Pocket Carrier

A pocket carrier is nothing else than a gunship with one or more mooring fixtures, allowing to carry fighters or even bombers into battle, outside of the ship's hull, but within a niche or pocket. In case of an attack, the moored vessel usually undocks and assists the mothership, since it would be defenseless when docked. But it is also possible to extend the shield bubble of the gunship to protect a docked vessel.
