As per request from the ship captain Ezreal Vertiga, We, along with Master Wither, decided to take on the job of making a cloaking device that would last forever. The founds have been transferred and the calculations have been made. The old calculations were wrong to some point and had to be remade. By sacrificing 14.3% of engine cruiser power, the new cloak would be fully powered without any problems. The last calculation had shown about 5.7% which was completely of target. The construction went on as planned and the device is in the making.
NOTE: IRG POWER CELL IS NOT NEEDED FOR THIS.
NOTE II: FEANTURI CLASS SHIP SHOWS HIGHER POWER OUTPUT AND IS ABLE TO POWER THE CLOAK WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE ENGINE
CHIEF ENGINEER ADAMS REPORT: 50% of the known work is already completed. The main problem is connecting the device to the main power frame. With the blueprints and everything we have on the ship, we are still unable to find a safe and proper way to connect it as a new power consumer along with the engine and the weapon systems. I have arranged a team to make a new frame blueprint to see what can be done about it and they did say that they found a solution to the problem. By reconstructing the engine power frame, the upgraded device would fit in like a glove. We believe it would take a day or two to complete the blueprint and we should be able to complete this within several weeks completely. We are sending our apologies to Captain of the Aphanta. We did not know what to do with this problem, but we managed to find a way around it. The work will proceed as planed as soon as the new prints are complete.

That was for the report that was late. We were unaware of the problems there right now, but we are back on track. This channel is open to the crew of The Aphanta and Dr. James Erzie himself.

Just to avoid any confusions, there are a few alterations going on on the crew decks. It shouldn't affect your work on cloak, but just so you don't wonder about the apple tree being hauled through the cargo bay. We might end up with the first Mako-class battleship with an extended hydroponics module.
70% of the device has been completed and about 25% of the new frame has been completed. The device is in the testing and is showing promising results. The device itself is fully completed and is good for installation, but due to possible problems that might happen while using it and additional tweaks that might save the engine power, it will take an additional week or two to complete it. The frame is properly directed this time in three ways, rather than two. The old frame was powering front and back of the ship but now it will be powering the ship in thirds. The top, the front and the back. This will balance the power and should be able to work without losing engines too much. Its still within the calculations, but the engineers think its fully possible.
CHIEF ENGINEER ADAMS REPORT: The construction and the reconstruction are going well. Everything that should be known has been sent to EVE for additional sights. I still don't know what is that tree doing there and I won't ask at all. We are working on ways to improve the lifetime of the systems. The three way frame is something that is used on the Feanturi so we know what should and can be done. That is all for now.

CHIEF ENGINEER ADAMS REPORT:
70% of the work has been completed and the first parts are already being reinstalled into the ship. Thanks to the new grid, the ship will work in thirds properly with the calculations written in the viewer.
The new grid will allow the engines and the cloak to be powered to 100% while weapons are set down to 10% and the decks that are not used to 50%
If the captain agrees with this, he should give his go as soon as possible.

You have my go. Can't wait to have this finished.
By the way, during the breaks, your technicians are invited to visit our hydroponics. The Apahanta is now officially the first Mako with an apple tree inside it.
UPDATE RECEIVED:
The pseudo test runs have been fully completed and we are looking all green here. To start up the whole grid for everything to work, we need to start up the ship in a way so it does not break down, where we would need to repair the whole grid. This means that the whole process is risky for the ship and its crew.
CHIEF ENGINEER ADAMS REPORT:
Our main computer processed test runs were not running well. The first ten ended up in ship being disabled, losing life support or even it being destroyed. Yes I am not lying. The eleventh test with a proper start up procedure gave out perfect results. We have constructed an AI that will be focused on that procedure alone, so before starting up the ship, the AI should be turned on and after the ship is done with its work or is docked, the AI should be turned off last.
Here is what will the AI do once it is turned on:
An entire AI for the start-up? Interesting. I'd like to see the source code of that AI, definitely. Please give us a physical data storage device containing that AI, our system engineer and his team shall take a look at it. Can you give me a short version of what exactly will be done by this AI and how it needs to be installed? Will it overwrite the present Apahanta AI?
