COMMISSION: IMPROVE 404's BATTLESHIP REVENANT
WARNING: THIS FILE IS COVERED BY A NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT
Objectives
As ordered by Keeper Revenant and the Inner Phalanx, the following file is the analysation and improvement of the vessel Revenant:404 - Liberty 'Spearhead' class Battleship. It should be noted that this command was ordered to be done with haste, due to other on-going interests. The following information was declassified and made available to assist with this request:
Quote:[19.03.2017 03:13:02] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: So, what do you want me to do then?
[19.03.2017 03:13:11] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: I've seen them open up anomalies in front of Erie.
[19.03.2017 03:13:18] Revenant:404: Reeves: I need your help.
[19.03.2017 03:13:20] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: But what can we do? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
[19.03.2017 03:13:29] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: You're aware your House doesn't really like you.
[19.03.2017 03:13:34] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: //really like our presence* wtf
[19.03.2017 03:13:37] Revenant:404: Reeves: If not by you directly, I need you to enable me to hold them back should this worsen.
[19.03.2017 03:14:13] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: R: Hm.
[19.03.2017 03:14:19] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Help in what way?
[19.03.2017 03:14:22] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Foresighting attacks?
[19.03.2017 03:14:34] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Or some knowledge on their vessels?
[19.03.2017 03:14:48] Revenant:404: Reeves: A combination of anything you can offer to assist.
[19.03.2017 03:14:56] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Or perhaps manufactoring a device that can disrupt their ability to hide?
[19.03.2017 03:15:03] Revenant:404: Reeves: Chiefly, helping me reconfigure the mess this ship has become.
[19.03.2017 03:15:24] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: *sigh* Please don't tell me it's a monument class.
[19.03.2017 03:15:30] Revenant:404: Reeves: No.
[19.03.2017 03:15:37] Revenant:404: Reeves: But it's not an Overlord either.
[19.03.2017 03:16:18] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Eagle?
[19.03.2017 03:16:25] Revenant:404: Reeves: You're getting colder.
[19.03.2017 03:16:47] Revenant:404: Reeves: I'll spare you the torment of guess-work.
[19.03.2017 03:16:50] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: *sigh*
[19.03.2017 03:16:52] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Too tired for it.
[19.03.2017 03:17:01] Revenant:404: Reeves: This was an unofficial project to replace the Monument.
[19.03.2017 03:17:08] Revenant:404: Reeves: Dubbed the 'Spearhead' class.
[19.03.2017 03:17:09] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: I see.
[19.03.2017 03:17:19] Revenant:404: Reeves: The project failed miserably.
[19.03.2017 03:17:34] Revenant:404: Reeves: Meaning nothing more of this class was ever produced, save for this one Dreadnought.
[19.03.2017 03:17:53] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: And I suppose you want us to make it less of a failure?
[19.03.2017 03:18:08] Revenant:404: Reeves: Yes, considering the technology although sufficient does not work well together.
[19.03.2017 03:18:22] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Hrm.
[19.03.2017 03:18:29] Revenant:404: Reeves: It's like having four feet, but one has fingers instead of toes.
[19.03.2017 03:18:43] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: And your engineers can't work on it because...?
[19.03.2017 03:18:57] Revenant:404: Reeves: They could, but it will take them a copious amount of time.
[19.03.2017 03:19:04] Revenant:404: Reeves: Time I worry I don't have.
[19.03.2017 03:19:25] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Well, there'll always be time.
[19.03.2017 03:19:35] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: They've only been deploying raids.
[19.03.2017 03:19:40] Revenant:404: Reeves: That sort of complacency doomed us once.
[19.03.2017 03:19:42] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: These are nothing - easy to take care of with manpower.
[19.03.2017 03:20:05] Revenant:404: Reeves: I've seen the feeds from New London, it's only a matter of time.
[19.03.2017 03:20:13] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Reeves.
[19.03.2017 03:20:17] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Those were experiments.
[19.03.2017 03:20:19] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Not invasions.
[19.03.2017 03:20:28] Revenant:404: Reeves: Then God forbid they launch an invasion.
The following communication is referred as a reference for the requested job:
The Revenant committed to the Invergordon shipyards at 03:30 SMT this morning for a in-depth scan of the interiors to analyse what improvements could be conducted within a reasonable amount of time and within economical constraints.
As expected from the provided conversation, the ship appears to be a mixmatch with some parts registering a match with the Monument model - information that was previously obtained from the Arktos back when we had it - and some parts registering as a match for the Overlord, to which most of our knowledge is based upon scrap or exchanged information.
Here is the list of the current information we have on the internals extracted from the scanning process:
Specifications Wrote:-XV Class Plasma Array Emitters
-Ageira-grade Fusion Reactor: Standards similar to the Overlord Class -Basic Disruption Countermeasure Systems: Flares - Sentinel Class
-Gravitation based Shielding System
-Reinforced Alloy Plating
The highlighted component is the most optimal component to work on improving, due to the simplicity of it's nature to work with, and how the installed components do not conflict with the operation of said system. It's also noted that the vessels power system is compatible with installing more modules to the energy system. Before any schemes are developed, the modules must be analysed.
Highlighted modules of interest within the engine chambers. Components are considered to be sufficient enough to not interfere with a proposed Electromagnetic Disruption Wave-Field Generator, to upgrade the Revenant's ability to counter the Solomon K'Hara's incursions, as well as opening up the ship's capabilities as a major support role in Fleet battles.
Reactor analysis based on scans conducted in Inverness and previous analysis of the reactor system in the Monument-Class ‘Arktos’ have shown us that these reactors rely on inertial electrostatic confinement for power generation. A lack of conductivity is noted, but appears to be compensated for by a combination of magnetic confinement via electrostatic fields.
As anticipated, the reactor is specifically catered to optimize the Revenant’s existing equipment at maximum efficiency, and does not allow a significant amount of room for modification. Thankfully, our experience in working with a much older frame of a similar vessel will clear up many of the roadblocks we’d likely face if working from the scans alone.
The reactor is primarily focused on ensuring the function of the XV-800 Mk II Plasma Array for movement efficiency, and to avoid a significant heating issue. The direct integration of the system remains the largest concern when investigating possible ways to integrate EM-Wave Disruption technology, as routing power away from the primary engine could cause unnecessary issues in the future, primarily in terms of unexpected shutdown or catastrophic engine failure.

Materials
Construction of a basic disruption device was initated today, 03/04/825 9:00 AM SMT - completed 1:30 AM - 04/04/825 - the final delivery was registered at 1:20 AM, engineering completed construction of the last module and installed it to the device.
Although the generic disruptior was completed, the prototype has yet to be conceived, this will remain unmodified until the designs are finalised and adapted to the vessel.

Components
As expected within the internal systems, the Revenant's grid is fairly more optimized when compared to the Arktos' data, the components of such are far more sophisicated, which is unsurprising. Due to the complexity of the grid's nature, it's posed a minor setback for the installation of the countermeasure systems, which will be required to use a proxy capacitor in order to ensure that the reactor and its energy system isn't overloaded during operation or malfunction.
The capacitor will act as a flow regulation in order to regulate any power trips, and flows through this device to safely draw power from the reactor, depending what command is issued to the input systems. As such, the energy system will also require its own console system to specialise in modulating the EM Generator.
The generator was specialised for fittage on the Revenant to minimise space usage in favour of allowing lower maintenance costs, and to slot into the previous countermeasure system as a replacement. The device is now built to adapt to the shape, and will require a minimum of fourteen hours to physically build in the device. As for specification, it matches the standard build of EM-Disruption fields, generating a electromagnetic wave that'll overload any veiled vessels cloaking reactors. As the Nomads are known to use a photosynthetic process in their organisms - yielding converted solar energy, the energy within the Nomad's 'cloaking' abilities will also be disrupted due to the unbalanced levels in their system, causing it to go into temporary shock as the 'blood in the veins' are rejected, as they're now carrying negative plasma charges, to which the husk will reject from their system to flush it out.
The device has been modified to fit, as mentioned, and is now awaiting for mechanical injection. The ship is required to return to the shipyard for fitting, and will be required to run some tests before they're able to leave.
