Name: Yeggito Kebok Rank: Captian Order ID#: 081-976 Last Updated: 30-May-824
Summary, Background: See Order Primary Fleet application for full story.
Kusarian; born to a GMG Wing Commander. One brother, Yasashiku; contact lost after joining the Order. Studied Chemical Engineering on New Tokyo before working as a logistics officer for the GMG. Flight experience from an early age, and regularly flew patrols and escort missions for the GMG when resources were thin.
Reasons for joining the Order unknown. Approached an Order team on Freeport 11, and was brought back and enlisted straight away at Taba. Fell into line quickly, and had positive initial evaluations (excerpts below).
Quiet demeanor, humble personality, and very calm; excels at assessing risk and planning accordingly, but it doesn't delay the decision making process, be it in resource management, strategic offensive planning, or tactical combat engagements.
Quick learner; does everything by the book. High level of integrity. Interested in deep-space surveillance, would be excellent fit for leading clandestine reconnaissance or research-based teams outside of Order-controlled space.
Current Standing Orders
Primary: Search the Lower Omicrons / Omegas for, and track down, any remaining fragments of the "Legion of Steel", the group behind the attempted coup of the Order Overwatch. Secondary: Covertly detect, evaluate, and mitigate any Nomad expansion (infections and/or assets) into House space via the Lower Omicrons. Update NavMap / Order Neural Net entries pertaining to Nomad presence in the systems traveled to, utilizing advanced sensor / scanning arrays. Secondary: Make progress on Operation "BAXTER" and Operation "ALVEUS". Secondary: Investigate any use of nomad-derived hyperspace-oriented technology by organizations in House space.
Not sure where we found this kid, but he's different. Most of the young guns, this early in training, are still far too risky in their approach to combat; this Ensign Kebok, on the other hand, is far more risk averse than than the average recruit. While he isn't the most "pure" / "natural" combat pilot I've seen in my years, he doesn't take unnecessary risk in his engagements, and never puts his wingman in a dangerous spot.
A number of times, he could have pushed an offensive maneuver, and perhaps scored a kill in the 3 on 3 drills, but broke it off to take up a defensive engagement to protect his teammate. It isn't very often you see that type of awareness this early; he didn't need to be told that one mistake out here can, and most likely will, cost you, and your fellow Order personnel, their lives.
Commander T.Okada Wrote:I wanted to make a quick note on our most recent tangle with Core forces in Omicron Delta. We were in a flight of four ships, 2+2; Yegg, the newest to the group out here at Dabaduro, had ships 3 (his) and 4; I was in 1, my wingman in 2.
[Yegg] noticed the pack of Marlin fighters, and broke high and away; a little unconventional, but he set up the angle of engagement so he and his wingman came directly out of the sun. That line of attack took one Marlin out immediately, and made the remaining three break low and away, putting us (ships 1 and 2) right in the saddle, sliding onto their six almost immediately.
It was a standard 4 vs. 4, but, with Yegg's cool, calculated observation of the space around us, setup the engagement in much more favorable odds, and we came away with two Core down, with one damaged before they punched away towards Yaren. Textbook.
Senior Logistics Officer K.Valcor Wrote:...and I would like to make a special commendation for Ensign Yeggito Kebok; given his background with logistics with the GMG, he helped us identify a few areas in our supply lines that could be managed better, and cut the time of moving H-Fuel to a few forward-operating bases by nearly 20% in his first week here.
He has a knack for seeing problems, especially with asset management; he knew he could pull an escort squadron off of a lower-risk supply run, and assign it to a higher-risk, more exposed route in order to keep that supply chain healty. I understand why he's being pulled into the new project, about Iridium; he'll be a huge asset as a logistics officer.
Commander C.Collevechhio Wrote:...as we entered the nebula, I was surprised how calm he [Yegg] was in our formation. Normally, it's the first time these younger guys are flying outside of controlled trade lanes, nevermind in uncharted nebulas. Couple that with the fact that Nomads hit as hard as they do, and they whole "if-your-ship-is-damaged-you-may-float-aimlessly-until-they-try-to-break-in-and-infest-your-brain" aspect, most can barely function.
Yegg, however, seemed fairly nonplussed about the situation. He did mention, after the fact, that he grew up in the Crow nebula in the Sigmas, and had been flying off instruments, rather than out the window, most of his life. This type of calm in these low-visibility, potentially uncharted nebula is a plus, for sure.
The LV-Shezmu was purchased, outfitted, and successfully mined ore at a significantly increased rate (16x) compared to a traditional mining setup. The route back to Fort Carthage in Omicron Epsilon takes ~20 minutes to travel, and while in Core / Nomad space, is fairly desolate at most times.
ii. Proof-of-Concept, Miner / Transport: COMPLETE
The utilization of the LV-Satet transport with the LV-Shezmu mining craft was successful; time spent at the Iridium Ore mining site was increased (as the cargo hold of the transport is approximately 8 times that of the mining vessel), but, with the Ore selling for ~8k, one trip netted enough to fully build and outfit an Order fighter, or additional mining vessel.
iii. Construction of “Kebok Survey Station”: COMPLETE
In order to store ore, as transport logistics could be interrupted with the presence of Core or Nomad assets in the vicinity, the decision was made to build a small station, under the guise of "surveying" and "studying" the Omicron Lost system.
The base's accommodations were spartan, but allowed mining vessels to dock and have quick access to the field, and for transports to easily access Ore for transport, if a mining vessel was not suitable for work (the large sun, and the density of the ore field, meant maintenance was nearly always underway on the mining craft.
To aid in the prevention of either the Core or Nomads detecting the base, it was built significantly above the ore field, and allowed transports to make a straight-line approach from the jump hole to the docking bay doors, getting outside of radar detection range very quickly.
iv. Support of Mining Operation: COMPLETE
The station, once built, was mostly kept up by Yeggito Kebok, with resources being dropped off by several other Order Primary Fleet officers. The base, outfitted with extra storage and a shield, did not require much in the way of resources, but did require constant attention due to the low amount of storage.
v. Upgrade of "Kebok Survey Station": INCOMPLETE
After approximately eight (8) weeks of operation, the base was detected by Auxesian agent "Sapphire Raven", and the Core were notified of the coordinates. Once this neural net message was intercepted and decrypted, all assets were moved back to Order controlled space, and the station was destroyed.
Research of Baxter anomalies, and their relation to hyperspace travel and communications
b. Objectives
i. Contact relevant IRG Assets with previous research: COMPLETE
A communication was sent to the IRG|Aurora.Borealis, who had previously utilized hyperspace scanning techniques to evaluate Baxter anomalies found inside house space. Building off of their research, and perhaps utilizing their ship's technology and capability, would increase the rate at which this research progresses.
ii. Test Hyperspace Scanner in Order space: INCOMPLETE
Once the IRG ship has returned two-way communication, a trial date will be set up to test the hyperspace scanning in Order space. Once calibrated to operation in the Omicrons, and any limitations understood, the project will move onto the next phase.
iii. Outfit Rehseph-Class Cruiser with scanning technology: INCOMPLETE
While a full hyperspace scanning module will not currently fit a standard Rehseph-class cruiser, perhaps smaller conventional sensor arrays can be tuned to probe the space around the cruiser to look for, and mark, anomalies. Once marked, the IRG-vessel can scan, and share the data with the Order researchers assigned to this program.
iv. Find and Document known Baxter Anomalies: IN PROCESS
While currently incapable of fully scanning and interacting with the anomalies, the Order NavMap will be updated with details regarding the location, size and intensity of the anomalies, when discovered.
v. Correlate Baxter Anomaly formation/generation/existance with Nomad presence/movement: PREREQUISITE RESEARCH REQUIRED
While it is hoped that these Baxter Anomalies can help the Order understand movement or communication of Nomads, this phase requires the initial phases of this work to be complete.
Detection, Mapping, and Evaluation of Nomad Hives. While some hives seem to be categorized as several thousand years old, their purpose in not yet fully understood.
b. Objectives
i. Map locations of existing Nomad Hives: IN PROCESS
Basic Navmap entries exist for several hives, but these datapoints need to be updated. Surveillance, to understand the frequency of use of each of these hives, it to be completed.
At this time, no sources of Nomad power generation shall be brought into range of these structures,
until further research has been completed.
ii. Research / Test sensor/signal processing to detect/understand long-range Nomad communication: IN PROCESS
While short-range Nomad communication has been documented, the ability for remote Nomad hives to communicate with each other, to coordinate attacks or to influence movement through Sirius, needs to be understood, to prevent large-scale outbreaks of Nomad infection.
iii. Correlate Hive location with Jump Hole database and Nebula characterization: IN PROCESS
These Nomad hives may have been grown/placed irregularly, but it is more than likely that they were constructed at places of high importance, likely for transport, or for resources. Characterize any jump holes, or resource-rich nebulae, around Hive locations.

Details:
A reconnaissance-class cruiser, the Sebennytos is outfitted with standard Order sensor arrays, high-resolution scanning, and signal processing equipment to detect, and track, Nomad activity. As the Order presence in most house systems is prohibited, the ability to stay undetected is paramount. The vessel is outfitted with cloaking technology, as well as dedicated crew to ensure the signals generated by the vessel are mitigated, and signals detected are done so with the smallest footprint of detection. It is of brand-new construction, built in 823 AS, and was under to supervision of then-Commander Kebok in its final exercises before being deemed combat-ready when an attempted coup of Order High Command took place. Yeggito Kebok was promoted, and the command of the vessel was given to him, along with the small, but dedicated, crew.
In addition to being a remote set of eyes and ears for the Order Primary Fleet deep beyond Order space, special research divisions have crew aboard the Sebennytos to advance the study of both Nomads structures (Operation 'ALVEUS', the study of Nomad Hives) as well as Hyperspace travel; more specifically, the generation, and stability, of jump holes (Operation 'BAXTER', which investigates Baxter Anomalies found around Sirius, though none are near Order space, and initial research / theories need to be evaluated against experimental findings).
As a vessel that is under stand-alone deployment, the tasks of the crew do not stop at simply conducting research and maintaining ship systems; while primarily used to be an additional set of eyes and ears, the Sebennytos may be called on to be the Voice of the Order Primary Fleet as well; as deep-space deployment in often in systems where anything, and everything is hostile, combat readiness is not a question, but a constant. Outfitted with a Light Mortar to use against static structures or large vessels, and an array of Primary and Secondary turrets off Order design, the svelte, nimble Reconnaissance Cruiser carries weaponry to neutralize enemy vessels of its size or smaller, and to discourage larger-class ships from engaging.

CLASSIFIED
Main Purpose:
Main personel vessel of Officer Kebok, mainly utilized for low-profile, single-craft reconnaissance, and threat interdiction to Order-controlled space. Details:
Yegg's first, and favorite, Order ship, it has been heavily modified over his years of operation inside the cockpit.
As the main job of this fighter was to detect, engage, and defeat threats with little-to-no detection, the arrangement of this Bastet is...unconventional, to say the least. While far from the Order's most accomplished fighter ace, Yegg has chosen high-damage, low-refire rate weaponry, pulling from the Order's cache of CODENAME weaponry, collected over years of scouring wrecks of vehicles found stranded in the Omicrons for Nomad interaction. While less than idea for a prolonged firefight, this arrangement group excels at utilizing the element of surprise, and cool, calm trigger finger, and superior tactical maneuvering, to end engagements before they have a chance to begin.
As any Order pilot knows, being detected in the Omicrons can typically cascade into less-than-ideal situations, especially if flying solo sorties, or in the deeper reaches of space, away from communications arrays and the typical paths of patrols. Hence, this fighter is equipped with cloaking technology. The cloak, requiring enormous power, cannot be used for extended periods of time, but can be used for evasion once detected, or to prevent detection in the first place.
After the return of an Order war flotilla from Crayterian space, it was found a damaged Nyx fighter, and its powerplant, were tractored in during a skirmish. The Order attempted to clone the drive, but found that standard Border World powerplants, much more common, were easier to repair, rebuild, and service than the extremely specialized Crayterian engine. Still, Yegg prefered the engine, and had one of the early-model clones fitted to his personel Bastet.
Lastly, the lights on Yeggito's Bastet are unique; while standard-issue color and intensity, the unique pattern and slow pulsing compliments Yegg's calm, but ordered, demeanor.
Ship
Name
Base of Operation
Order|"081"
Taba Starbase, Omicron Mu
Main Purpose:
Energy-based Anti-Capital Ship "Bomber". Details:
While the roll of the bomber has not changed much since inception, this particular vessel is all energy-based, rather than torpedo-based. With exterior lighting to match Yeggito's personal Batset, this vessel has seen action as the go-to asset for when tensions, and the size of ships, increase in confrontations between the Order and the Core. This vessel saw extensive use out of Dabadoru station in Omicron Delta.

Base of Operation
Order|CV-Sharuna
Taba Starbase, Omicron Mu
Main Purpose:
Anti-Snubcraft Gunboat for threat elimination in Order-controlled space. Details:
Yeggito's first capital-class vessel, it was issued to his command once receiving his promotion to Lt. Commander. While it did not see much action, it was used for patrols in and around Order space, and is highly capable of mitigating threats posed by groups of small-class vessels that find their way into Order territory.
Iridium Mining Vessels
Ship
Name
Base of Operation
Order|LV-Shezmu
???, Omicron Lost
Main Purpose:
Iridium mining vessel for the extraction of Iridium Ore, at a rapid pace, from the Omicrons; this vessel is intended to be used in conjunction with a larger transport craft. Details:
All forward-facing gun / turret hardpoints utilize standard-issue Order weaponry, for the use in self-defense, if the need arises. The low aspect ratio, and the ability to cut all power to lights, engines, and communication arrays, allow for the mining of ore, technically under the Core's claim, to be done in a much very stealthy fashion.
The rear-mounted turret platforms, four (4) in total, utilize Mining Arrays. As all mining lasers converge on the chunks of ore, floating through the void that is Omicron Lost, at the same time, the ore is energized to a much higher extent, which burns away most of the impurities found in the ore. By doing this at the ore-extraction level, rather than a costly, and cumbersome, post-processing step, the rate at which this vessel can mine useable ore is nearly 16x that of a conventional mining vessel.
Ship
Name
Base of Operation
Order|LV-Satet
Fort Carthage, Omicron Epsilon
Main Purpose:
Large-capacity transportation for Order Primary Fleet operations. Was the "flagship" transport for Operation BARON, and was the proof-of-concept vehicle for the Iridium Ore mining operation. Details:
This particular example of the Bison, which Liberty designed to for maximum storage density, has been further striped and hollowed out, with only light armoring; flight engineers have been known to debate whether the armor's main purpose is to protect the ship from the odd Core or Nomad encounter, or to protect the inside of the ship from the loading and unloading of Iridium: either way, it is woefully insufficient for either task, but the Satet, named after an ancient goddess of the first flood of the Nile river, first flooded Fort Carthage with Iridium, allowing the building of additional ships and advanced weaponry for the Order's use.
