Few weeks ago, on a shoutbox, someone claimed that I had Corsair IFF on one of my characters, what I disagreed with knowing that Corsairs are green, but not green enough to flash - let alone having any ties to Corsairs. Yesterday, I was said the very same thing with yet another character. I quickly connected these two facts and quickly came into certain conclusions.
I restarted both characters with LiCivilian restart. As we all know, 'civilian' restarts do not bear IFF. Both characters were killing Rogue and Outcasts NPCs - the recent character hunting those in Pennsylvania. Some players pointed out that my character has Corsair IFF, while I am 100% sure that my Corsair rep isn't even above -0.2.
The /droprep command claims I do not have any IFF. Any idea why such a thing occurs? Or maybe it could be a leftover by Corsair Guard IFF (I think there was one) that isn't listed in-game but may appear under certain circumstances?

Freelancer ID does not change the IFF, just a note here. I also cannot really risk messing my reputation sheet because of rephacks using non-generic ID.
I am aware that I doublebribe for Freelancer IFF, but that's not solution in order to explain why such a bug happens. I'm more interested into latter.

Problem solved with making a new char with proper restart. Prior that, Liberty Navy IFF kicked in and issue disappeared.
Leaving thread open however to see what might be causing the false IFF, cause some people see it and others don't. Maybe Devs could explain it somehow.
