Dijon is the largest space colony in Burgundy. Built in 709-714 A.S., it houses more than a thousand civilians. Shortly after the Second Gallic War began, the station was heavily fortified to counter potential Council assaults that were soon to follow. The war made it tougher to find freelance jobs that many locals relied on to earn their living, forcing them to emigrate back into the core systems of Gallia, and for a time the many decks of the station were deserted. Dijons population is currently increasing again, as commerce through Burgundy is increasing now that the Council threat is largely subdued.
