Comm ID: Recruit Leonardo Tigre
Subject: First day on "patrol"

I just don't know how to explain the first day as a "help" to the LN... But for now, I'll group them according to some important events from what has transpired in that short time...

(//I am showing this message for three reasons: 1.) I'm goin to sleep, so I wanted to report the first day in peace; 2.) I wanted to clarify some things as well; 3.) I'm supposed to report here, don't I?)

First, I will give the PREVIOUS intended roster I had (//honestly I didn't know there weren't any traders in the LN):

[LN]-Leon.Tigre_F = The executioner-class character that would serve as the patroller
[LN]-Leon.Tigre_T = The Mammoth-class character that would be the trading part: destroyed by some unforseen events (//RP)

Second, now for the events...
I was on a trip trying to fix my rep into the LN guard when I was contacted by LPI-Rodrick.O'Rielly[O] to be invited to their battlegroup. Apparently they had found some traders over on Z21, but when I got there was no where to be found, at least according to my intel on my arrival.

Next, the LNS-Thunderbolt had picked up a mining vessel that had entered the Z21 area... I immediately was able to pick up the miner to be [49'er]Apollo, then came also Queen's.Crusader, who so declared that the Queen of Bretonia herself wanted to pick the miner "back" to Bretonia.

I took the two over to the outskirts of BS Missouri to deal with the paperwork... Then the rest of my group came, who were "=LSF=Infinity or something", and LNS-Thunderbolt (sorry if the names might be wrong, everything just came up so fast it was hard to take note over everthing). All three of us were in our heads and tails on what to do with the tresspassers.

The two wanted to just blast them, but with some patience I recovered info from the mining vessel that it had "come from" the Forbidden system, giving a clue that there was some "other way" for many more vessels to repeat the incident if left undone, so bureaucracy was tight at best. Oh yeah... sorry for having said about the name of the Forbidden system... I promise it won't happen again. I'm a man of my word...
I suggested that I would "milk them" on the info the miner had so that this situation would not happen again, and THEN bring the law hard on them...

Until they started to flee...

=LSF=Infinity had just managed to CD the miner, while as I ran after it, I could have sworn the ship Queen's.Crusader had opened fire on me.

Pretty soon I was contacted that the High Command Vice Admiral himself found my naming convention to be faulty, so I had to excuse myself from the situation I was in, and get my facts straight. Hopefully, the issue was resolved in my absence.

Now for the weirdest parts...
Before High Command contacted me, Mila (my Co-pilot) had been going through the "dream-state" again... Apparently, Faye (my engineering officer on board my Mammoth) had just identified three Keeper vessels on our scanners.

Mila was into "Trance" after I got my new name, then suddenly MY SYSTEMS HAD BEEN INFECTED!!! Everyone had to evacuate, and we rendezvous on Battleship Missouri to recollect the final moments before my ship had turned itself into a Kamikaze-ship onto the NY sun...

During her Dream, Mila had seen that the Keeper she came in contact with didn't wish to talk, only to be given a sight of children running in terror... Then while the ship was going to the sun corona, she begged for the Alien to let go of the ship, but to no avail... She is currently seeing the Missouri Medic to help explain the phenomenon on how she "got contact with the alien" in the first place...

Everyone's in shock on what happened... but hopefully, my finalization will come in a bit easier now...

Third, the NEW roster that would be my new intent:

[LN]-Leon.Tigre = The executioner-class character, the official character to seal the deal with recruitment.

I hope the info I had just gave will help in any way... Oh, and thank you for letting me into the LN... I know I am near some of the greatest people to serve with, and I hope my stay here won't cause too much problems initially. I will serve Liberty to the best that I can...

We had some activity today.
A little bit after getting on duty, I got a call from the agent Fred Hertz in California, 3 freelancer pirates were attacking traders close to the New York gate. We got there, but before to find the freelancers, we were intercepted by Gerald Gallego, flying a falcata bomber, and we took him down.
After that, we found the pirates, we were destroying the pirate train, but it jumped to New York, and lost him. One of the bombers got down, and the other disappeared from the fight.

Ensign Everson met me in Texas, and when we were about to start patroling, a RNC gunboat was spotted at Penn's gate in New York. We flew at full speed there, the gate was clear, but, we got information of the gunboat heading from West Point to manhattan. I found him above plane, close to Manhattan, heading to Fort Bush. He tried to disrupt me and get away, but it was a big fail from him. My snac hit him a couple of times, even when his missiles were hard to dodge. Everson, came soon, but a crazy trader, with Police tag, was shooting at him, I took down the trader. But, even with Everson, the gunboat was really hard, it had a Capital armour Vll. Fourtanely, the LNS Spruance's captain came to help, and together we destroyed it.

.....transmitting patrol report......

Today, it seemed that the bad guys came out of the woodwork to test the mettle of a new recruit, namely, me. One particular baddie by the name of Jarek70, tried to challenge me in my Excecutioner class ship. I was parked above West Point and the fool came right up to me and began to engage. Now, I'm not the best fighter in the world, especially in an Executioner. So, I sent a distress signal over group comms for assistance. I'm no hero. I'm not ashamed to ask for help. The goal is to keep the system free of baddies, not give the baddies a fair chance at walking all over Liberty systems.
Anyways, Jarek70 engaged me and I tried to cling close to the safety of West Point defense systems, all the while, firing off a shot or two at the criminal. Soon, a couple of Independant navy boys named Joe.Bandon and =SWAT=bat, as well as Gafwmm, joined in to assist. I'm not sure which of these gentlemen actually assisted and which observed, but their mere presence gave me the confidence to endure the battle.
Joe.Bandon, I know, did assist and eventually took down the perp. Many thanks to the fine Navy Indies. About 6k away from the battle lay two hackers in wait. I don't know why they didn't assist Jarek70 when he engaged us. My guess is that they didn't want to have to fight through the guns of West Point to get to us. I guess not all criminals are completely stupid. Anyways, after destroying Jarek70's ship and placing him under arrest, we persued the two Hackers, Jace"Flash"Dillon and Dragon_Fire. They were flying a gunboat and a bomber respectively. These two finally made a stand between Manhattan and West Point and launched a series of taunts at us, in order to provoke us into something foolish. The West Point training then kicked in, and after discussing tactics and strategy, we engaged the unlawfuls and quickly dispatched them. They are currently being trasported to a correctional facility.
Our forces also engaged an unlawful by the name of HFX-Sayre. He seemed willing to cooperate with us in escorting him out of the system. However when docking with the tradelane, he disengaged and started to flee. I immediately engaged him, and he turned toward me firing all guns. I held him off for awhile until backup caught up with me, and he too, was quickly dispatched.
I have evidence to present in the form of screenshots, when each of these criminals are arraigned and brought to justice.

I should wait to the end of the day until report myself.
Everson and I, found a couple more of problems in New York. A rheinlander called Partizan, and a Corsair gunboat by the name of Diego Alvarez.
Partizan was flying a wrath, and thank god, he tried to run in a straight line from my Upholder.
The corsair gunboat didn't have a strong amour, and with Everson's help we took it down.

Greetings, High command. Today was a rather eventful day. From the first skirmish to the second, The Liberty Forces had been engaged by Pirates and marauding Rhienland capital ships. The Kill-Cam worked in perfect order, taking high quality images of every kill.

First Skirmish, New York System, Enemies- Liberty Pirates. The emergency comms brought up a message that multiple pirates were seen engaging outside Manhatten. Proceeding to provide Admiral Hale and the others with help, i moved out from Fort Bush toward Manhatten. All gunners were focussing on the Polaris, which was soaking up supernova after supernova, but i witnessed the pirate bombers engaging the admiral, and others. Leaving the others to continually punish the Polaris, i focussed on the LR pirate first, who i took out in the first pass, while he turned to face me:

The Alleigance was taken out by Saronsen, but thankfully the crew managed to escape:

The next to go was Polaris, who ate a supernova from me:

George bush decided to engage our capital ships, so while the other bombers concentrated on the other gunboat, i decimated his shield and hull rapidly, finishing him off with a supernova shot to the hull:

While the Onboard camera did not distinguish the kill correctly, McTavish landed the final hit on the hull of the other gunboat, destroying it:

In this time, we had a serious situation on our hands. While we were busy fighting the gunships, we did not realise a Spyglass haad entered the battle, costing us Everson's ship:

Having caught his pod, i gave the order to blast a hole in the Libertine. An unknown civilian according to reports state his ship was destroyed by the guns of the libertine, perhaps crossfire:

rather randomly, Saronson's ship exploded. For the first few seconds i did not realise the cause, until i saw the distinctive smoke trails of the Nova Torpedoes, which exploded in his proximity while he was shieldless. For a Lane Hacker, that was a rather daft move, i must say:

Alas, our next loss was a Liberty gunship that came just too close to the Libertine's guns:

Finally, after taking repeated hits on the hull, the Libertine crumbled. The captain ordered everyone to evacuate the ship before it exploded, and while most of the crew managed to escape, I Picked up a Lane Hacker Battleship Turret, which i in turn sent to Norfolk Shipyards for analysis. Kill-cam showing the Libertine's Explosion:

With the great thread taken care of, finally only 1 fighter remained. everyone present targetted him and started engaging him, when i was asked to move to Fort Bush. Doing as ordered, Me and Liquid saw an outcast in a crow, who challenged Liquid to a duel. In that time, The others killed off the final sabre:

After switching to his fighter, Liquid proceeded to engage the pirate, while i prepare the fleet for the second Skirmish.

Second Skirmish, Texas System, Enemies- Rhienland capital ship battlegroup.

while all the fleet assembled at houston, i scouted out the Bering Jumpgate. Hardly surprising to see 3 Rhienland battleships, a gunship, a wraith, and a superbomber nearby. Returning to the fleet, i saw the gunship come close, as a scout. Quickly ordering the bomber wing to follow me, we engaged and destroyed the gunship before re-inforcements came. The kill-cam went haywire once again, registering the kill to one Wolfman, instead of me:

Tactics helped us win the battle. First wave destroyed the battleship shields, second wave ravaged the hull. The bombers were the first wave, taking out the Valhalla's shielding systems clear for the Dreadnoughts to fire their heavy mortars at the hull. soon enough, it was taken out:

The Rhienlanders tricked us, for a second. They only came with 2 battleships first, the third came afterward. Regardless, We only lost the Durango, while all the Rhienland battleships were decimated, alongside the superbomber. The Wraith pilot fled rightly so:

With that, ends my report. The Durango is currently in drydock, recieving urgent repairs to its hull and shielding systems, but it should be up and running soon enough.

>Hostile Freelancers.

After a brief patrol of New York, I got a distress signal from the Brookstone alerting me to two hostile Freelancers at West Point. After suffering critical damage, the Brookstone retreated and the Freelancers disappeared once I'd managed to fuel up my fighter.

I returned to patrol Texas and found them both lurking around Housten. With their uncompliance for arrest protocols, I engaged and shot-to-kill. Jack Murdoch of the National Guard came to assist, but met an unfortunate end with a sneaky SNAC shot from one of the hostiles.

--Guncam Shot--

Ten minutes of fighting ensued until ion static built up in the engine and I was forced to retreat.

I advise all officers to arrest these two Freelancers on sight. If they resist, shoot them.

Quick Summary:
  • Onyx.Snow, Guilt --HOSTILE FREELANCERS-- --EVADED ARREST--
On a more pleasant note, I'd like to congratulate all officers who got promoted, especially Commander Anderson and Lt. Commander Casero, who have both been outstanding officers from the moment they joined the Liberty Navy. *Salutes*

>Mon'Star.

Following on from the previous report.

As I undocked from Norfolk, I received yet another distress signal, this time from a trader in California. He advised me that a dangerous terrorist was harassing civilians in the sector. I quickly geared up and moved out to assist. When I arrived, I was shocked to realise I was the only friendly ship in the area. With Mon'Star closing in on my location, I moved and evaded his fire for as long as possible until a single LPI bomber turned up to assist me.
With a barrage of incoming missiles, I did my best to thrust and sneak a supernova shot in where I could, however it was to no avail. Finally though, the LNS-Calypso appeared to assist us. We knew the terrorist would probably run to New York, so we set up a trap for him on the other side of the jumpgate. The LNS-Equilibrium was waiting for him as he "cleverly" jumped to New York.

From there on in, his ship was doomed.
A hazmat team has secured the area and is scanning for possible radiation contamination.

>Greenhorn pirates in California.

After we dispersed Mon'Star, three pirates were annoying trader in California - This wasn't acceptable. Negotiations soon failed with the pirates in question after their leader, Nimrod, stated "Engage them boys". Obviously they didn't see our Battlecruiser behind them.
They were soon quashed and I returned to Norfolk to have my ship once again serviced.
Patrol Summary:
  • Mon'Star --TERRORIST-- --NEUTRALISED--
  • Nimrod, Guest, noonehasthisnameyet --PIRATES-- --NEUTRALISED--
To finish, I'd like to thank the Captain of the LNS-Calypso for his continuing bravery and service to the Liberty Navy.

Sender: Commander Galen Anderson

Had an eventful day today, with two sorties into Hamburg due to aggression from the Rheinlanders. The first mission, Captain Backus led our group which included Lt.Commander Casero, Lt.Ryback, Commander Robinson, Ensign Everson and I into Hamburg, while the Louisbourg and LPI Sergeant Maggard stayed behind in Hudson and New York respectively. On my personal comm and in the system channel of Texas, we intercepted a transmission from the RNC Valhalla that they have taken prisoners from Liberty. We pursued the ship into Hudson and later into Hamburg, our force consisting of bombers.

After a standoff, more Rheinland ships appeared including Daumann, the Military themselves, and others. With that, we fled, intending to flee the system, however, the Daumann pilot CD'ed me as he came out of the lane, and we were bogged down. I was forced to eject as my bomber was no match for the manuverable Wraths.

http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo269...GA1217.jpg

Much later in the day, I assumed command of a force consisting of Lt. Commander Casero, Lt.Commander Malrone, Lieutenant Kapinos, Ensign Everson and Guardian.059. LPI Sergeant Maggard and the Captains of the Brookstone and Greystone were also present. It was a quiet patrol, as I took California, Lt.Commander Malrone took Colorado and several of the junior ranks were engaged in training sessions. Everything turned sour when an apparent Rheinland Military spy named Raubvogel-[GER] arrived and sat near Manhattan.

A chase ensued with him apparently going near Rochester. Ensign Everson and the Brookstone were on his tail, and the rest of our forces were able to stop him at Fort Bush. We ordered him to leave Liberty through Texas. He complied until he hit Norfolk, mined the lane, and headed towards West Point. At that time, I ordered all ships to terminate this spy working for our enemies. The pursuit continued until he jumped to Texas and used his mine trick to slow us down.

I gave Lt.Commander Malrone permission to follow him into Bering and later into Hamburg as I followed him as well. The rest of our group held in Texas, where another Rheinland infiltrator in a bomber attacked the Brookstone. While that battle was commencing, Malrone and I found the Rheinlander near Planet Hamburg. I took on the spy myself, while Malrone took out the police vessels soon pooring out of the orbiting station and the planet itself. The dogfight was quick, and with the spy gone, we soon headed back to Liberty. The Rheinland bomber was also taken out and all threats were destroyed.
