Tharog Frosthearth is a Libertonian, born in 788 A.S.. He is a rebel icon famous for his work with the radio station Hell FM, which started as a Hellfire Legion propaganda project. Before that he gained infamy when he was declared rogue by the Liberty authorities. After a some time in prison, Tharog was recently released and rejoined the Hellfire Legion as a major.

Biography

Planet Houston, Texas, Liberty. It's there that in 788 A.S. Tharog is born. His father was a policeman who worked on the planet his mother was a former employee of Orbital Spa & Cruise who had worked on board a Luxury Liner. She retired from that job after she met her husband. Since not only his father, but his grandfather as well are police officers, he was destined to become one too. When he was 8 years old, they moved to Los Angeles. When he was 12 the Nomad Wars began. The news about it was scarce of course, but he wondered what was going on thus the more. After the Nomad War life returned to normal again, at least so it seemed, but when he and his parents were on their way to Planet Curacao for a vacation their transport was intercepted by pirates. The LPI came to help, but by the time they arrived, Tharog's parents were in critical condition, though not merely because of the attack (it were pirates and not terrorists afterall). Tharog was a late child and his parents were already getting old, tey would have survived the attack, but their health wasn't the best anymore. They passed away in a hospital two weeks later. When he returned, he went on to live with his grandparents and he soon took a job. He surprisingly didn't join the LPI, but instead became a pilot for the Secondary Fleet. His life passed slowly, and then the war with Rheinland began, during the war he got in possession of the gunboat LNS Kiss Of Liberty, with which he then continued to fight the Rheinland threat. It was not long after he got the Kiss, when he met Mark Brown, at that time Chief Inspector of the Liberty Customs and Border Police Force. Mark said that they needed a capable captain at the LCBO and Tharog took up the offer, his ship was renamed the Frozen Star. In a short time he made it to the rank of superintendent making him one of the top guys of the small police branch.

His life got turned upside down however after he had fallen in love with a Liberty Rogue called Alexis Glover. This wasn't taken very well by his old colleagues and, while he managed to keep it a secret for some time, as soon as it was found out he was declared rogue by the LSF. After escaping Liberty with the help of some of his close friends and staying with the Zoners on Planet Gran Canaria for a while, he returned to Liberty and eventually joined up with the Hellfire Legion. While he wasn't the best in battles his work with the radio station 'Hell FM' made him a valuable asset for the Legion and a nightmare for the Liberty lawfuls.

The odd Tharog changed after he joined the Legion. Once a proud upholder of the law, he now became dedicated to bringing down the government, the Liberty Navy and the LSF. As a DJ for Hell FM he spread the word about all that in his eyes was wrong in Liberty. He confronted his former colleagues with it and tried to convince the population to support the Legion.

Still idealistic as he always was, his more peaceful approach earned him the rank of Fleet Admiral and a place in Hellfire High Command. However his peaceful ways also alienated him from the Legion and on the 9th of May, 819 A.S. he officially resigned from his position in the Hellfire Legion. Tired of the bloodshed he took of with the Hell FM vessel and became an associate of McDowell's Company Fleet in order to continue his peaceful efforts to down the government with McDowell providing some safety and shelter. He formed a political party, the Libertonian Party for Freedom and Equality, to peacefully and legally change the way Liberty worked.

Not long after the start of his political campaign, Tharog got arrested. He was accused of a long list of charges (see Criminal record), miraculously got out with a sentence of only a year and a half in prison due to a lack of evidence. It is speculated that he had friends and sympathizing insiders help him by destroying evidence or in some other way. Realizing that legal, peaceful campaigning was a no-go, he returned to the Hellfire Legion to serve as a major there. Some were left to wonder why he did not take back his old position as a fleet admiral. While the exact reasons are not known it is speculated that some parts of the Legion's leadership have never forgiven him for his earlier resignation. Others believe he simply feels more comfortable amongst the rank and file.

Tharog & company

These are the people Tharog has a special relation with and who he considers to be his main allies.

Veera 'V' Allen deceased

A young girl, who befriended Tharog and when her boyfriend died, got a great deal of support from Tharog. He let her live in his house on Planet Los Angeles and from that moment on they became brother and sister. When Tharog had to flee Liberty, she went with him and showed him Planet Gran Canaria. Tharog always called her 'V'.

Alexis Glover

A Liberty Rogue and Tharog's ex-girlfriend. When he first met her he was supposed to just carry out his duty as an LCBO agent, however when she did not show hostilities towards him like pirates normally do, he became interested in her. Eventually they fell in love and got engaged. After he joined the Hellfire Legion they started to become distant and their relationship came to an end.

Alice

Alice appeared to be a super intelligent, human-like, AI girl who became a friend of Tharog, however he only discovered her true powers shortly before he went rogue. She controls fleets of multiple ships at once and can produce new vessels as well. She helped him to get out of Liberty when he was declared rogue and since then he views her as a very good friend.

Aigis

While at first this seemed an AI girl as well, this actually appeared to be more like a ghost. Tharog is quite close with her, though they haven't seen her for some time. According to Alice, the Virulian Enclave has given her a real body.

Remus Sius

An old friend of Tharog from back when he was still in the navy. While he normally shoots any navy officer he comes across, or at least any male officers, with Remus he rather has a good conversation instead. Remus also brought Tharog in contact with Evangeline McDowell who's company fleet Tharog became an associate of.

Criminal record

For a peaceful man, Tharog has gotten quite an impressive list of crimes of which he was accused, but he was declared guilty of only a few minor ones.
