The Goodman family dates back to the year 19 A.S. when the Bretonia made land fall on Planet New London during the first century. Having the majority of the family move to the Cambridge system during the second century when farmers were needed. The Goodman family has had a proud history of serving the Kingdom as Constables and Officers of both the Bretonian Police Authority and the Bretonian Armed Forces.

Multiple members of the family have been knighted for various reasons, thus making this family of noble birth. The Goodman family owns a pretty large ranch in their name, which has been handed down from generation to generation. Current holder of the Ranch is Austin Rodney Goodman.

Every member of the Goodman family holds nobility in their blood line, though throughout the years, they've hidden away this fact and have became known as one of the most wealthiest Commoner families on Cambridge. Only the members of the Goodman family, up until the death of James William Goodman, the father of Austin Rodney Goodman, have known about this family secret, until one day Austin's uncle, Regis Allen Goodman the Fifth, told him about his families Nobility.
