He sighed heavily, left his payment card on the table and left the bar, too. He met Jack at the elevator. "I hope they will succeed. Would be a damn shame if they wouldn't."
He kept reassuring himself, that everything would be okay. Jack wouldn't notice anything, as Zettsu maintained his iron, determined expression.
When they entered the hangar and reaching the ship Drake told them that they just finished the work on the power core and that only a real test remains. "Well, and how do you want to conduct this test? Then what are you waiting for?""Well i've managed to reroute every controll of the ship onto this console, but it wasn't really designed to handle it, so thats why we are waiting...." Drake wasn't able to finish the sentence because sudendly the ship's systems became online. The characteristic sound of the engines wich are powering up, along with every light coming online. "Well this looks good.""I must agree. Let's see the diagnostic." Drake pushed some buttons on the console. "Well it seems we did a really good job. According to the diagnostic, every system of the ship should be working and every system is recieving the required energy. Wich is good. I would say it's ready to fly, however some adjustments will be needed in the future. And of course we still need to weld back the hull panels.""Well my friend it seems your ship is ready. If you experience anykind of malfunctions contact us, because iam sure there will be. Untill they finish the rest of the work on your ship lets go back to my office."
Zettsu felt the tension escaping. "Thanks a lot for what you've done here. If this piece of scrap can operate on its full power, the criminals in Liberty will have quite a bit to fear." If that ship was indeed completely unlocked for him, he could finally end his hiatus and go back to his work, to what he loved the most.
He turned towards Jack. "I don't know how I could pay you back, friend. But for now, let's go back up."
