Okay, now I don't even have plenty to answer to, so it will not take a huge message.
@Darku No word from them yet. I got sanctioned instantly, but since 8 hours received no reply, nor notice in any form, private or public. The thing that kinda should have been done immediately. So yeah.
@"The Neko Mistress" Admins didn't reply the question that have started the thread.
@Alley Noticed how you ignored my suggestion to you, fair and sqaure for both of us? And then you say that there exists only my opinion and no one else's? Go read that link you were so proud of when I got banned for a day and lifted in 30 minutes, especially the conflict part. You have a lot to learn from it as well, ma-am.
Admins/Moderators, I still wait for answer. If nothing else, give me the name of the person who gave me this ban, we will discuss the mater privately instead of spamming the forum.
Oh, and I have to point that one out:
(12-02-2015, 12:14 AM)WPeregrine Wrote: I recall that the Shoutbox, in it's first weeks of inception, was abused and spammed to hell. The Admins quickly decided to reset it, and put a little grey (green?) message above it, warning those that use it that the shoutbox was a "little to zero tolerance zone", and that infractors would be permanently restricted from using it.
It seems that in the moving here and there of the forum this message disappeared, but it seeped into the minds of the community that the shoutbox banhammer was lightning fast.
Until one guy who decided to come back one day and was not aware of this committed the offense, and decided to call foul. For he was not properly informed.
Informed that civility has perks, and lack of temper has penalties.
TL: DR bring back the shoutbox disclaimer that warns people to behave.
That was calmly writen, but I don't see anyone quoting it or saying anything positive or negative about it. And personaly I find it funny for many reasons, but currently, I'd like to highlight the point - if you want anything to stay in order, write a rule to it and do not just remove it because you think that everyone calmed down. New people are still coming. And people who weren't there for grand opening coming back too. And they have no clue what they are into. And banning them only because you have been lazy to write one rule is... well, I said that already. So what's wrong in that kind of thinking? We are all from different countries and what seems like abuse to someone is no abuse to another person. Clarifying that is what admins are there for, aren't they?
