The Phantoms deploy the "Asuras" antimatter cannon when they want to make an unforgettable statement written in devastation. Designed to obliterate armor plating in a single blast, the cannon strips the shields off of even battleships, and rips open massive holes in their hulls. Crews that have witnessed the effects of an "Asuras" blast are reported to have been found suffering the psychological effects of the sight for weeks later. Not content to merely destroy their enemies physically, the Phantoms appear to have somehow engineered the cannon so that its impact emits a shockwave that becomes a psychologically debilitating screech when it reverberates through the hulls of vessels near the blast radius.
