So the players decide to finally do something about the complete absence about their wishes in Kusari, and suddenly it gets retconned out of the game. Because damn the players for wanting to stir up activity in a low activity part of space. Crazy how there's no problem with crippling a house when the devs do it (Gallia absolutely stomping Kusari in .86, then the civil war where a small band of rebels magically gets a foothold in Kyushu + dragons start taking Nagano), but when the players try creating something that may or may not have negative consequences, nope not allowed. And yet it's a big mystery why people are leaving the server.
but then again i don't play so what does my opinion matter

Kusari civil war was Kusari playerbase iniciative and mostly player driven as far as I know.
Good decision here to ignore actions of few players who decide to shoot its RP allies just because thought come to their minds : "hey , lets see can we do that and get away with it without getting sanctioned " !
I am torn there.
Player interactions are good.
Player driven plots have huge potential to get players involved passionately - which would be what Disco lacks atm.
However, it leaves an ugly taste when the parties behind the scene (in this case Kusari Gov and GRN HC) do not agree on what is happening. Not roleplaying a situation is not cool. Total denial is not cool. Being steamrolled is not cool either. The solution is somewhere in between...
Guess a chance was wasted here, but perhaps the situation can be used to define what the status between Kusari and GRN is irply, and how it translates into the game reality so that both sides can play and have fun while respecting the lore-wise setting.
Why are we situated in 'god mode' where we weigh the positives and negatives to just make a decision that creates an equilibrium. Equilibrium situations in the main lore don't generate interest.
Stop twitching.
I checked some stats on other non-freelancer servers and they are all experiencing a player dip due to exams, most likely. It is not just us.
