Quote:Getting your faction active is nice and all, but when you have a force of what is essentially the best PvP team on the server fighting side by side constantly, its really crappy for the other team. Maybe if you guys went on opposing sides more, the event would become more challenging and less of a push-over/poorly timed/he said she said gank/tear fueled festival, and perhaps become a balanced and fun encounter.
Ven, nobody is coming to pull our asses out of the fire if we split our side up. Like it or not, we are hugely outnumbered - the only thing stopping the enemy side from dominating us completely any time we fight them is that they're unable to focus all their numbers in at once, and usually trickle in over the course of a prolonged engagement.
The second I start siphoning off players from my side to bolster a side that is already inches away from winning a fight (for some reason nobody likes focusing gunboats even with a snub force that is wholeheartedly big enough to kill them?), we may as well resign ourselves to being simply crushed under a numerically superior force. Half the fights I've ever been in were only possible due to sucking up nanobots gained from shotguns/snub SNACs.

Aside from that I don't mind not seeing eye to eye, the screenshots of the fight speak for themselves.
And so does the way the GRN behave.
I'm sorry if I hit a nerve. We will undoubtedly look forwards to seeing your Cupholder bolstering the LN ranks in future, just as much as you are no doubt enjoying taking one set of screenshots from one side of the fight as gospel truth. Next time I shall screenshot the LACS, LibDreads, and AI drones (lol) shooting the hell out of me as well so that everyone can enjoy a more balanced diet when it comes to post-fight mudslinging.
regarding this whole grn ganking thing
let me give you a handy little graph of how pvp fair fight etiquette has always worked on discovery and how it's always going to work until the newbie starting system is moved somewhere else
now stop talking about this because it's pointless
Well to be fair we came with all snubs and 1 GB, we were met by fair capspam, there was like 1 cap per our snub I guess. After dealing with all of most of us were exhausted, then we noticed LN snubs that kept chilling at LA for quite a bit of time and waited for them to come, they didn't so we logged off.
Not quite sure what you consider cap spam. But the Liberty forces cruised in one by one and died one by one.
All while your bombers and fighters hug 2 solaris gunboats.
Consider logging an LN snub next time, lets see how long you hold on.
And no need to punch Integrity for trying to get the point across that you fail to see.

Liberty side lost all their gunboats which they had, LABC, Dreads and Carrier to bunch of snubs and half of the time there was one gunboat who enjoyed being focused by 2-3 battleships. And I don't have a honor of having Liberty snub, sadly.

It costs you not even 25mill to make one. Something you can earn by killing 5 Liberty players which takes no effort at all, as you just described.
But I think the point has gotten across, if it's accepted or not is up to the GRN.
Liberty will keep on feeding you blue messages of people who have no idea what they are doing.
In return the server gives you some pocket money and lets you say you were outnumbered.

I actually said that it was exhausting if you will read my first reply to you, you saying that we did it without an efforts, eh. Believe me I do enjoy all those screens from the end of the fight where I did not even bother to participate properly. We tried to give Joker a duel, but you seen how it was lagging as far as I remember from TS. Complaining about the gunboat when Liberty had a lot of caps on their side is rather meh on my honest opinion. Also I did fight GRN in Taus as Outcast and GC, it is still doesn't seem to me that Liberty needs more players.

You see 6 red arrows and 3 green vessels. And 2 GRNs one being an indie, the other being omi hugging solaris gunboats.
Go get your 5 LN kills and make one, and figure things out for yourself because these posts don't seem to enlighten you.

I can understand where you're coming from, really, I can. It wasn't so long ago I had nine GRN| up my arse on a Nyx while flying solo through Magellan back in the days (You know which days). It's difficult when one side lacks a modicum of coordination, but even with CR/BAF/LN/Sometimes Outcasts/AIwhat on one side against the GRN, did you ever notice numbers never work in their favor? I'll agree, this event was poorly timed, and I personally have no interest in reliving my days fighting the GRN or fighting beside them (The few times I actually did), but I'm sure you understand when people come out and say 'Hey, that wasn't a fair fight for reasons A B and C'. I can also understand your unwillingness to reason with people who shout 'This fight was unfair! You ganked me! I don't need evidence I was there!'.

I don't get the aversion to shooting called targets first in a lot of group fights. Some people just seem to run off and do their own thing. This was the case even in the old days of TFG/27th (From personal experience, anyway). Either way, I just wanted to get my opinion in on the matter. What you do with it is your choice.
