The obvious answer naturally made him blush a little, so stupid was he for asking a silly question ''Of course..'' he mumbled, trying to regain some of his now damaged pride. ''So was the Council always military like? do did it have humbler origins?'' he asked, trying to think up a more intelligent yet still 'on topic' question.
He was the first to admit, that these were heavy questions, especially to begin an interview with, but he had done that intentionally. Right from the start, as soon as she walked through the door, his mind clicked on to the idea that the more she had to talk, the more oppertunities he had to look at her. And he was looking at her, who wouldn't? she was gorgeous. Inbetween his questions he took notes, most were relevent and sound observations on what she said, others were more questions for later, but a few, were desriptions of what she looked like. This was, of course, justified in his mind, a description of the subject was only sound. Of course, he ignored the fact that no other interviewers had ever taken notes on what their subject looked like.
