Hahahahah, that post entirely.
The scan line isn't even consistant, it literally looks like you gave up with using the skew option on the lines half way through the scan path.
i was using the Fx tool for the scan. the degrees the line allowed for didnt allow to get more gradual so i decided to live with it.
Then actually write properly instead of speeding out sentences for the sake of getting a reply out there, then maybe people will understand quarter of the things you try to say. There's no way you 'cant do an angle' if you were actually doing it by hand, whereas in this, you imply you're using a tool to do it. Either that or you're just lazy, or didnt even have a reference line.
either way, generic skinny 'hot xd sexy' lady gets bland very quickly

lol it's not being lazy. i just used a different way to do it. The bar took me a few hours to make with a lot of patience....
why are you suggesting I am lazy for not doing something perfect the first time. I'm trying different methods.
I used PS to do it so... I went to Layer Styles and then Gradient Overlay. Made a custom overlay and started moving it bit by bit with each frame ... like 220 frames.
I knew there was going to be perspective in mind. I tried to account for it by using the circle/angle to adjust the direction of the overlay but it wouldnt let me do an angle between those 2 angles that you see. The result is a little jolt.
It that's the only thing that triggers you in the aesthetics, then im fine with that. Ill probably try the other way by making a line with the color and then trying to use layer styles to have the same effect.
I might even try to mask the jolt by making a glitch effect. dunno.
There. that's the technical explanation. Stop being so angry.
To be fair, I imagine it very easy for people in an at least 1000 years distant future setting to be able to, you know, get up in the morning, have a nice healthy breakfast, shower, shave and style and not wear random second hand clothes while flying a ship worth millions of credits. And in a high-tech future people probably don't have to rely on smartphone camera pictures infront of the cabinet mirror or in the bathroom, with greasy smears and poop stains on the toilet. Like, today you can have pimples in your face, rosacea, folds, craters and just cover it with simple make-up or even only a filter. And they probably don't take selfies with weirdly angled lenses in their devices. Hell, I'm actually surprised that only so many characters ever mention service robots in their possession. If you look at how far japan, america and some european countries are in terms of robotics, I imagine them as an everyday thing and like any normal person I'd prefer another person to take a professional picture of me instead of me blindly trying in ten attempts to get distance, angle, perspective and facial expression right.
Space is also not the place for physically limited people, especially not in military factions, and anything that isn't combat-viable is rarely played in Discovery. There are only few engineers, doctors, scientists, businessmen or truckers that have a serious RP presence. I took people of all kinds for the Apahanta's crew roster and play them every now and then when we have a scene on the Mako. But otherwise, in Discovery you either play characters with actors as reference or don't get taken seriously when you pop up with a fat Rogue Overlady.
I don't think animations of humans like that don't work well outside of Harry Potter newsletters. I'd reduce it to one frame, one good shot of her, and rework the scanlines. Maybe just remove the angle and or do every single frame first without perspective and then later add the perspective, that's how I'd do it. On the other hand, I wouldn't add that kind of perspective, as I personally think such things wouldn't be displayed in a non square-shaped way on a monitor. Same issue as with Xalo Nunes T-bar, or the extremely weird IMG T-bars.
