There was no crew you would have faced if you invaded through the hangars.
There was only one person.
The one you were looking for.
Now?
I'm pretty sure that crew of 'one' has risen quite a bit thanks to your failure.
I don't know the exact number.
I'm not someone who can see everything and anything.
The only options I am seeing to take the person you're looking for now..
Are options which I refuse to take.
There are things in this world.. Actions. That I just do not like.
Going in guns blazing, bringing in a death which wasn't meant to be..
Happens to be one that I don't like.
With one crew member, you can avoid that.
You failed.
Horrendously.
With more than one?
You're going to do something that I don't like.
If things happen that I don't like
We don't help people.
A map and a name-tag renews itself Geoff.
While left alone, it stays in a trackable position where we can merely give you a new map.
Guess what?
It's doing something which we cannot get a map of now because of you.
We have information
Although it's the last information we're probably going to get. Our source is no longer reliable due to the absence.
Determination is strong, that's why. When its the only thing you find yourself worth living for, its the only thing you end up living for, you don't want more or less, especially when its been taken from you, and you know its still out there. You feel the need to really.... Really, get it back. And possibly denying that person the chance completely isn't going to end very well, for what side, i don't know. But its going to throw them right off the cliff of sanity. And what damage might happen when they reach the bottom of that cliff? We won't know what to expect for sure, but its not going to be nice for someone.
Who else is going to use that data anyway, I'd doubt that any other construct would be able to understand it or be compatible with the system... You have a coin that's only able to be taken by one machine, and its the only coin that it can take. You could of left me drifting, not knowing where that part of her was, but you've told me that you hold it... And unfortunately for you, my attention is always going to drawn to you for this, until i get it back. No matter what you ask me to do, shes going to get back what she was. If you're going to hold onto it forever, then you're hanging onto dead weight. You can get rid of it, give me that bloody damned chance, you will have Commander Kelly from me, no matter how long it takes... But i will get that data.
Pah. Comeon Geoff.
If I had the 'data' you are looking for, I wouldn't have mentioned it.
Why do you think i'm asking you to kidnap that agent for me?
I have the means to retrieve it.
I'm merely missing two pieces.
The Tombstone, and the one you're after.
Don't waste your resources on us.
You won't get to us anyways.
The third and final piece rests in the Lyoko.
Something that we did happen to nab.
I don't have much to lose.
I personally find people of that category rather scary.
You fit under that category, and gave me hope.
Although you aren't really all that I expected you to be.
I asked you to convince me.
Instead, you pull a half-assed threat at some point.
I don't want to blackmail you.
I don't 'have' the ability to blackmail you just yet.
Once that Commander is with us..
Then we'll have the means to do such to you.
However we're not going to.
Once we get what we need.
We will give you what you're looking for.
Turn against us?
We'll turn things into hell for you, and fade away.
I'd rather not help the Order.
Although if you keep this attitude you've had the entire time?
I might just need to tip them off.
Give me half a day.
Tell me your plan
So I don't have to experience another horrible screwup like before.
I told you to watch for words of double-meanings.
Yet it seems that our words earlier telling you the location, and the instructions..
Were not heeded to it's full state.
If you can't figure out words when it's being purposely made cryptic
How can you expect to come up with a plan to beat the Order.
I take it back, patrols come in handy, even though they do normally get me in a pickle. I'd suggest its best if you ask me where you want your "Guest" trasferred to you, i'd rather not have another Villa blown up and anothers electronic systems fried... Trying to secure the person in comfort didn't seem to work too well, but the constant surveillance, total strip of equipment and weapons changed her mind. Although i'd wouldn't like to keep her here for long. I'll be waiting.
Wow, you actually pulled it off.
Getting kidnapped usually makes a person angry.
Not surprised she gave you some trouble.
Oh well.
The transfer location is going to be in Liberty of all places.
If you're going to do something..
Do it in the middle of everything.
This is for both the sake of ease, as well as subliminal insurance.
We don't want our friend Kelly to come up with any ideas now.
I'll forward a time and date and attach it with this message.
Looks like i'll have to ask that favor afterall to repay you, eh?
Good, Liberty is easy to reach, i can hang around that sector for a long time, possibly camp around one of the Lane hacker facilities. Especially under the cover of some super-rich / super-luxurious ship, I'm sure the police & military forces would be more occupied with protecting someone with a large amount of assets and monetary value rather than interrogating him, so I wouldn't have a problem with it. If you'd like to, maybe you would like to come aboard and see her for yourself, she seems relativity calm about it, although my systems have her on constant watch and I'm still a bit skeptical about losing another Villa. We've put a lot of work into this vessel, and I'd rather see this thing go for a reason a bit more impressive, but preferably I'd rather not see my Liner be destroyed at all.
