While we mostly interact with stations, the population of a station is normally around the 500-700 mark. If we look at the population of planets it's millions or billions. It's reasonable for a faction to haul ore to its house of origin. Cryer hauling Platinum would be p dumb, Cryer hauling Niobium to New Berlin is also kind of dumb. Cryer hauling Niobium to it's own factories(inrp) in Liberty? Totally fine.
So why do BMM and ALG haul ores away from their house space.

IC lore itself details that IC is a shipping company that is reknown for shipping high value goods (such are ore) throughout Sirius.
Please don't spread inaccuracies if you only have a vague idea of Interspace Commerce's faction lore. What you describe is in fact the exact vanilla description of Universal Shipping.

It's still part of IC lore to haul ore. If it's not, then what are you doing?

We are getting off-topic, I merely intended to correct a mistake. IC has indeed a shipping division but this is just a small fraction compared to its main activities. So it is incorrect to call Interspace Commerce as a shipping faction.
Come on Snak3 stop with the Council bullying. Leading a Gallic faction is a momentous task, especially Council. Thyr already puts in more effort than a lot of factions in Disco do.

At least they do play ingame. Unlike [C]ouncil
[C]ouncil does a lot of things, like logging in when powergaming LH go to Roussillon for trading than threaten to spill the location of the system when they die.
