A camera shows a Caucasian male and Caucasian woman walking down a beach, a Caribbean beach. Holding hands while they stroll lazily through the sands. They converse casually
Geoff: "Now, to think that i'm still under repair, how an earth did you manage to both get the Reality-Matrix system working while my weapons and alternate vision systems are under repair."
'Zeal': "Well, i have my ways, i just Bypassed a few things, not-like a 'All-natural' human body can do. But hey, this is what happens when you get me!"
She begins to giggle while comforting herself under his arms.
Geoff: "Hey, i like what i have left of myself, you know its nice to actaully feel like i'm not part metal, i can feel with both hands, the touch of the sockets in the back of my head are non-existant."
Geoff gently brings the small hand of 'zeal' upto his right hand, where the steel arm would normally be.
Geoff: "What do you feel? In here its almost like the real world, pain is simulated, touch is simulated, everything that i would feel would feel exactly the same in here."
'Zeal': "I know, its just that... What i feel is only simulated... its computed, its just---"
Geoff: "Tell me what you feel!"
'Zeal': "Warmth, comfort, safety, knowing that you're beside me every time, even if we are systems apart."
Geoff: "I know, unlike others, you're not cold, you're as warm as i am, you have more courage and mercy than any other living thing that i know."
The clouds above the beach start to completely shade the area before small droplets start to fall from the digital sky.
Geoff: "Are you messing with the systems again, you know i told you to leave it on a variable."
She only responds in a giggle before tugging him towards a small modern styled private villa just off the shingle of the beach.
Geoff is seen walking around the house with blueprints and ship cannon parts scattered everywhere, He continues to look back and fourth from the parts and a Blueprint that shows no resemblance of it at all.
Geoff: "'Zeal'... You think we could build a working prototype of..."
'Zeal': "Whoa! Hey!"
A voice comes from speakers located all around the room.
'Zeal': "An adapted version of the Nomad singularity cannon?! Are you nuts, you saw what that did to Hunts office in his liner?!"
Geoff: "I know, i know... but, think about it--- how do you think they got the Nomad cannons to work on the Intel ships around Sirius? Its almost like the Technology had to be Implemented around the Biological cannon, you can't really instruct where things grow and what components do what if they're given a core instruction from a biological DNA."
He continues to scratch his head while most of the parts of Adapted nomad blasters are stripped to show the combination of Metal technology and Nomadic materiel.
Geoff: "Hey 'Zeal it looks just like you, only..."
'Zeal': "Shut up... Anyway, the materials used in this would possibly need to be multiplied to be able to handle the energy used in the singularity cannon. Although we could use something with similar properties except more dense and durable and able to hold a larger charge and 'All that jazz'."
Geoff: "Well, it seems like this was made to take out capital ships... by the looks of it."
'Zeal': "Yes, the Order already classified it as a weapon used to the Bomber class ships the Nomads have. Don't get any ideas, that thing might possibly be able to fry half of your ships systems if it was 'Lightly' altered. So we're going to need a lot of work, this may take a week of non-stop work."
Geoff: "And we only have one working prototype, so we'll need a way of locking it up with my escape pod if the worse ever happens to the ship."
'Zeal': "You think hunt would let us use the Singularity cannon?!"
Geoff: "Possibly--- Maybe... might take some convincing tho... He already has many people fetching weapons for him..."
Enfield steps in though the front door, the dust brushing out of the way, collecting slowly almost a year from his leaving from the Rheinland Military. Not even a mouse has disturbed the place. Stuttgart at its night time; its street lights shine through his windows.
Geoff: "Its as cold as i remember."
He takes out a card from his Augmented arm, still glowing brightly blue.
Geoff: "'Zeal', turn on the heating system. I'm freezing my arse off even if I'm in Stuttgart, winter is approaching."
He plugs it into a large computer system, almost instantly all the lights in the house turn on and all technological devices boot up, from T.V.'s to computers.
'Zeal': "Bloody hell this stuff is old, we'll need to replicate what we had back at Cambridge since the breakthrough."
Geoff: "Technological minimization towards a standard of portability extended towards the capacity of military grade stationary hardware."
'Zeal': "Stop sounding smart, you designed it, and i remember those months we worked on it."
A female figure appears the large screen in the Living room, long black glossy hair going straight down with bright blue eyes almost unrealistically shiny. As she opens windows on the screen, lists of check boxes start becoming ticked.
'Zeal': "Security measures in place, guest support system is inactive..."
Geoff: "I think the only visitors i'll get is the Vice admiral and his guards... More than i used to get."
'Zeal': "Mhmm, you're not really a good host anyway."
Geoff Walks over to a table containing schematics and blueprints.
Geoff: "Ambitions, jeeze, i haven't seen weapons and tools this dedicated since we had the Singularity cannon."
'Zeal': "Well it was your line of work..."
Geoff: "Yeah, 'Was'. I should put them away, it'll bring back things i'd rather forget."
'Zeal': "Here, i'll unlock the secure filing cabinet, just shove it in there."
Geoff: "Yeah, cheers."
He just carelessly shoves the files and papers into the filing cabinet, without even the care for organizing them.
Geoff: "That'll do, i won't be needing them."
He jumps onto the sofa, taking up all the room and looks out the window, just staring out into the city lit area.
'Zeal': "What now? are we just going to wait until-"
Geoff: "Mhmm, until i'm given the green light, work won't start until Putzkammer gives me a message, things are going to be dull."
'Zeal': "Don't let this be another suicide mission, i'm bored of those..."
Geoff: "Its only detective work."
