I am sorry, I think I wasn't clear enough. I am not wanting to play Discovery and Crossfire at the same time. What I want is perhaps make a pause with Discovery, try out Crossfire, and then return to Discovery, without having to re-install either (I would like to use my saved Discovery games then and continue from where I stopped).
its possible...you just need to create specific directories for each mod means from the rough start without any freelancer installed.
1. Install Freelancer to example C:\Games\Freelancer\Freelancer
2. Create new directories Back Up ; Discovery ; Crossfire
C:\Games\Freelancer\Back up
C:\Games\Freelancer\Crossfire
C:\Games\Freelancer\Discovery
3. Copy and Paste the Freelancer Folder in each new folder.
4. Deactivate Antivirus at it might disturb following installations
5. Install Discovery into the discovery folder. It will be installed into a subdirectory, regular "\Discovery Freelancer 4.87.0" !!!
6. Install Discovery Launchpad, create and activate an account and set target directory to Discovery!!!
7. Install and launch FMM 1.31, choose the crossfire folder in the mod manager as "Target Folder"
7. Install Crossfire
8. Launch FMM 1.31 again and activate the crossfire mod.
9. Start Crossfire via using Launch Game in FMM
10. Start Discovery via using Launchpad
But isn't it possible just to leave my Discovery as it is, then activate Crossfire in FMM, play it, and then after having enough, desactivate Crossfire in FMM and return to Discovery, launching it from its own dedicated exe file, just as I always do? Will Discovery files (and saved game files specifically) become damaged just because I've played Crossfire via FMM? If I understand correctly, the game creates a separate folder for saved games and stuff for each single Freelancer mod?
