We made good time.
But as we where on our way back some Sairs intercepted us at Freeport 9.
Since we didn't have much choise but to land we did that, and I wasn't about to just wait in the Hawking for the Sairs to go away so most of us headed to the bar.
*chuckles* In the end I think half of the people weren't able to talk let alone walk and the other half got kicked out by the Guards.
Convoy Incidents:
Just that the Sairs tried to be smart.
Other Notes:
The goods we delivered in this Convoy where:
Basic Alloy-3000 units
Cigars-500 units
Chopper-750 units
Aluminium-3000 units
Alien Organisms-2000 units
Consumer Goods-500 units
Engine Components-1000 units
Fertilizers-750 units
Luxury Consumer Goods-500
Luxury Food-500
Robotics-2250
Polymers-2000
Super Alloy-1750
Mining Machinery-2000.
Ah that should be all.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a notifier to draw your attention to Omega 3 and Talbot. We will soon be initiating another construction surge, with the intent to finalise the station. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated and rewarded. All the prerequisite Robotics have been obtained, but another 42,200 standard units of Basic Alloy and the same value of Hull Panels are still required.
Lets get this done with trademark efficiency, chaps.

G'day chaps!
The second day of my new Bowex career as almost come to an end. And it has been ever such a very productive and fruitful day. I started the day by trying to improve my personal reputation with the Bretonian Armed Forces and the Bretonian Police. At around 11AM, Terry, BES Serenity's captain, hailed me with an invite to a convoy. I gladly accepted and we head off to New Berlin with a friendly banter, carrying gold ore from the beautiful King's Cross.
Right at the start of noon, just as we dropped off our gold ore, we got summoned by sir Peterson. He asked us to deliver ship hull panels to Port Talbot for the next construction surge. Finding some profitable cargo to haul on the way back, and my mind on blank, this is what I spent my time doing till around teatime. My travels had both supplied Talbot, and yielded enough credits for me to trade in my ol' Heron for a brand-spanking new Shire! Oh dear me, I was ever so excited! I spent a good 3 hours revamping both the interior and exterior, so it would meet my perhaps neurotic needs. Luckily the ship was already in perfect symmetry so that was half the job done already.
After tea, I saw some fellow Bowex employees moving to bring some supplies to Talbot again, so I joined them. Quite frankly though, after I delivered my first batch of ship hull panels I noticed two hostile targets on my scanner near Douglas Station. The pacifist I am, I turned 180 degrees and headed back to where I came from. They had noticed me as well and tried to disrupt my engines, but I was swift enough to escape. Although with a sweaty forehead from trying to navigate the monstrosity that is the Shire, no damage was done. I moored back on Port Talbot and gave my crew the rest of the evening off.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the Bowex family -I think i can call it that from what I've seen and experienced- for the welcoming and the kindness. I feel that I have learnt more in the past two days in Bowex, than what I did in a month of freelancing. I look forward to whatever may come and hope that this is the beginning of a lengthy and enjoyable adventure.
Now, I need my rest. I believe that the blood pressure-raising frustrations from trying to gain control over the Shire's way of steering reduced my life span with at least 2 years. * Frantically runs his hand through his hair to make sure none of it is falling out*

Good morning Mr Rheinhart,
I have read your report and heard of your recent activites, good work! I'm glad to see our trainees started off on the right foot, keep it up. I would also like to congratulate you on your choice of acquiring a shire, it is a magnificent and powerful model making up a majority of the Bowex trade fleet - an excellent choice, no doubt!
Piloting the Shire has shown to be more demanding than most smaller transports, as even our experienced Percheron captains took a while of getting used to it. If you would consider such an opportunity, I will catch up on what assistance the Trade Combine can offer - I'm sure one of our captains with many years of flying experience would be happy to personally introduce you to the Shire's peculiarities and ways to pilot it more efficiently.

Good evening, director. A situation has arisen which requires your dutiful attention. A message was recently received by the office of the Director of Operations which could be considered politically toxic. There could certainly be consequences if we were to be seen dealing with the 101st Ghosts of Ragriz. We are therefore looking for a suitable employee who can act on our behalf as an appropriate and discrete agent. I would suggest an experienced employee of manager or supervisor level. We trust your judgement implicitly. Please forward your selected candidate these transmission encryption codes.

Andrew my good fellow, I have a little job for you. A rather delicate matter, which, if it all goes wrong could result in some serious consequences for you.
I need you to go to Scarborough, I suggest you take someone with you, someone trustworthy, Jan Peters perhaps?

Righto. Can't say I like the sound of that, but I'll jump in the Leeson and head on over nonetheless. I've taken a quick look at those codes you sent me as well. I presume you won't be wanting a report on what we're up to? I'll excuse Peters from his duties and give him a quick briefing. This never happened, naturally.

From: Capt. Jamison, aboard Bowex)Crowley. Subject: Incident Report. Location: New London System.
While transporting Basic Alloys to supply King's Cross, I was accosted by an Indie pirate named Zyrael in the tradelanes between Planet New London and the Base. He demanded 3 million credits, which I paid due to his flying a pirate bomber and since the base needed these supplies ASAP.
The ship Bowex)Stanley was also in New London, so I alerted him to the pirate presence.
However, the Stanley was still chased by this pirate.
While I was aboard KCS, the Captain of the Stanley alerted me that he was arriving at King's Cross with said pirate on his tail. I undocked to render assistance and found the Stanley arriving at the base immediately.
Within moments, pirate Zyrael came within sensor range and the Stanley began to engage the pirate at maximum weapons range. By the time the Crowley was released from the base's docking station tractors, the pirate had closed to within King's Cross' defense system perimeter and was engaged by the station as well.
We are happy to report that the pirate was destroyed by the combined firepower of our station and 2 shire transports.
