SRP APPLICATION FORM:

1. Your forum name:
Liberty Security Force

2. Provide the exact name of the character. It should exist already, so put the $500 Mill on it and we will take it:
=LSF=Freedom

3. What exactly are you requesting:
The Liberty Security Force's Flagship and Mobile HQ:
Special Operative ID
LSF IFF
Liberty Carrier
Assorted Guns, JD4, Spyglass Scanner, CAU8
(The request is for the ID specifically, the rest we can get by ourselves if needed. They are here just so you know exactly what is we're aiming for. Also, in order to make the next key event work as planned quickly, it would be nice if at least the JD4 was given to us along with the ship and ID.)

4. Is this a request for Spec Ops ID, Terrorist ID, or some other ID:
Spec Ops ID

5. Why are you requesting it:
On Vanilla, LSF had dreads according to in-game chatter and they developed the Osiris, what meant that if they didn't used Battleships frequently, they had need for it enough to develop a special cloaking prototype. Altough the LSF moved away from big ships after the Osiris was stolen, the War with Rheinland and the increased pirate activities such as Outcast cap ships incursions have brought the matter of a LSF Capital Ship to question again. The Navy is involved with the War, so requesting a battleship for dangerous ops where it is needed for any reason becomes draining. With the increased Gallic threat (and even bigger planned ones) and the problems in Bretonia, Liberty is slowly being surrounded by hostile forces, and the LSF needs a Battleship to serve as it's mobile HQ without taking Navy's ships away from their duties. (not to mention the breach of security by having to announce black ops to Navy everytime the LSF needs a BS)

It makes sense for us to have at least one Capital Ship, but as a primarily intelligence force, we can't spam it (nor our focus is to PvP with it). We only need one to be the LSF Flagship and Mobile HQ for the Department of Homeland Security, where we can use it and plan operations without depending on the Navy when bigger guns are needed. A carrier would therefore gives us the mobility for tactical operations with it's jump drive 4 and ability to carry docked fighters and the survivability to get in and out of alive.

Also, it's a Carrier cause a Dread is more offensively focused, and we want it for RP and covert (and sometimes overt) operations and special RP events.

6. What are you going to do with it:
The Carrier will serve as the Department of Homeland Security HQ on events in Liberty and a Mobile Operations Center when out of Liberty and/or on missions. Operations include Raids, Deep space reconaissance, Intelligence Gathering and assorted LSF operations.

(Example: we are bringing back one our older characters, Agent Perry, for one major RP plot on the works, and she is stuck in Gallia. In order to go there, we have to go through several jumpholes, which compared to a stealth jump to and back, is much more overt, dangerous, and unconfidential)

7. Provide a link to your relevant forum stuff:
Agent Perry's Rescue

=LSF= Base and part of the new "Plan of Defense of Homeland Security" along with the Carrier

Also, we are participating on the KNF major plot about an infected admiral, and the final planned op will take place in an away system and we would assisti the KNF rebels with our carrier (and take our snubs there). However, since it's the end of the plot and will take a couple of months to come to fruition, we don't have forum posts about it yet.

8. How long has this character been building the backstory IN GAME?:
3 to 4 months. Been gaining more traction last 2 months (and even more so after the change in hierarchy).

9. Provide me with a cliffnote/summary for what you just linked us to:
"Years ago, the LSF engineered a special Dreadnaught that came to be known as the Osiris. After the theft of the Ship by Order operatives during the onset of the Nomad War, the LSF began to keep their distance from big ships, relying on the Navy to fulfill that role.
When the War with Rheinland began, it posed new logistical problems, and the LSF found itself between a rock and a hard place: asking for the Navy's very busy battleships to execute operations or going in without them and risking complete failure. Lately, with the escalating threat from Gallia and intelligence reports of increased activity all around the Republic, the Liberty Security Force has found itself in need of someting more powerful. Therefore, the Department of Homeland Security has ordered the construction of a new Battleship to serve as the LSF's mobile base of operation, allowing it to run operations in deeper and more dangerous territories without using valuable Navy assets."

10. Tell me why you need this to carry on with your life:
I don't. The LSF and Liberty just might.

11. If you feel that you would like to provide us with character references, specify whom:

Jason Booth: Director of DHS, he is the one pushing for the ship the most. He served on the Navy for 6 years, so he knows how Battleships work and their worth. He also spearheaded the revamp of the LSF organization.

Chris Hart: Navy before joining the LSF, he served as a bridge officer on the LNS-Colorado and was a Flight Officer -- specialist on Jump Drive operation

Adrienne Perry: Veteran LSF agent, stuck in Gallia and needs to be rescued. The BS plays a critical role on her rescue and she plays a critical role in future LSF planned events.

12. If you screw up we may snatch your toy away in any manner that we see fit. Capiche?
Capisco.
Approved. Contact an administrator to get the ship set up.

Remember: No unmounting of the ID or transferring it to another ship.
