-Just a short report. Two Nomads ({NOMAD}???? and Scout_fighter) seen monitoring the activity in Manhatten orbit, staying barely within scanner range. I was a bit spooked myself, and I don't think I was the only one. Naval pilot Trent Heartnet seemed reluctant to engage as well.
After we both shook off the jitters, we took after them. They immediately fled towards the Badlands and we disengaged. Soon after, I started reading an Order ship on my long range scanners; most likely idling in the Badlands. The Nomads and Order pilot engaged and Scout_fighter was destroyed. At least those Order punks are good for something.

-A bit later on, in orbit around Houston, a rather brass Xeno (Jonathan Wolf, I believe) came through one of the trade lanes and immediately engaged his cruise engines in retreat. A naval gunboat orbiting the planet as well knocked him out of cruise and myself and and a bomber by the name of Doomfrost were able to knock him out of the sky with relative ease; myself landing the killing blow. I tractored in his remains and pod, dropping them off on the Huntsville. Another day, another worker.

Hasting, out.

Tonight was a a busy night.
We had several naval patrols out in space.

First of all my bomber for the bomber squadron is now 100% operational for active duty.
When i headed back from Virginia i was escorted by [LN]-Thor we got a message of a possible smuggler.
La chuak... something.
He was flying a piratevessel and was hauling contraband arthifacts.
shamly this pilot has very good cm devices aboard and managed too escape too NY.
I docked and jumped in my fighter.

After he managed too dock he loaded this:
He refused too stop and maked a run for it.

All pilots be adviced this guy wont stop and has good evasive equipment.

Than i got a signal from LT Ypsilantis that he needed help with a Xenos.
So i changed course too help him out of there.
This pilot:
He was a increddible pilot but he choose too use Baltimore for cover.
Man were those guys pissed.
Baltimore opend fire on this guy.
Not that it did any help because all navy pilots were complaining about the poor tracking those stationgunners did.

So we navy had too do it on oure own with some help of LSF.
I believe some pilots left because we had firepower enough for more urgent buisness.
Finnaly after long dodging he came behind me, think he thought of a easy target.
Man was he suprised when 3 nuke mines hit his ship in a row.
1 xenos too the killboard.
I did a quik scan but did not find a ejectionpod.

i decided too land on BS missouri because of a hydraulic leak in my steeringsystems.
Well iam gonna stay aboard until repairs on my fighter are done.

I don't remember the operational tempo being so...insane. Maybe I'm just getting old.

First off, smugglers in and out of NY all afternoon. Sadly a good number of them got through. Need to remember to get CD's before I launch. Then I joined the LSF in tracking a Nomad into the badlands. He rabbited as well. Next I responded to the Xeno ship at Baltimore. Dizzying fight that wasn't much more than accelerated target practice. I then headed out to check Zone-21 before landing when a hated Phantom was reported in the area. After a short search I found him between Manhatten and Rochester and engaged him. The Brooklyn moved to assist but the Phantom manuvered into the debris field limiting her help. I held him off as long as I could but ended up having to eject. Luckily the Brooklyn got me in before that raving lunatic could find my pod.

A figure hunches over a small desk. Sighing, he sits down.

He slowly pulls a piece of paper towards him, and picks up a pen. He always prefered writing his communiques first.

Finally, he pulls the Comm device towards him and starts reciting.

"To the Liberty High Command.

This is Doctor Howard of the Manhattan hospital centre. I am the bringer of bad news.

Earlier today, at 0900 hours, Lieutenant Commander Seth Karlo was shot down while on patrol. He automatically ejected, but something on the pod was damaged, and he was exposed to Vacuum for 3 minutes or so.

His body and brain have shut down.

He is now in a medically induced coma while we start various surgical procedures. We hope for the best, and he may recover in time, however, for the moment, he will obviously not be able to complete his regular duties.

I will keep you informed of his progress.

Yours Faithfully,

Doctor Keis Howard.

Subject: LNS-Brooklyn

Gentlemen and Ladies, I write with concern to latest Assault Frigate on the Duty Roster. It seems there is a new vessel. Designation: LNS-Brooklyn whose sole duty is to sit in Manhattan's orbit harrasing local traders, shouting over comms at them (//CAPS LOCK KING). I wonder if this ship should have been commisioned as I have severe doubts as to the commanders ability to control such a large warship. Indeed he seems to be something of a split personality as I myself witnessed the commander of this ship demand a trader drop his cargo while he himself was not onboard his CAP but was in fact aboard another trade vessel, designation: Rocky01, what the Commander of the Brooklyn was doing abord this vessel is beyond me!

To second forwarded grievances surrounding the conduct of one LNS-Brooklyn and her crew of miscreants and ASVAB wavers. Witnessing the Battlecruiser idly firing upon a nearby tradeship I inquired if the crew was perhaps bored; the returning answer was that they indeed were, followed by a salvo fired upon my own vessel. I was only able to secure a capture following the impact of the shots, much to my dismay, but hope that it's found to be evidence enough of his transgressions atop the other mounting complaints.

-Rhyme out.

Today was a good day.

It all started when I was chasing a smuggler in Colorado. I followed him for several minutes, through the Alamosa and Copperton fields. As we reached the Silverton asteroid field, my scanners began picking up multiple ships. They were Xenos, and they were looking for a fight. I contacted the other units and asked for backup. Admiral Phelps advised me to pull back, take my Avenger (docked at Missouri) and regroup so we can launch an attack on them. While on my way back to New York, I was ambushed by one of their bombers, and forced to fight. It didn't take too long before his shields went down and my supernova obliterated his ship. As I reached Missouri, I quickly got into my fighter, returned to Colorado and joined up with Admiral Phelps and recruit Howards, who were already engaged by the Xenos.

The fight lasted for a pretty long time, and more and more Xenos were coming. Hopefully after a few minutes we got reinforcements from the LSF and the LPI. At some point, Howards got into some serious trouble, getting struck by two torpedoes, but amazingly keeping his ship together. I've also provided him with some additional nanobots from my reserve, preventing any critical hull breach. We tried to cover him as much as we could from enemy fire by distracting them, and it proved to be effective. Their ships were taken down, one by one, by our skilled pilots. Teamwork was the key to this operation, as we managed to destroy all the enemy ships, with no casualties on our side. Truly a triumphant day, both for the Navy and the Security Force.

Several pictures were taken from Admiral Phelps' on-board camera, enlisted below:
