Synopsis
 +
The Kusari Exiles are a group of Imperial Navy Remnants left over after the sudden interruption in the war between Bretonia and Kusari, forcing the Navy cut off from Kusari.
 +

 +
History
 +
When the new Kusari government withdrew their combat forces from the Taus, a significant force was trapped behind the Gallic lines. As their desperation grew, the Kusari remnants looked for a leader. The former Kusari Emperor, who had been trapped in Bretonia at the beginning of the Gallic war stepped to the front and took command of the KNF forces trapped in Bretonia. Under the Emperor’s command, these forces, now referring to themselves as the Ronin, are small in numbers, comprising some 5 battleships, 10 Destroyers and 25 Gunboats and a handful of fighter and bomber wings. While they don't pose a serious threat to Gallic forces in Tau-31, they have a potential to become an important part of Bretonia's defense during the forthcoming war.
 +

 +
The Exiles fight heroic at Bretonia's side when the Royal Navy attacks and occupide Leeds. While this time the Yamaguchi got under havy attack, but they was still able to leave the system and entered Newcastle, before the Jump Gate was killed. The Council found the Exiles their and offer them repairing for the Yamaguchi and safe way home over their system Roussillon. The Yamaguchi is still their to be repaired, but the Nagasaki has still moved on and can be found in Tau-29 now, where they are attacked by the Republic of Kusari, the new Gallic frindly puppet government of Kusari who dislike the Exiles because of their war against the Royals.

All players start with a generic Freelancer ID, which is a basic ID. Faction IDs are sold in some or at least one of the bases belonging to the faction it represents. Generic IDs are sold throughout all of Sirius, mostly on civilian hubs as well as Zoner bases. A Faction ID is Discovery's primary means determining to which faction a player belongs. A Generic ID represents a character not aligning himself to a specific NPC Factions. Terrorist and other restricted IDs can only be given to you by admins.

It is important that your reputation sheet (and your IFF, should you opt to display one) matches your ID.

ID also serves as a tractor beam, so without it player cannot tractor in loot. Special care needs to be taken that you don't lose your ID while acquiring a new ship. IDs are not automatically transferred to the new ship upon purchase. IDs are closely related to many of the server rules, so a good understanding of their concept is crucial.

Furthermore, IDs will affect the power output of your ship as defined in the equipment tech chart and ship tech chart.

Rules and details on IDs may not be accurate on Single Player mode, or consistent between servers. Ensure you read the rules and restrictions on your ID while online on the server you wish to use the ID on.
