/me waves.

For the uninitiated, I'm a huge nerd.

I also do things occasionally.

Check the forums for any fun shenanigans I'm pulling as THP.

THP-219 Itinerant-class Mobile Shipyard

WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT PLANETARY LANDING

The Mobile Shipyard is an attempt to circumvent the problem of "Repair Ships are quite fragile" by modifying a Bustard chassis to have a repair capacity. With a superior power grid to handle heavier weapons compared to regular Bustards, it is no slouch at firing salvos, but the less said about its maneuverability, or lack thereof, the better. Its sheer size precludes it from using Human Jump Gates, but it can slip through Trade Lanes easily enough should the need arise.

The Mobile Shipyard, unlike the Bustard, is capable of manufacturing ships in the field when provided with the materials to do so.

Exo note: A capital ship with repair capability, and 8 Heavy BS Turrets and only 8 Heavy BS Turrets? Well, it's unique for sure, but I'm just ripping the Shipyard "rings" and slapping them on its sides, then just arbitrarily hardpointing two of those Repair Arms on its sides roughly in the middle. Arcs will just suck no matter how I put it, but I will turn the final product over to the devs for them to laugh at. If the Colebrook RP goes through, I'll ask the dev team to make the ship available for sale on the planet there.

Narrow-minded ambition is far too great.
