3.3 OOC (Out of Character) chat and behavior in Local/System Chat
4.1 If you die whilst in a PVP situation, in any form, that character/ship does not re-enter the same system for 2 hours and the Player, on any of their ships, cannot reengage the aggressors on any character for 2 hours. You are allowed a grace period of 5 minutes to leave the system with an empty cargo hold and you are safe from further attack during this grace period within that system. If the attacker(s) log off, you may re-enter the system you died in
4.3 Docking during combat with hostiles in docking message range (15k) counts as PvP Death, except for Traders
Consequences: Bastille, whilst we discuss.
Your definition of fun is not always the same as other peoples.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
I made a mistake. In the time I was away I did not know that the rule on docking range had been reverted back to 15k, therefore when I docked and there was 10k between me and the nearest hostile, I thought I was in the clear. However after being complained at, I did leave (well within 5 minutes) without having shot at anything and then docked and logged off. So I didn't break this rule.
I expressed my displeasure at the somewhat overly pro-active desire by the other players, to push another player out of the event when the defending side was already extremely outnumbered even from the start. My intent here wasn't malicious or trying to push my "definition" of fun. If anything I was trying to explain to the other side that nothing is gained by pushing people away from the event through rule-lawyering, which would leave the defending side with even less people, and thus less chance to avoid a gank, and more chance to have their enjoyment effected negatively. In fact if I'm perfectly honest I believe there was such tenacity to push me away simply because Laptev was the only ship present there with a cloak disruptor that could counter K'Hara/Wilde dropping insta-decloak Marduks/Battleships on the other players (which, on the subject of fun, is not fun at all to be on the receiving end of). I hate flying this ship because it's such a target and not fun to fly as a result. If I told you I was having fun being the dedicated cloak disruptor whipping boy, I'd be lying. Still, my participation in the fight was a necessity, and was done for the sake of the other players on the defending side.
But if I may point out I was not the one who initiated speaking ooRP in local, and to punish me for that whilst all the other people present also complained in local - much more than I did - is quite unfair. Just something I'd like to point out.
Anyway Implosion told me off for my short and confused mess-up. It won't happen again.

Righto, as Core leader at the time, I was presented all evidence and I took action to warn the player in the Core chat and in personal messages.
I made sure he's now aware of the rule and will follow them to the letter.
For as far as I cared, the thing was done.
But apparently, someone felt it was needed to also submit a rule violation report anyways and occupy admins as well as faction leaders, despite he ,@Shizune , contacted me in person and I made it clear I will handle it.
Regardless, since I was in power at the time, I apologize for not being there and not preventing the incident.
I apologize for not being a better leader.
Sorry.
Also, Laptev is a shared Core, it's not Lyth's personal ship. Just saying.
