Background:
Kera was the first and last product of the OSD (Order Science Division) Proto-Eugenics program, run by Admiral Kaylee Staite of Order High Command with the goal of creating accelerated-growth clones to bolster the Order's dwindling ranks of pilots and soldiers. The only successful clone produced by the program before it was put on indefinite closure following the battle of Toledo, Kera was named and 'adopted' by Admiral Kaylee Staite.
Achieving a physical maturation state equivalent to 26 standard years within the first year of lab growth, and capable of learning at a rate seven times faster than an average human being, Kera advanced through preliminary training at an astonishing pace. She has developed an identity throughout the course of this growth as the 'sister' of the Admiral overseeing the program, having been grown from part of Kaylee Staite's DNA samples combined with numerous other exceptional individuals within The Order.
Kera has only recently been permitted a place within The Order's ranks, after passing numerous examinations to ensure that physical and mental capacity and stability both lie within acceptable standards. Currently, she is assigned to Reconaissance Wing Alpha, an Onuris fighter group operating from the stealth ship Pakhet.
The Pakhet
The Pakhet, a stealth reconaissance cruiser operated by ex-OSD personnel, was commissioned prior to the Battle of Toledo, and is one of the few remaining reconaissance cruisers within the Order fleet. Designed purely for survey and reconaissance operations, the Pakhet is lightly armed and amored, but makes up for these deficiencies through speed, agility, and stealth technology.
The Pakhet fields two wings of Onuris-class scout craft - alpha and beta - and sends these craft out for long range tracking operations and interception duties.
Onuris-class scoutcraft were developed by the order following the Battle of Toledo. Designed as interceptor-scouts capable of both long range, low profile reconaissance as well as interdiction duties, these fighters are gifted with speed and agility a match for any vessel in Sirius, with a specific gearing towards combatting Nomad light fighters.
Alpha and Beta wing Onuris fighters, stationed aboard the Pakhet, are specially modified for docking and storage aboard smaller vessels. As the Pakhet was not designed primarily as a carrier, space for snubcraft is limited. Collapsible wing manifolds allow each fighter to contract to half the normal width and length of space required for storage. A byproduct of this system is modular design of the wing manifolds, which allows for easy maintenance and replacement of damaged parts.
