Hi, hope this is right feedback thread because it seems to be quite dead
Anyway, I wanted to ask - since when unofficial .Salad faction member is superior of official BPA) faction member? It was quite surprise for me to see that during the "hostages/slaves situation" last night in New London.
Hi Bethlem and Bow Street here, It was just some Good cop/Bad cop RP we were doing with me as the Good Cop. Thanks for the fun, hostage negotiations can be very cool.

I got a location of Manchester-Leeds jump hole from NPC when a made stop for nice not much legal cargo on not much lawful base, so captain decided to try safer way this time But even with that, I almost bumped into two .Salads again when they were going after that Corsair cruiser in New London
Hey guys, it's good to see you active and I had some enjoyable encounters with you guys and also your salads in the past and present.
There is one small thing that frustrates me a bit. Every time I get near your guys in a Titan, they dock up or hug bases silently; but today I met your guys, I'm alone and in a Battleship and lo and behold, 3 BPA) bomber jumps in to assist an indie Dunkirk and another guy in a bomber. I knew I wasn't going to leave the scene alive, but you could at least have let me rough up the Dunkirk and the bomber before nova-spamming me to death or something, to make a somewhat enjoyable battle out of it?
It sometimes feels like it is about "winning" or "losing" for your guys, and I understand that is the direction the server is heading in, but I still expected more from an old official faction like BPA).
you commanded a Corsair Murmillo into our space and you showed an agressive behaviour towards Bretonian civilians. A brave HMS captain was ready to risk the lifes of his crew to defend the civilians.
What did you expect from BPA to do in that situation? Wait untill you could destroy one of her majesty's ships and kill some civilians? *coughs* I really doubt you would have been able to destroy it anyways.
You now ask us we should wait to gurantee you a pleasant attack? Bad joke .....
Well sure, if I had jumped a poor HMS out of the blue and you stumbled upon the scene I would fully agree with your sentiment, but you did seem an awful lot like you logged for the occasion
And as you know, all I was doing was chatting to the security bloke because he showed up on my scanner the moment I undocked from the super secret gaian base 14K away, you fired the first shots and you waited to do so until your forces were so overwhelming it was a no contest. "Smart" from a strategic point of view, but if we all play "smart" all the time, this place will soon be a very hostile and unenjoyable place to play, and I believe as an official faction you have a special obligation in that regard.
That is my general point, don't unlog when you see a Titan and log in numbers when you see a Murm, do it the other way around - I would have rather fought you lot in a Titan (as I offered in game) instead of a fight with 0 percent chance of success or fun (or challenge for you, for that matter).

Thank you for your time.
We have been fair with you in the past.
Last week Mr.Smith and I (Waldorf Salad) found you in New London near the Planet (we were in Bombers and you were in your Battleship). After talking with you we agreed to escorted you out of Bretonia. No shots were fired at that point. Once we were past Cardiff in Cambridge we saw another Corsair Battleship heading in the wrong direction and so we left you to carry on. We were happy to not fire shots as neither of use are that good at PvP and we enjoy the RP more.
We then tried questioning this other BS and he said he was going to New London. We told him that we couldn't allow that and he carried on. This left us no option but to shoot at him. A few minutes later you came back in your Battleship and engaged us. This then was 2 Corsair Battleships vs 2 Bombers. We eventually withdrew because it was very one-sided. I can't remember either of us complaining about it on the Forums or via a pm.
Over the last couple of days you have wandered in to Manchester, yet again on your Battleship, and pirated BMF Hegemons and, from what I hear, killed at least one of them. Yet again I don't know if anybody has complained about it.
Today, I get the call whilst I was on my BPA Bomber that a Corsair Battleship was in Manchester and threatening the BMF Base there. I had to re-log as I was experiencing some lag. Smith went off without me to Manchester. Once I logged I headed there to find you in a fight with a BAF IDed Indy Battleship, Smith and 1 other who it turns out was a BMF Security Ship. As Police I engaged you and shortly afterwards you were destroyed. So in fact there were only 2 BPA Bombers, 1 Indy BMF (not sure what he was flying) and an Indy Battleship.
I didn't check to see your armaments vs the BAF Indy so I don't know who had the better Armour. You seem a very competent Cap Ship Pilot, after our original fight in Cambridge, and so I wasn't going to give you a chance to kill the Bretonian BS first, if you could, and then possibly kill us.
It was nothing personal and as you seemed happy to pile in on two Bombers with 2 Battleships I didn't see a problem with it.
As for docking or Base hugging every time you appear in your Titan, I have no recollection of this. It may be purely coincidence, I don't know. As I have said I am not much of a PvPer but I have fought the Reavers, GRN, Corsairs (Official and Indy) and I do believe my record is no kills to mostly losses and some running away.
So, I am sorry that you feel aggrieved but we are all guilty of the 'ganking' in one shape or another.

It turned into a 2 v 2 after I turned around to help the other guy, we were in fat slow battleships without disruptors, my ship had no flaks and you had novas. I didn't have an armor upgrade, not even an AU8, and the other dude was low on B/B from the two of you hammering him. You could (should?) have won that fight, we didn't give chase and retreated back to the Omegas as soon as we were able to. What is this fuzz about battleships, don't you think you would have been worse off if your two ducks faced two Titans?

Of course nobody complained, it's my duty as a Corsair to be a filthy pirate, and the truth is I would have taken a jab at him sooner and maybe even gotten a shot at the other hegemon if I had been in just about any other class of ship in the game. Again, you seem to have a particular issue with the ship being a BS, am I correct?

It was the other way round, I undock from Holmfirth and see the miner I mortared on my scanner 14K away, I insult him a little, gets the two bases shield bubbles up, and then I get threatened by the security guy. I am not at all complaining about the roleplay or "realism", I am only complaining about fairplay.

That's fair and maybe I am old fashioned, but I like to wait until it is necessary before I jump in to save my buddies and not right from the get-go (EDIT: Unless it's a raid-like situation). I think that Dunkirk and the security bomber stood a good chance of winning 2 vs 1.

Of course I was happy with that, my objective was to secure the damaged murm and retreat safely to Corsair space, and your objective was to destroy one or both of us, or keep us pinned until reinforcements could arrive if you couldn't kill one of us yourselves. Both sides had their chance at success, unlike today.
EDIT:

Maybe it is just coincidences, but it has happened a few times. I don't know who you are, but even the other day Mr. Smith was at that base, and even the two Tremonts defending the base had to comment on how quiet and docile the officer was, not jumping in to assist them or responding to my oafish taunts before docking up; which makes it even more frustrating to meet you at full force in a manner such as today.
tl;dr: I like your faction and activity, I just think you see a "red flag"/"gank-alert" when you see a BS and maybe you should chill a little on that, as there are plenty of HMS'ers around dying to see some action that can provide an enjoyable fight for both parties.
