Marketplace Regulations - Tunicle

Marketplace is a section for buying, selling or trading used Player Owned Bases (POBs), ships and equipment. Roleplay is -not- mandatory in this section, and to make it easier to use, a few regulations are put in place:
  1. First and foremost, make sure to pick the proper sub-forum for your thread.

  2. Make sure the title you pick clearly states the purpose of your thread, whether you're buying, selling or looking to trade ships/equipment. The following is the already established format for thread titles in this section:
    • Using [Selling] tag for sale threads
    • Using [Wanted] tag for request threads
    • Using [Trade] tag in case you're looking for a trade
The only exception to this are equipment shop and shipyard threads which are either involved in both buying and selling ships/equipment or are permanent threads and should not be closed. These threads do not require a tag, but have to be clearly marked as a shop in their thread name.

  3. If you decide to use Wiki images in your post, keep the 700px maximum allowed width of embedded images on forums in mind and use the thumbnail version of the images, rather than the original size renders.

  4. If and when the thread is no longer needed, make sure it's clearly specified in the title. One option would be completely removing the thread title and replacing it with --- or alternatively, changing the thread tag to [Closed] so the forum staff would have an easier time locating and removing the closed thread, to make rest of the threads easier to find.

  5. To avoid wasting time on forum when you could be in game all normal threads have an approximate 1 month lifespan. Dealer/shop threads have 3 months. If you wish to keep visible use them or bump them. Threads will be made invisible but can be made visible later upon request.
In the end, to quote someone wiser than myself on this one last point:
