Joe stepped forward, looking at Dean. A somber look had covered his face.
Doctor Holiday. I believe I can answer any questions that may help you. However, I'll ask you come with me, there's one more thing I'd like you to see before you begin.
He began to move towards a door in the back of the room. It hissed, sliding open as he approached it. Inside was one bed, raised and tilted forward. In it sat a young girl, Kusarian features. On her, the yellow liquid could still be seen seeping, but it was clearly beginning to harden, forming a solid outer shell, whilst the liquid spread underneath.
The planet this comes from, is Gaia. I planned an expedition to see if anything of use could be found, perhaps something for your line of work Doctor Holiday. I'm afraid I had to call of the expedition, after this began... With my niece, Saphire here..
He stopped, taking a deep breath, composing himself. He looked up, almost cheerful. He was clearly trying to hide his fear, his guilt. His eyes betrayed him of that.
So Doctor. I believe you wished to get to work? Ask me if there's is anything you require. I'm sure I can get it for you.
//Doc. Sorry I hadn't replied. Had s bit of a RP blank. Hopefully I'll avoid it in the future

He examined the woman, taking readings with his tricorder. For now, all her vitals appeared to be normal. He then turned to his host,
"Gaia you said," he inquired, "I know much of the plant life there has made inhabitation dangerous at best. I've read files of the plant life being poisonous even if it is otherwise liveable."
Doc thought a moment, "You weren't able by chance able to get one of the plants that caused this did you? Having a host of a venom enables people to make anti-toxins. People of ancient times captured venomous snakes to milk them and produce anti-toxins."
Then with a gloved hand, he approached the Kusari woman and broke a piece of the shell off. He then turned back to his host, "Let us get to a laboratory, Sir."
