Jumping into my ship today, I undocked from Manhattan and was confronted with the sight of two xenos. I engaged both xenos, and after a long fight, they fled.

However, during the flight, I had a naval officer by the name of Jace attack me. He claimed he was part of the 522nd rogue battlegroup, but he still wore the ranks, insignias, and colors of a normal naval pilot, completely bewildering me when he attacked.



After the fight, we engaged a missile boat, and eventually it ran into the badlands, where I disengaged and let it flee, pursued by several DW and KOF pilots who apparently did not care that their electronics were being ruined by the badlands.



It seems the action would not stop. I got reports of two corsair cruisers at Manhattan, and rushing back, I saw....nothing. It appears the cruisers had left, taking someone named Zygoeths. This Zygoeths had been loitering around Manhattan, gathering data, and it is highly possible he was a corsair spy. Fairbanks later report a massive entourage escorting this spy out, stopping to lay seige to one of the stations.

Interesting enough, IC records show that Josef was a Interspace pilot. Odd, perhaps another spy?

I suggest both be arrested if they are caught in Liberty again.

Patrol today was long yet mostly uneventful. Therefore I extended my patrol, actively moving throughout New York and Texas, with Colorado thrown in for good measure. A few hours into patrol, Harvesters were reported in System (Colorado), however I chased them throughout Liberty--New York and Texas--without ever spotting them.

Later a smuggler named Tezari opened long range comms to inform me of arrival to New York.. Mentioned in a previous report, he had paid two million credits of a four million credit fine. Honorably, he came back to New York, trading consumer goods and paying off the remaining two million of the fine.

Lastly, a Xeno Guard member was spotted near Manhattan. Engaging him immediately, as I was the only pilot on active duty in the area, I was unfortunately outclassed. His Eagle handily outdid my Avenger in a turning fight, and apparently he was one of very few "Top Aces". My ship was destroyed, however I managed to eject, and thanks to a large bank supported by the family of Ryans, I have refitted a Guardian VHF and am once again ready to report for duty--wiser now as to the dangers of engaging immediately with some of the best pilots that the Xenos can offer.

Two smugglers at present. The first was detected in an Advanced Trader approaching from Rheinland with a full load of Diamonds.



He was shot down and his cargo destroyed.

The second, by the name of PunkMeOut, is currently docked in Norfolk with a full load of Artifacts. He undocked for a second attempt at escape, but unfortunately one of my CD's set off the local Lawfuls, who proceeded to engage me. One of my accomplices managed to chase him back to Norfolk. I am currently awaiting updates on the situation, once I know I will forward them to you.

Edit: By the time our search warrant was passed, he was nowhere to be found. It is believed he somehow stashed his Advanced Train and found somewhere to hole up for the night. He is a known smuggler and I advise he be added to some sort of priority list.




I realise I requested some time off last night, but I cannot lie still and silent whilst smugglers are allowed to come and go through NY as they please.
I was patrolling Liberty airspace when I received a message over the comms saying a counterfeit smuggler by the name of BadWolf was approaching Manhattan. I sent one of my accomplices to intercept. However, we found nothing on him but legal goods. Then I realised, Manhattan is a hotspot for counterfeit software purchases.
I became even more suspicious when he told me to patrol Badlands for criminals, so I used a bluff. I went down the Tradelane then doubled back after he had docked. One of my accomplices scanned him and discovered I was correct. We attempted to stop him on exiting Manhattans atmosphere but he escaped. We went into pursuit and managed to overtake him on the way to Texas. We shot out the tradelane and confronted him.


After a brief firefight, with him struggling to not only cruise out, but shoot our fighters down while disrupted, he ran out of nanobots and batteries. Realising his efforts were futile, he gave up and jettisoned his counterfeit software. Unsure of what else to do, we destroyed them and escorted him from the system.




To end my shift, we were raided by several Xenos and a rogue. They were spotted off by Manhattan, but by the time we were organised they had moved to Fort Bush. We proceeded to engage. We lost a Cruiser and a gunboat, but in the end we were victorius. I am happy to announce that it is the first battle I have been in, in which my ship has not been destroyed.
I will upload the rest of these images to the network after I have rested. I pull a rather long shift. (OOC: I need sleeeeeeeeep. Stupid feeble human mind/need for education/sleep. -.-)

Ensign Zachary Ryans reporting, may I first of all praise Valence for his promotion, an excellent choice for a Commander indeed.

Now the rough stuff, to say today was hectic would be like saying that a riot is "civil discontent",
in other words, all H*ll broke loose.
First, numerous small incursions by pirates were quickly subdued, much credit going to the LNS-Denver for his fine work in doing so.
The Kaize Soze then showed up, Order IFF, Corsair Gunboat, Pirate ID. Upon being cruise disrupted and asked of his intent, he opened fire upon my bomber immediately. After a short battle of him against I, the Denver, and two other ships he was destroyed. Hours of these small skirmishes took place, followed by a move into California to handle two Falcatas operating there.
The mission was successful-removing the two bombers, however upon return numerous pirates appeared all over Liberty, without even time to repair, ships were forced to Engage.
Ships appeared all over, an AWOL Osiris with an order tag showed up, killed one Navy pilot, and then left under my watch. I tailed him until he was 5k out.
As he left, and most of the Naval forces in the area fought a pair of Xenos, an Outcast [RoS]Gotfried showed up as well. Also, yet another pirate engaged a navy vessel at Fort Bush.
I headed to West Point and engaged the Outcast. Partway through battle, of course, a Rheinland Gunboat showed up and cut engines near the fight. He was obviously not Military, but was spouting garbage all the same. Distracted, however, the Outcast hit my ship with his Supernova round, and I was forced to eject.

Now at medical bay in West Point being treated for injuries caused by repercussion of the Nova round.

OOC: Being that I deleted all of my capital ships and have an extra 1.5 billion, I created an armory for Liberty Lawful pilots. It's stocked with everything a Liberator, Guardian, or Avenger would need. Name is Liberty-Lawful-Armory if anyone needs anything contact Ryans or Armory.

Liberty was quite busy today, however now, thanks to some handy flying and teamwork, the only busy-ness here is the lawful type.

First I must add to my report that both Light Yagami and Zygoeths, operatives of The Order, are hereby banned from Liberty space for attacking both Liberty Patrols (//npcs) and a Naval Officer-myself. They were engaged, and then ran from the system, through Zone 21, Alaska, and into Omicron Minor-where I did not follow.

As for today-I began my patrol in Texas under orders of the present Sub. Lt., and quickly ran into Big Poppa, an Outcast in a Rogue Gunboat. Upon permission to engage, I announced "Weps Free" and alerted the Bounty Hunter in the area that I was clear to engage and I entered combat. A few well-placed Supernova rounds quickly ended Big Poppa's attack, and sent him straight to the nearby prison.

I continued patrol there, but after a while I was called back to New York. Upon patrol there, I encountered Hans Solo- a trader carrying four Navy Pilots. Two other officers were on his tail and had told him to halt, both officers were flying fighters and were not perfectly equipped for taking him down effectively. He suddenly opened fire upon another Officer, and thusly we engaged! However it took only one Supernova round from my Havoc to dispatch him after both officers suppressed the targets shields.

Shortly after the destruction of Hans Solo, I headed down the tradelane from Fort Bush to Manhattan as the other two officers headed towards Norfolk. Just down the lane I encountered a Rogue VHF pilot, named Vader (irony of the two targets is noted), I was immediately given the "Weps free" command and I opened up on him. Within two passes I landed another hit with the Supernova and he was dispatched.

Thanking the Officer who had allowed me a bomber with which to use this great weapon!, I headed back out to Texas. About twenty minutes into the patrol I encountered a Heavy Tanker full of cardamine. I gave him multiple opportunities to halt, told him to drop cargo. However for five minutes he refused. When notified that within ten seconds he would be engaged if he did not drop cargo, he opened fire upon my ship. Taking evasive action, I dodged fire as a very helpful Bounty Hunter "Apache" aided me in combat. He had originally identified the Tanker as a smuggler, and much thanks--and some credits--were given to him in return. The Tanker followed the recent trend, and fell under the Supernova.

Lastly, upon returning to Manhattan, Death Eagle, a Xeno pilot, showed up. He was promptly engaged by I and Joe McIntyre, along with "Rocky" an independent Navy pilot flying a cruiser. Joe was shot down after brave fighting, and two more Officers showed up to help. The Xeno was somewhat moving away from Manhattan and we followed, however the Cruiser was too much and I had to ask him to disengage. One Navy Officer had to disengage (likely low on fuel), but I and the remaining officer finished him off.

Tired, and ready to return, I returned to West Point and I now hit the bunk.

First i had a shift of 10 hours on the bridge of the battleship too keep a eye on all rhose pilots and direct naval patrols too there destinations.
Than a squadronmember called in sick and i offered too fly his patrol so we get enough pilots in the air.

So i did his patrol first we had some saftey breaches in the naval testinggrounds.

Actually it was a easy patrol when i thought of returning too the missouri i spotted these xeno.
bloody bomber.
Had a exellent dodging skill.

He managed too get a heavy torpedo directly in my path, no change i would get my fighter trough so i pulled the ejection handle too eject.

I made it too manhattan with minor injurys.
I reported too the missouri.
There i did meet my squadronmate he was furious because i blew up his fighter.
Well the missourri will give him a new one.

Tommorrow i will fly my normal patrol.

Zachary Ryans reporting in, patrol today was short but very sweet indeed. Forty-five minutes of patrol resulted in two kills for my Havoc, raising its total this week to ten. Gunboats "Big Poppa" and "You", were dispatched with aid from the police pilot Fluid and a hired gun named Black Force 1.
Another successful defense of Liberty!
