Freya chuckles. "I'm you taxi-pilot now? I mean Rheinland has its share of criminals and terrorists, but since the election results have been publicly announced I think I have moved up a few places again among Rheinland's most wanted." She squints her eyes and clenches her fist "Those damn Hessen always seem to get the top spots though."
Opening her eyes and hand she continues. "In other words you'd better be able to fire a gun, because you're going to protect me." She sighs. "Gott, why do even let you convince me so quickly..."
She turns to Katrina. "Kat, I want you to come along as well. Shadiya too if she'll be available when we go. You won't have to come along with us when go and meet McLowell's mother, but since we're going so far away I want some extra personnel on the transport."
"Woohoo! A field trip to somewhere that's not Rheinland. I've always wanted to go to somewhere where there actually are bright colors!" Katrina appears to be somewhat overexcited, but Freya decides to let her be so. "McLowell, the Arsenal is scheduled to fly in two days from now. You can do the decorations once you're back, because you'll probably need the time you have now to learn how to tie your combat boots and to learn how to hold a gun without accidentally killing me."
"McLowell? Hallo?! MCLOWELL WAKE UP!!!!" Freya knocks on the door of room 57C so hard that Katrina, sitting on the couch, is afraid that Freya might end up hitting straight through the door. "Are you sure you couldn't do this more... subtly?" Freya stopped for a moment and turned her head though she couldn't actually face Katrina because her body remained in the same position so her neck can't turn far enough. "I told you to check where Shadiya was, I have no need for you to educate me about waking people up. Verstanden?""J-ja, Freya. Right away." Katrina quickly grabs a datapad from the table and seems to do as she was asked.
When one starts to live on a space station without proper preparation, most people have quite a bit of difficulty adjusting to the lack of a proper day-night cycle. This goes especially for a base that always needs to have personnel at the ready to conduct operations and to be prepared to defend the station at any time. Whenever there are some people sleeping, many others are awake.
Yet even when only two standard days have passed, Freya shows no remorse. Lacking patience, she opens the door and steps inside to find out what's keeping Lizzie...
