Good afternoon. My name is Rachel Winterton, currently representation a group called the Ingenuus Research Group. We have heard some rumors that bring a large amount of interest to your dealings, and potential services. Now our information at the time is not resolute, however we have at least a general idea.
There have been circumstances of requirements which sometimes, we are not necessarily able to acquire on our own. Reasoning behind this being from the diverse locations on where materials are sourced. While we have docking permissions, sometimes the bulk quantities get us strange looks here and there. Perhaps we may be interested in having a third party solve that issue for us, for a price of course.
Would you by chance be able to provide information on what you can offer a client, as well as general confirmations that we have our facts straight? Perhaps there is something we can work out between the two of us, if you're what we are looking for.
If you're not who we thought you were? Wrong number.
Location: Barrier Gate, Coronado Subject: Your Enquiry
Greetings Ms. Winterton,
Though I can't get a good grasp of what you are coming at, I still can fairly paint a picture of that situation in my head. As far as my little knowledge extends, I guess that you might need our service to procure some "things" which you apparently require for reasons unknown. If that is what your intentions are, fine, lets us get into some more specifics then.
I suppose that the "things" you are looking for, might raise some eyebrows when a supposedly legal group such as yours, is in possession of it. Don't want to get your hands dirty, don't ya? *smiles sarcastically*. Nonetheless, if that is what you had in mind while directing this transmission towards "our group", I can assure you that, you are in the right place for the right reasons.
*clears his throat* Gentlemen we are, and I presume that you have a proposition to make, that can benefit us mutually, since, afterall, we don't work for nothing. I believe that, the "things" that you want, is something that, is reasonable for a nomadic group of, ermm, let us assume, traders like "us" to procure. Whatever floats your boat, go ahead and whisper it to us. And if the deal is good, we will get rolling. I presume that this is what, you might want of us.
And one more thing Ms.Winterton, don't believe in rumours...
To be honest, I was not expecting a reply with the amount of vague words as we received. To a mere request of inquiry, we instead received assumptions on what we were intending by making contact. Even after that, my question is still left unanswered on what services the Network offers. Vague answers don't really work too well when you're trying to make business with someone else.
Before any good contract, I believe it is good form to understand who the potential affiliate will be first. You haven't even introduced yourself, and instead jumped straight to a potential contract. As much as I respect that, it doesn't build the most structured partnerships as otherwise. I did mention this was sent out due to a rumor, hm? It seems believing in rumors have gotten us somewhere, yet even then I must admit the specifics are never one to be accurate.
I'd like to know what services you can offer, and in what matter they will be carried out. Of course, everything inside of this channel is confidential. Picking through words, I can understand you are willing to deal in Illegal goods. Correct me if I'm wrong. Is that all that we can expect? Or is there perhaps more we can think about building a partnership over than mentioned.
With our respects. I apologize for being a tough potential client.
I hope this transmission finds you at your most idyllic moment of the day, as for we do want our potential future clients to be in their best while we discuss business. I am sorry for the lapse in the previous transmission by Adams. He might have got a bit casual in his approach as because he has a gleeful heart that does showcase in his conversations. But I assure you that there was no intention of any vague words being used in there by him, as he is one of our finest pilot. Nevertheless, I apologise for any clumsy situation if caused to you. Now that, the previous matter is left aside, Let me acquaint myself, I am Gwen Johnson, a fellow member and Public Relation Executive on behalf of the Network. Ofcourse, your introduction, as you have provided, got us an abbreviated vision of your group which we can remit it for now and can be learned once we get to know each other subsequently.
Knowing that, rumours aviating around sirian space, is encouraging as it signals our growing repute. You see, we are a group of enthusiastic people who are willing to take the risk inside the hostile space, to bring out the supplies to the organisations which need them. Thats more or less sums up the entire work we do. In short, we get the goods flowing from neutral bases to the clients, side-lining the nature of the space around them in the system. As long as, we have a neutral venue, we are willing and more than capable to suffice the needs of our clients. You must have got a brief idea now that we deal with such commodities that are not under the grasp of normal groups without affecting their repute with the law around them. i.e. dealing with goods that are not seen with a good eye in house space.
The part where you enquired about the way we carry out our work befuddles me a bit. I am not sure as what do you want to learn from it but if its asked in a formal way then we do it by the most conventional way without any eyes preying on us.
Our trade deals, if any, are confidential and we don't utter our client's name in any way possible. With assurance that we keep the deals in arcanum of friendly space and work, if feasible within our capabilities will be done smoothly.
I hope I have provided the required information needed. I would ask you for briefing us more about the work that you have in your mind for contacting us, so that we can discuss clearly knowing about what we are signing for.
Ah, I must apologize for the delay. I had a gut feeling that we missed something after we ran that test which took up the radio-waves surrounding the Ingenuus. I thank you for the re-transmission. Came in loud and clear the second time. I must say, I seem to have given myself a strange image after my last transmission, I admit it's slightly embarrassing. No matter, I appreciate you getting back to us. Down to it then I suppose.
I'm quite happy with what I have heard so far, so i'll happily elaborate a little more on what we are looking for. We here at Ingenuus are what you may have guessed by what is on the public records. We are scientists, and researchers. As I am sure you can understand, people such as who we are require a steady income of materials to actually work with. It's impossible to make something out of nothing.
This is where you folks come in. There are items that come up on the market here and now which we may require to continue with our work, however getting the licensing and all the government works for each of the houses to actually receive what we're looking for, quite frankly is too much of a delay if we're in need of a restricted, of heavily limited sets of items. Putting things on hold due to a measure which can be circumvented is a slight headache.
In result, we have decided to look for easier methods to solve the problem. The number one way to go about this? Look for a organization which may be willing to haul what we're looking for anyways, while bypassing the major headache which is presented to us through paperwork. Now we'd be willing to go through it anyways if necessary, however from what i've heard so far, you are quite reputable when it comes to work of this sort.
I began this transmission to bring a few inquiries to attention, to see if you were really what we've heard about. And so far? I believe this to be true.
What do you say. If we were interested in using your services, would you be able to handle some bulk work if it were to come up? I'm sure some contracts can be arranged in the future. After all, work doesn't really slow down around here.
I do look forward to your response. Perhaps you can find some profit in the future if you are interested in long-term arrangements. I'm afraid I don't have any specific details upon what we'll be asking of you right now if you agree, i'll have to study some of the long term lists on what we'll be working on in the future. I'd like to hear your response first.
I am glad that we have a felicitous deal this far now, which suggests that Network is more than willing to work with your group. The load and the amount won't be much of an issue towards the completion of any future deals. We will make sure we present you the right time frame of execution for the contracts; within which we shall make sure we don't offer you any thoughts leading in questioning about our repute.
As for long term agreements, you can rely on us as we are eager to have clients that can offer us such far sighted deals and ofcourse as you have mentioned, we are sure that we would be having a lot of business together, looking at the workload at your end.
All in all, I am sure that we would be having a strong and collaborated relation in dealing our businesses.
Just before I leave, I must let you know that, We, the Network pilots, generally avoid the lawful bases. Call it our code or our common dislike for the Corporation-backed-governments, we mostly avoid them and their stench. I had to inform this, prior to finalising the agreement, if not known, that we would be happy to get you commodities and your required goods from the neutral and even hostile space, but we would not be considering to land at any lawful port.
I hope that doesn't become a big concern. I would really like to know that from your side, Ms. Winterton.
