Valerik "Ghost Reaver" Yanovski, (born March 13th, 791 A.S.) is a former Red Hessian who decided to abandon the Rheinland revolutionary front in order to pursue his personal goals. He is also the brother of Kirill "Rheinland Rebel" Yanovski, a Lieutenant in the Red Hessian Army.

History

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." That was all well and good but unfortunately that future meant more about destruction and vandalism for Valerik Yanovski. A short man with a short temper. There were only two places you could find Valerik at, either at the pub during one of his long drinking sessions or in space flying about shooting things for laughs whilst trying to cover it all up with a "mission from the Hessians." He got himself more times into trouble than the amount of vodka glasses he emptied. Valerik always blamed the other side for being the trouble makers, being known for his short figure, he often served as a walking comedy show for many. Which always ended up the same way, Valerik desperately trying to defend his pride, would go up against three possible even four large men. If he was lucky he would perhaps manage to bring down one of them and regardless of the inevitable outcome, which was Valerik being beaten to a pulp, he would feel victorious, because he stood up for himself.

Kirill Yanovski which was Valerik's brother would often help him out during the worst kinds of troubles, those that actually could lead to Valerik being exiled from the Hessians and thus jeopardize losing his so-called "home". But that was always the main problem with Valerik, even though he was born and raised in Vogtland base, even though all his childhood friends were of Rheinland descendent and even though he fought for Hessian ideologies, he never felt he really belonged there. Something, deep within his mind always seemed to trick him, make him believe that the Yanovski family came from another region in Sirius. That would certainly give answers to why he never was able to meet his own parents or why his name was so strange and unfamiliar in comparison to other Hessians.

Ironically it was finally Valerik himself who decided to abandon the Hessians rather than being thrown out by force from the leading members. A decision he had to make in order to discover his family history but more importantly, himself. But reality caught up with his spontaneous quest and Valerik was in need of money, badly. Mercenary seemed like the optimal choice, he was allowed to kill people and get payed for it, an excellent combination for this little yet big maniac.

Where the Red Hessians saw failure, David "Copper Reaver" Chambers saw potential. Valerik, now more known as Ghost Reaver was shortly thereafter recruited into the Reaver Mercenary Company.

Personality

Ghost Reaver is known for being a fierce combat-pilot, but behind all that talent is a short man with a short temper. He is very sensitive about his height and will almost always recklessly assault anyone who makes fun of him for it. Ghost is also one of the only two Reavers who is not just a Mercenary for the money it offers.

His motto is: "Nothing personal, just business. Okay it's personal."

Current Business

The Reaver Mercenary Company began their rise to fame under the employment of the Corsairs which also surrounded the destruction of the Red Hessians. Ghost was initially very against this job for the fear of being responsible for his brother's death. However he then reminded himself of how badly the rest of the Red Hessians treated him and wouldn't mind killing every single one of them. The risk that came with his decision to hunt down Red Hessians with the off-chance of it being his own brother made him develop a form of war-cry which he shouts before attacking an opponent; "Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear."
