Glad to see you're well Hide, I hope your new setup works for you. This is good intel indeed, I've wired 10 million to your craft the FKS-Sho, and tell your boys nice work. I've suspected that the IMG are getting a little too cozy with Gallia in the Taus these days. We may need to pay them a 'closer eye' if they're gonna buddy up to these low lifes. I hope the Ronin does catch up to these guys, so you can give 'em hell just for me. You know the rewards. I'll be tied up in Liberty for a while, so do what you can. I'll join you to check in within a week.
Our last "adventure" was seemingly unsuccessful with no prey around. I believe, on the other hand, we have gained the full capability over our vessels. "Akapai" is fully operational, yet it may need some equipment changes (played so far heavy support role, but is still fragile against fighter and bomber wings).
My men indeed found Jinpachi around Kyoto. He is still stable yet thinking about joining Blood Dragons, as he always had a positive attitude against those. They may help him getting rid of the Cardamine addiction that he gained, after some events he participated in.
And that pilot, George... He's a shady one indeed. He acts strangely and Jinpachi also confirmed that this guy was also behaving weirdly in Pennsylvania, where he have met him once or twice. Dragons don't like that Bretonian - that's sure.
And in case I haven't told you more about the latest events:
1. FKS-Ronin has been destroyed in Gallic ambush.
2. FKS-Sho has been declared missing after going into Tohoku.
3. Akapai is my current ship for undefined time.
Indeed our last patrol was uneventful, but I have the feeling our presence was felt in other ways, and sometimes messing with the enemy's heads can be good enough for me. As for the Pelican, don't feel bad. A long time ago I realized what her strengths and weaknesses are, and you can only grill so much out of one. Thankfully I ain't planning on fightin in any wars anytime soon, but I think we can handle the lesser armed, more isolated targets. I like to minimize my risks, and as you know I've sank every penny I've scoffed into the Argo, to make sure I can do that.
It is a shame to hear about the Ronin and Sho. As for Jinpatchi, I think the Blood Dragons would be an excellent choice, as both a refuge, and new career. They are an honorable crew, and the more pilots willing to mess with Samura and their lapdogs, the better. Speaking of, when it comes to Antioch, the Dragons haven't put a price on his head...yet. The second we hear otherwise, he may prove to be a viable paycheck.
With regards to our usual 'targets', I believe the pressure is paying off, and I've seen a drop in their activity. Keep an eye out for them, hopefully we'll keep them on the run.
I've been bouncing back and forth into Liberty whenever action in the Taus lightens up. It has resulted in many skirmishes with some randoms: A few odd Xenos bombers (one foolish enough to chase me into Peurto Rico), one sour and clueless Rogue SHF that barely made it away alive, and a few grumpy transports passing the Bering system. Nothing we couldn't handle, for the most part.
On that note, I may have something for us to chew on in that area. I'm still investigating, but I may have a line on a new corporate supply route down there that's ripe for the picking. It seems there's a new Freeport there, and I'll be watching carefully who's running supplies out. I may call upon you soon to join me in south Liberty for some back up.
In the meantime, keep doing what you do, I've wired you another weekly sum of 40 million SC to Akapai. Remember, treat that Pelican well, and she'll treat you just as well in return.
We had a very strange encounter right now. We have been approached by two vessels, Liberty fighter and Order fighter - a very unlikely duo. They wore the tag very familiar to the one we have encountered before (that is D9). Their IFF was scrambled and they were unlikely either The Order or Liberty Navy, because Baffin is not their territory - and they stole our cargo, in the name of "being law enforcers". Either they are pirates or defectors. Yet... Something was not right... Technology in both vessels was nothing we saw before (strange energy patterns of their shields). The Zoners on the station are also concerned about their presence in Baffin.
No matter their origin, we believe those photos should be beamed to our Dragon friends. They may know about them more than we do. Akapai will be awaiting at Shasta in Baffin, because it was the only place we could flee to due to the circumstances at the time.
We should inform The Order as well, because they would be interested that one of their fighters was stolen or went missing.
It looks like Ageira is pretty busy inside Alberta. While running around Liberty for some mapping (after giving some help to our Libertonian friends in solving Xeno problem), we have encountered a very interesting structure. After checking some readings, it looks like Liberty is building a long-range jump gate of the design never seen before. To where the jumpgate would lead is great unknown for us.
The closer we were, the more problematic recording was. After some Ageira vessels have appeared, unknown to us if convoy or not, we left the area immediatly to not to cause much interest. We headed back to Tau 37. By the time you read this message, we would be already drinking sake on Freeport 6.
Hide, good to see you're still in one piece my friend.
Sounds like you've had quite a few strange ordeals there. Unfortunately I've been unavailable to assist with those matters, as I've been tied up by my own 'ordeals' back in Texas. I've been under cover for a while and am now on the run, trying to lay low, real low. I've hit the border worlds and plan to stay there for a while. I still have a set of eyes in Liberty of course, but for now my plan is to keep a low profile until some things blow over. If you can meet me somewhere like Barrier Gate Station at some point in the next few days, I'd be up for a small Op to snag ourselves a quick credit or two from some passing traders, and you can fill me in on those hostile fighters. I'll have some more dough for you as well. In the meantime, stay frosty.
I'm thinking of planning another 'operation' soon and will be looking for contractors again. I've been 'lambing' it until recently. If you're still in one piece hit me back and we can meet. As things slowed down last month, so did the cash flow, as I'm sure you can tell by now. That's ready to pick up again if you're able to provide your assistance. I'll be standing by on this frequency.
You can say my crew and I are still alive and kicking. However, our actions within Kusari and Taus became a bit problematic, due to the huge flow of goods between Kusari and Gallia - escorted by military force as well. We had dropped the usual place for a more silent areas, such as Rheinland and Omegas, to make ourselves familiar with Rheinbier and some folks in here. However, our return into Kusari and Taus will be smooth, as Rheinlanders and Libertonians are busy firing at themselves.
After a long time of stagnation, it looks like that Corsair Empire woke up from their slumber, as we have noticed a rag-tag fleet movements in Omicrons and Omegas. While not being our turf for sure, Outcasts might be interested into information about Imperial movements. One of the vessels however, as we got some scraps of their comms, is probably the somekind of leader's flagship.
As a side note, we have encountered Red Hessians, the Dragon-like revolutionaries of Rheinland, who in fact look more likely like Xenos than someone of Shogunate's dignity. It looks like Omega Systems are fun place, with Rheinland and Bretonian spies flying around, unlawfuls killing other unlawfuls, Bounty Hunters, even the Core Guild.
What I could say about Omegas? Well, the fragile peace at the best, between Rheinlanders and Bretonians. The situation may change, as Rheinland Military, Gallic Royal Navy and Kusari Naval Forces did some covert operation in secrecy together... If you remember that [STRING MISSING] incident, RM, KNF and GRN worked together, yet it must be confirmed. However, if Military or Naval Forces (or both) join the Gallic side, it may impact the political borders of the whole Sirius not only for lawfuls, but also between unlawful entities. We smell the bigger war effort out there.
Oh yes, one of our additional ships is [STRING MISSING], untagged and unregistered Pirate Train that flies between various places in Sirius, like [STRING MISSING] or [STRING MISSING]. And Baffin surely looks a safe place for now. Be wary however, Colonials are sniffing around Coronado lately.
I believe we should tighten the relations with our certain friends. While most of us operate independently, it would be good idea to set a secret meeting in a remote system. What about Sector 1A in "9"? Barely anyone goes there. It would be a good way to check how many of us are still alive.
Note, what about new members? I've heard there's a certain man with his cronies, recently kicked off from Liberty by its Rogues, The Gangster or something like that... He also fought against IMG and Rheinlanders in a rather big battle on their own soil.
I suppose a trip to Kusari is in order. I've been keeping to neutral space, and one of my usual hang outs, staying off the reservation in between some bits of action. I'm up for what you have in mind, and I've sent some funds to hold you over. If there's anyone you feel we might be able to trust that you want to bring to the table, you have my blessing. I'd like to get some coordinated action on the go, something brazen, and of course I'll make it worth your wilds. We need to pull off a big job, something to brag about and gain some rep.
I'll be in the target area within a day, see what you can do until then.
