we are slowly running into problems with our main asset as I had already explained to Mister Jansen. We would now like your engineers to work together with ours to check first how we can prepare the hull for any work and to be better suited to survive the current environments.
We are aware that it could make the ship heavier but that will be something we have to pay. If you could then go ahead and tell us what we can do about the ship and what your crews need to get to work we can finally begin.

I have assembled a list of technical modification that will need to be done to the Harmony, to grant the vessel longevity. Vulkan assures me that the cradles are ready.
- Removal and replacement of the reactor. This is a major operation that will involve removal major structural members from the dreadnaught – and thus, a drydock. The reactor will be surrogated for a MX-285 thorium MOX model comprised of several reactor cores recycled from various vessels. The housing itself, however, will be unique, and we will need Harmony to supply the various components to rebuild the reactor structure. The reactor will be operated as an antimatter initiated fast-fission reactor which should provide comparable power levels.
5000 units of Nuclear Devices (reactor construction)
500 units of Thorium MOX. (reactor fuel)
1000 units of Superalloy (reactor housing)
3500 units of Gadolinium (reactor shielding)
- The external skin of the Harmony will need to be resurfaced, and many of the structural members replaced. Superalloy is difficult to replace without Liberty’s supply chain. A molydenium structural alloy composite can be used instead for roughly the same performance. The Harmony’s current construction is far too logistics dependent to be sustainable far from the grace of the law.
5000 units of Structural Alloy (Armour structural members and hull strengtheners)
3500 units of Molybdenum (To be alloyed to the skin as defense against laser and particle weapons)
3500 units of Manifolds (reinforcement for the hull).
3500 units of Alumium (additive structural materials).
1000 units of Ablative Amour Plating (surface skin).
- The vessel’s wiring harness will need to be entirely rewound to prevent system breakdown with the integration of fresh components. We will need to fabricate nearly twenty thousand kilometres of superconducting wire.
3500 units of gold (conductive wire).
3500 units of beryllium (superconductive wire).
1000 units of superconductors (prefabbed).
- The vessel’s current computer core is vulnerable to software backdoors placed within the manufacture of most spacecraft. It is possible that infiltrators may be abusing said backdoors to send intelligence to Naval Intelligence. We will have to reconstruct the master computer entirely, which is no mean feat. Whilst we may not be able to equal Agiera’s own work, we will be able to protect the vessel.
500 units of Bio-Neural Processors (Tactical logic)
500 units of Yttrium (optical computation)
500 units of Quantum Multiplexors (systemwide algorithmic processing)
500 units of Cryocubes (systemwide liquid cooling)
1000 units of Nanocapacitators (nanocomputation and nanite systemics operations)
1000 units of optronics (Processor and storage backlog)
- We need to rechristen the ship, after all.
1 unit of Rum.
We have sufficient components to rig the shipyard for use, and replace the Harmony’s physical drives, without requiring any further logistical support. The above list regards only what we cannot obtain readily ourselves, or suffer a shortage of.
Vulkan suggests that you attempt to obtain a spyglass suite from the Lane Hackers – it will vastly boost the vessel’s radar and E-war capacity.

Armin Jansen.

yet again the Unioners surprise with their resourcefulness and capacity to plan retrofitting something as odd as a Liberty capital ship. With the Harmony in dock we are lacking heavy firepower we need to keep the Navy at bay. As most of our smaller ships are in repairs and spread out we really need to hurry and get this going.
I will have ships move out to acquire what we are able to and we will request from our allies what we cannnot. You'll be able to keep track of shipping progresses here.
Please begin construction as soon as deliveries arrive.

Liberty ships are modular in design and consistent with most of the conventions of DSE manufacture, which, whilst constructed to an incredibly high standard, is simple to disassemble in any reasonably scaled wet-dock. The difficulty is in the innumerable countermeasures each dreadnaught contains to prevent reverse engineering, commandeering, or defection. They are flying sabotage devices - one of the prime reasons why the Gauls have not yet mastered deuterium-hydrogen fusion yet despite Libertonian warship losses.
The difficulty is not in the design, but in the doing, Admiral.
In other news, the Arbeitsdirektor has a secondary request for you. It may require you to meet him in person.

by now, first supplies should have arrived for you to begin working on the Harmony. Please tell me if there are any problems in this regard.
I am not certain why you hold back the reason to meet but I shall meet your Direktor personally if that is what you require. Though I could prepare if I at least knew what this was about. We will arrange a place and time soon.
we're having slight troubles on gathering all those supplies in an acceptable amount of time. We're really not short on projects that tie our logistics vessels down.
Would the Unioners be able to help us out? The 6.000 units of Ablative Armor Plating as well as the 5.000 cargo units of Thorium Mox aren't that easy to come by.
But I am rather certain that your group is having access to those. Tell me if we can arrange this soon.

Guten Tag, frau Knight
My name is Stefan Morgenstern and I write on behalf of the whole der Alster Union. I do not think that we've met before, but I think it's an honor for me to get acquainted with you personally. As the other part of the High Command currently isn't able to give an answer, I was assigned to do so. Being short, our answer is "Ja".
We are ready to support our allies in any cause, moreover, it's nice to see, that you are going to return "Harmonie" to the action. I feel like Bering will be more secured with this addition to our combined fleets.
As we have already pointed, like one of the closest allies of Die Alster Union, you have a docking premission to any base belonging to Unioners, however, it would be a honour for our logistics division to get this goods for you.
Auf Wiedersehen

Guten Tag, frau Knight
We would like to let you know, that all supplies were brought to the Pacifica. However, we even overworked this contract, as our engineers found some more malfunctions in ship's systems, therefore we decided to bring additional armor plates.
The route was pretty calm, even considering the fact of Bundschsun's and Hessians activity.
We promise, that your battleship will return to the action as soon, as possible. We decided to involve our best engineers in this project, so consider this job is done.
If there is something else to be done, we are ready to help you in any matter.
Auf Wiedersehen
