----Submitting Data Report----
Congratulations to all of you. It's wonderful to see so many talented officers.
On the subject of my report, ahh...where to start?
Launching today, I found New York quiet. I was just starting a quick sweep when suddenly I was alerted about three pirates disrupting traffic on the West Point to Manhattan Line, so I quickly headed there. Heading to the scene, I came upon a rogue gunboat, a Falcata bomber, and a Sabre. The bomber was quickly destroyed, and the gunboat soon after. The Sabre, seeing his allies fall, ran. We chased him until he eventually stop and fought back. Needless to say, he did not last long.
Then, we received reports of multiple bogeys in Alaska, so we headed there. Jumping into the system, my long range scanners picked up a intruder, a Order pilot. Me and Lt. Ryans pursued the Order, while Chris Ortega dealt with a Cruise Liner in the system. The Order pilot reached the minor jump hole, and sensing my chance, I quickly took some evidence. However, while I was busy taking evidence, the Order Osiris, quickly stopped it's jump sequence and opened fire, completely surprising me, and I had no chance to dodge. My ship was destroyed and I ejected, and the dishonorable pilot jumped before Ryans could take him out.
And I thought the Order was trying to negotiate a peace, but their warships come into our Alaska and destroy naval pilots and hired bounty hunters?
Ryans took me back to Norfolk, where I was supplied with another ship, and I hurtled off to help Chris with the escaping Luxury Liner, which had left Alaska and was running from z21.
I quickly came to pursue him, and oddly, the Cruise Liner was licensed to a pirate...though it ran under a police identity. We chased him into the badlands, then breaking off before going deep. Oddly, the Liner returned, making a beeline towards Texas. Once again we intercepted him, and he ran off again. Meanwhile, a Lane Hacker Gunship arrived, and Ryans and I engaged, managing to cause severe damage to him before he fled into the badlands.
Finally, the system calmed down. I retired to my home on Manhattan, to tend to some paperwork. More bills for a new ship. Great.
