''Sorry sorry..I just can't...get the...bloody thing...'' he said before a quiet *Twang* rang out ''Ah, there we go.'' He said pressing the record button. He cleared his throat before begining, ''Interview with Colonel Jeanne Elise Francouis, Council Military. This interview begins on the 25th of May, at 5:30 PM.'' He paused taking a careful sip of his own glass before looking at her. ''Hello. Thank you for coming'' he said smiling at her. ''So, the begining then. Tell me of Gallia's early History.''

Well going back as far as I remember to the beginning of the Council movement. We arrived from sol, had a civil war over hell knows what, then came the Council which formed on planet Marne in 636 A.G.S. The movement developed slowly and really gained its name around 711 A.G.S, by then Marne was a killing ground for liberalists speaking out against the Crown. The movement took arms in 714 A.G.S. ambushing the Crown's forces at Reims forcing them out of the system. Fighting went on for another three years before Champagne was totally ours. After that some skirmishes in Lorraine occurred we took Languedoc for a short while before being flushed out of the system to Sirius where we met you and the Colonial Republic. That's the short version, if you want a copy of a history textbook I can send one to you. But, yea that's the short version of our history. She finished wondering if she had answered that right, she answered what probably were a few implied questions as well.
All things considered, he realised he should have started with a more specific question. While her answer was fine, it failed to answer his intended question.
''I mean to say, in the begining...the Sleeper ship Gallia, the house's early days. Do you know anything about that?''

Not that much I'm afraid, we never made contact with any of the other houses because of -what was- our abundant supply of internal resources and systems. The Royal Navy never made a foreign endeavor because of the Council. Other than that I don't know tooo too much pardon. She made an expression implying she didn't know much, she never really learned much about the history of the house in school, mostly because they spent more hours indoctrinating their children to install the Council's beliefs and ideas of what was "right and wrong" into them.

Planet Marne in Champagne, what started out as liberal protest rallys turned into an armed rebellion after the attack at Reims station. We the Council, want the government changed. The Monarchy is driving the house to ruin internally, we've swept resources, gone broke on this conquest to satisfy the King's ego. Democracy, putting more power in the people, is what we believe in and what the Nation needs. She replied almost too fast, afterwards taking another sip from her wine glass, beginning to tolerate the taste of it a bit more.

Wouldn't want our allies on the inside to have their cover blown, or give any potential leverage against us away by mentioning who our public supporters are specifically.
