I was on my way to pick up some equipment and then go off duty when I recieved a distress call from LSF-Silverwolf out at Zone-21. As I approched the area there were several targets. An artifact smuggler with escort (didn't catch the names) and an Outcast gunboat Basilisk. All targets were out of range by the time I arrived. I joined in the pursuit of the GB with the Cruiser-Prometheus but he managed to slip away. I returned to my previous heading without further incident.

Due to disobeying direct orders given by two commanding admirals of the Liberty Navy, forging false recognition papers, deceiving other officers and above all, commandeering a Liberty Dreadnought without authorization, rank or experience, the LNS-Ithaca is hereby banned from Liberty and is to be destroyed on sight. Be aware that the dreadnought is extremely well armed and its captain seems to not stop at any line in achieving command of this vessel. All Liberty forces are hereby under orders to destroy the said dreadnought and if possible arrest its captain to be put to trial, if not, lethal force is authorized.

-Started patrol at New York, quickly got an incoming comm transmission from a *DW-Apache* BHG Gunboat of a smuggler by the name of AceOfSpades smuggling Cardimine into Houston. Upon arrival at Planet Houston, the smuggler had fled to Hamburg, and shortly after, dropped off my scope. Keep an eye out for this guy.

-While maintaining orbit above Houston, I recieved a comm transmission from a Rheinland trader named Von_Claussen_Jr. who was hauling engine components to Magellan. I cleared him passage since he promised to keep his stay in Liberty very short.
Soon after I recieved a distress call from him near the NY Jump Gate -> Planet Houston trade lane. I docked with the trade lane immediately, but before I made it, the trader was destroyed by an Outcast (Gliesenau I believe) piloting a Lane Hacker Gunboat. Being heavily outgunned in my standard issue Liberator, I made a hasty retreat and called in the previously mentioned Hunter Apache. Waiting for them to arrive, an IMG vessel titled Warspite offered to take care of the troublemaker. He took off down the trade lane and the Outcast fled into a nearby debris field. The IMG vessel, not giving chase, jumped to New York about the time the DW-Apache made it to Texas.
We proceeded to scan the debris field for awhile, before Apache discovered him jumping to NY via a jump hole. Taking the risk, we followed suit and proceeded into the rift. It was a bit of a rougher ride than its safely constructed counterpart, but we arrived more-or-less in one piece in the New York Badlands. Making a precarious scan of our position, we found no trace of him.
We called off the search and parted ways, only to join up a few minutes later when I was knocked out of a trade lane by our fugitive. I hung back and the Apache appeared within moments, as well as a Liberty Gunboat flown by a military officer named Bean. We then found ourselves in, most likely, the longest chase of our lives. Our quandry proceeded to cruise at a diagonal axis above Manhatten after my CD missed it's mark. We gave chase so far that I couldn't even make out Manhatten from my position, and the sun grew dim. After nearly an hour of chase and 350ks of space flight, the Outcast; probably fearing the violent ion storms that lie in the outer reaches of New York space; altered his heading far enough that Apache was able to hit him with a CD. A short, but violent firefight ensued, and the Outcast Gunboat was destroyed. We then started the long flight back to civilization. I'm currently docked at Newark, where I am logging this message.
Officer Hasting out.

From: Admiral Simon Marshall
To: Navy Command

I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm resigning. That's it. Independence along with Memphis have been transfered to a different shipyard, I'm keeping them. Stop me if you like but I won't go without a fight.

Know this gentlemen: Liberty will fall. This isn't a threat. It won't fall because of me. You will bring it down yourselves. Enjoy it.

The day started out as quite a boring day. A pirate IDed YOU in a X shuttle came and pirated me, demanding 2 million credits. Of course...he didn't last long at all.

Then, a Ion storm hit, and I seeked shelter on the nearby Missouri. The storm lasted for most of my day morning shift, so I was forced to dine at the Missouri for lunch. The Synth paste is horrid there.

Anyways, I launched on my afternoon shift when I was told of a smuggler in Texas. Heading there, I came upon a rogue, IDed Vencer, and a civilian. However, the ships they had were odd, the civilian was piloting a ravens claw, and even stranger was the fact Vencer has a executioner. I engaged the rogue, and surprisingly, the civilian was working with the rogue and opened fire on me...very odd.

The civilian was quickly dispatched, and Vencer ran away with heavy damage. However, a third Lane Hacker that had joined remained. I dueled with him until a naval gunboat that was searching for a nomad arrived and he quickly fled.

Freed from that battle, I headed to NY. One of my squadron members reported one of the nomads was killed, but there was one keeper left. I engaged the keeper along with Officer Mactavish and some other fighters.

Eventually, the keeper turned to flee, but he was stopped and shot down. A DSE cleanup crew quickly came in and...well...cleaned up.

After that, I got a tip off about a smuggler in Texas. I moved to Houston in time to see this smuggler. He must have messed up my Long Range Scanner, since it displayed the following error:

The smuggler fled into a uncharted jump hole. I discontinued the pursuit and returned. On the way back, I noticed some large pieces of debris, and I charted out several large pieces. I assume that they were the remains of the Dallas station. However....among the wreckage was several storage containers...in perfect condition, as well as brand new. Possible xeno storage containers? I charted the location and returned to Houston.

After that, it was uneventful. I must say, fluid was amazing though. He managed to quickly destroy 2 hostiles and chased Onyx Wolffe away. I'll make sure to throw him a party sometime with the rest of the boys.

ID: Zoner vessel, callsign "Gemini".

This is Gemini. As many of you may know, this is a time of tension and stress between the Zoners and certain factions. The disagreements and such are taking a toll, and many Zoners are taking what you Liberty types like to call... "Vacation".

As it becomes my duty to assist my fellow Zoners, some officials of the Zoner High Council believe that now is a time to back down from the diplomatic stress, and proceed to think deeply about the situation. They wish to head to a place that can cater to their every desire, a place of relaxation and study that only a Zoner could appreciate. I speak, of course, of Manhattan.

The Zoner vessel, callsign "Gemini", must be outfitted to withstand the treacherous journey from the border worlds, filled with hideous natural phenomena and not to mention the hostile [OFFICIAL CENSOR] in the undesirable Omicrons, all the way to the heart of Sirius. It is quite a journey, and we do not wish to make the Liberty officials uneasy by pulling into Manhattan orbit with a heavily armed and armored vessel, especially uninvited and unannounced. We desire permission to move one Zoner Destroyer-class ship into Manhattan orbit, and proceed in allowing the officials their time to think and... I believe you would say, "lose themselves", in the wonders of Manhattan.

We believe this would not only help the Liberty reputation, but help too cool down the situation on the outskirts of Sirius.

BE AWARE: The Zoner ship would also be willing to assist Liberty vessels in the case of an independent pirate infestation, a terrorist, or other such hazardous situation. (It would not be possible, however, for Gemini to engage another faction, at the risk of a political incident and/or the injury or death of a High Councilor.)

We will await approval for this action. We sincerely hope you understand how this could help the greater whole of Sirius.

Thank you for your consideration.

While on patrol in the Calfornia System, witnessed a Rouge pirate named Koveras.Havarion piloting an outcast bomber attempting to pilfer a measly 100k off a passing trader. My Avenger was still stock without any upgrades but that didn't stop me from engageing. I provided cover and allowed the trader to escape while inflicting heavy damage on the Rouge. He must have though I was no threat to him until I put a few holes into his hull. Despite repeated calls for his surrender the Rouge continued to fight on. Eventually one of his shots scrambled my reactor and I was forced to eject. I spent several hours drifting until a passing transport brought me back to Los Angeles. Who do I see about the lack of search and rescue support? The day wasn't all bad though, I did manage to get a nice juicy burger from In'n Out after the debrief.

This is Willows speaking from the Norfolk Shipyard.
I'm hereby officially announcing the newest addition to our fleet, the LNS-Durango.
The Durango is the latest incarnation of the Overlord class of Dreadnoughts, very similar to the last generation vessels of this class, the Anchorage and the venerable Missouri.

The ship features the latest state-of-the-art weaponry and is constructed around a quadruple-hulled design, which incorporates heavy layered composite armor plating crafted to ensure maximum protection and stability while under fire of multiple AN-2 "Supernova" Antimatter Cannons.
We hope that the ship's presence will serve both as a warning and a reminder of the indomitable Liberty spirit to those who see it, much like the Missouri did and continues to do to date.

On a further note, the ship will be placed under my direct command, with Lieutenant Commander Curtis Elwood serving as my adjutant onboard.

Maiden Voyage shall be tomorrow evening, at 1800 SMT.
All officers not on duty are welcomed to join the festivities on Norfolk's observation deck.

Willows, signing off.

An odd day in Liberty.

The weirdness started when a zoner huntress cruiser came out of z21 laden with nomads. We opened fire. The companion of the huntress cruiser, yet another cruiser, named Jehurty came, and both opened fire. In the destruction, the LNS brooklyn was destroyed. Meanwhile, both cruisers, one zoner and oddly, one, Jerhurty, civilian, opened fire on. Luckily I survived by weaving in and out of Norfolk, avoiding their fire, and generally hiding. Soon, officer Mactavish and Captain Malaign arrived with their own bombers and we chased away both cruisers. Needing a cruise disruptor, I docked on Norfolk, where my fighter was stored, and launched in the fighter. We chased both cruisers to the California Jump Gate. Jehurty jumped, but the other cruiser, furious starscream, was trapped, and Mactavish and I pursued him. Unfortunatly, Malaign's bomber was destroyed, but a interceptor rescue team quickly picked her up and brought her out while under fire from Jehurty. After a while, Jerhury came back to New York, even after he fled from us, and re engaged. Luckily, Captain Malaign came back aboard her Battlecruiser and eventually, after a long fight, Furious starscream fell in better, cursing us.

As we turned to attack the other cruiser, a devasting Ionstrom came, and we seeked shelter on West Point. After the storm subsided, there came in reports of a nomad. I went to Fort Bush and confronted the nomad along with some allies, and eventually he was destroyed. Returning to patrols, I met a SOB. He apparently wanted one on one duel and I obliged. We duked it out with one another, but eventually his nuke caught me, and my escape pod ejected. A trader watching nearby quickly picked me up and dropped me on Norfolk. I then boarded my bomber and headed for Alaska, where a Bounty Hunter Battleship and Destroyer was reported. I found both outside Mitchell station, and after some negotiations, they left Alaska to Minor. On the way back, we had some trouble with some Nomad fleets, but they were eventually destroyed:

Then coming back from a weary adventure, whom else could pop up but the cruiser Furious Starscream!. Somehow his cruiser had come back from the dead, and laughing like a baby, he re engaged us. After a long battle, he was once again destroyed.

I write this from the Missouri as I watch the Ion storm batter the sides of the ship. A copy is being posted in my neural net. I will watch out for the cruiser pair, Furious Starscream and Jehurty.
