Matilda Brown, B.S., M.S., M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D. is a Theoretical and Practical Physicist, with a background in Chemistry. She has been involved in many successful research projects, helping create military-grade prototypes for both Rheinland, Liberty, and groups such as the Hellfire Legion, Red Hessians and Unioners. Matilda has been known to adhere to routine, lacking advanced social skills preventing her from bonding well with others, she is known to be particularly vocal about her own superior intellect when provoked. It has been speculated that Matilda's personality traits are consistent with a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome and/or obsessive–compulsive personality disorder.
Despite her intellectual background, Matilda is a well trained pilot, qualifying as an ace combatant at the age of 22 after only three years of fighter training and due to her often dangerous exploits, she undertook martial arts and firearms training as well.
