Heinrich Kessler is best known for being the original founder of the ambitious Red Hessian Army group, which has since assumed a leadership position within the Red Hessian movement and further established itself as one of its best known entities. Kessler was also a highly decorated Red Hessian admiral, being one of a small number of individuals upon which this rank was bestowed. Serving the Red Hessians since before the Nomad War, Kessler was nothing short of a legend within the movement, even more so after his death from battle injuries in 815 A.S. In 816 A.S. (exactly one year after his death) the Red Hessian Revolutionary Council officially declared the 5th of December each year as a Hessian holiday of remembrance.
