*Salutes* NY was quite hecktic today with a keeper and phantom attack. //Unfortunatly I can't bring news on the matter as I was away during this period. But I did group up with the gunboat LNS-Blackstone and with the assistance of some allied ships entered a firefight against a couple of pirates. I managed to kill the bomber but it was already on low health thanks to the other participants. After I resumed my patrol the Blackstone and I escorted a trader to pueblo. Then he went to Virginia for some weapons and I patrolled NY and cali. Caught a bounty hunter with a large number of nomad brains but it turns out he was delivering them to Willard so I escorted him there. Then the Blackstone pursued a runner into colorado and I went through Ontario to catch up. He docked on Denver but payed a fine of 500k which we split, so I guess ive got some extra cash in my pocket besides my salary. Anyway, im probably going to catch a drink on Manhatten now...

' Wrote: For a start, the High Command is still debating on the smuggler issue.
We're aware that the [color=#FFFFFF]LPI
is not always present when needed, and we're trying to find a solution to the problem, but we're trying to figure something out.
For now smugglers are to be treated as usual.

To Lieutenant Commander Malrone: Malrone, I don't like letting a smuggler go even though I could force him to get rid of his load at the spot either.
Until we've found a solution I simply can't give you the permission to act as you requested.
High Command's order has been received - Smugglers are to be ignored by the Liberty Navy

Please verify I have interpretated those order correctly, Commodore.

>[/JG\] Issue.
Quote:If one looks carefully at the guncam shots, you can clearly see a [/JG\] mercenary idling around with the pirates. Their action as of late is a tad concerning to me and I am requesting to send a message through the diplomatic channel to their consortium - Questioning why they are dealing with pirates and refusing to aid in lawful attacks against pirates. A nagging feeling tells me they're playing both sides, I'd like to get a clear answer from them before we allow them to partake in routine strikes against unlawfuls in the future - They may be collecting evidence on our tactics.

I know I may sound paranoid, but I feel at times like these its best to get a clear understand of who are friend and foe.
Still awaiting a reply on this issue.

>Day patrol.

Today, I led Delta wing, comprising of Lt. Kapinos, Sub.Lt. Doggett and myself, through Colorado, Pennsylvannia, California and New York. The patrol turned up only two Outcasts - One crazy, the other a runner. Both were neutralised.

Later, in Texas, two smugglers were picked up by LSF agent Sean Toronto. Shagohad-[T] - A Junker previously suspected of assisting Phantom terrorists, as well as Finnigan's.Wake were both scanned and found to be in possession of over three thousand units of Cardamine.

If Agent Toronto could report in on the status of these two law-breakers; as I was required to attend the christening of the newest member of the Navy's transport fleet - The [LN]-LNT-San.Jose.

>[LN]-LNT-San.Jose ~ Under command of Lieutenant Sophie Morrison.

After aiding in the construction of the San Jose, I suited up and arrived at the christening ceremony today at Norfolk Shipyard. The Mammoth-class transport vessel has been outfitted with "Diamond" armour (2.5 multiplier) and has its maiden voyage tomorrow.

I trust Lt. Morrison will be an excellent transport captain, as she has been an outstanding officer and has been awarded her first command on good grounds. Don't screw up, Morrison.

>[LN]-LNS-Indiana ~ Move order.

The LNS-Indiana has been moved and moored at the West Point Military Academy, as per Commodore Willow's orders.

>LNS-Florida ~ Move request.

Captain Baxter is requesting to move the Florida to Texas, in light of recent Rheinland attacks on the sector by large Military vessels. A streamlined Liberty cruiser can interdict any medium-size Rheinland craft before they become a threat to innocent Liberty citizens.

Well, anyway I grouped up with the LABC Greystone and were planning on obtaining reinforcments to attack the large cartel fleet of pirates.

Guncam

But then after they sort of retreated we formed with LPI-Swat-Maggard after he scared away a Rhienland BS that invaded texas. Apparently it had come back and attacked the LNS-Repentance. The Rhienland BS retreated in to the shadows sirs. But its threat on Liberty has ceased for now.

Then I stoped the transport Anchor from sending Lane parts through rhienland. He was very co-oprative with liberty codex.

And that concluded my patrol for today.

I'll be brief.

To Lieutenant Commander Malrone: First, good work out there on your part aswell.
Second, the Jupiter Guild issue is out of my jurisdiction.
I suggest you send a direct message to Admiral Hale or Vice Admiral MacTavish.
It's not my damn job and I don't have answers for everything.

To Recruit Baker: Good work out there Issac.
You've also passed your trial period and are promoted to the rank of Ensign.
Congratulations, soldier. Good to have you aboard.

What else... oh yeah, of course, that one thing.
From now on, I'm on shoreleave.

This is a Liberty Trading Vessel report from Captain John Cort of the San Juan...Processing..

Greetings Commander(s).

So far the trading campaign between Liberty and Bretonia goes well. Platinum is being transported across borders with cargo holds full of gold being brought home. The only trouble I have stumbled upon so far was some Outcast pirate who wished three million credits in exchange for my life. I, as a Liberty Merchant do not appreciate pirates just as much as the Navy. So instead, I tricked this no brained pirate. I offered him two million credits to be transfered to his account from a financial terminal on Planet Manhattan. Great to say, that money never made it to his account and I'm sure he hung his head in shame of being tricked. No one steals money from Liberty.

The second time I went through that route I thought it was best to have a military escort of two gunboats. LNS - Blackstone and LNS - Frankfort. Each ship done a great job of getting my cargo from one place to another and we ran into no trouble.

The following runs after that have been a breeze. My ship has managed to stay in one piece and so has my cargo. I believe in four days time my trading campaign will have ended and some of my earned money goes into the LN Armoury. A new trade route I hope should of been generated by then with much more profit on the counter.

Captain John Cort, signing out.

Comm id: Virgil Redline

Message begins:

Captain Redline here. This evening I received word that a Rheinland battleship had broken through as far as Houston. The Fires Of Liberation launched from Norfolk and headed straight for Texas.

As we were in the lane to Houston, the freakin` battleship passed underneath us in the lanes!

We ejected from the lanes and chased it. it soon turned on us and opened fire. that hurt.
after pulling some evasive manouvers we managed to get out of her fiiring range and blast her with the Siege Cannon, or Melting Ray, as the crew has lovingly dubbed it.

soon, other Navy ships entered the scene of battle. The Ithaca dealt the deathblow with her heavy mortar. The Rheinland battleship was completely destroyed. The Fires Of Liberation took a generous pelting. the hull`s been damaged a wee bit. BUT, the Siege Cannon didn`t catch fire like last time. I guess replacing the cardboard conductors helped.

I have some footage of the fight. I forgot to activate the tailcam due to the... "mess" (me running around like a chicken with its head cut off whilst screaming vulgarities) on the bridge when we took a full barrage to the face.

also, don`t even get started about the music you can year playing on the bridge...

That`s Cloud`s taste, not mine.

"Sirs! I have great news! Today, I was contacted while in the orbit of Manhattan by a Rheinland Military bomber pilot, wishing to defect from Rheinland, he was looking to become a Mercenary, to work for himself, rather than fighting the war anymore..he seemed tired...distraught maybe, over the apparent loss of his daughter, I managed to get some intel from him, and his ship is sitting on a launch pad at Manhattan Starport right now, waiting for a Navy lifter to go and retrieve it.

I'll upload the data that I collected shortly."

"On a final note, the pilot gave me a message of caution for our engineers, he told me that the Rheinland Military skipped out on Radiation shielding in the engine and reactor cores of the Fafnir,In order to save time and money.

He wanted me to tell you folks that our engineers should wear radiation suits when working on the ship.

Commanders, this is a joint report from both the San Juan and John Tyin.

Begin San Juan Report#2234

*Heavy breathing echoes in the message* Commanders...Things with the San Juan are not good, not good at all..We ran into a snag on our last run. A Outcast Gunboat, stopped us just short of New York..*violent coughing* I had an escort with me, Morrow, I forgot the rest of the boys name. We engaged the Outcast ship, we just wanted to warn him off. We don't negotiate with pirates or terrorists that endanger Liberty's citizen's and economic state. Thats where it went catastrophic.

It wasn't going well, we ceased fire and the Outcast took a bit of pity upon us. Lt Commander Caseros forces pulled into the fray and the Outcast gunboat held me at gunpoint, demanding that anyone who came within a reaching distance of three thousand kilometers would force him to fire his weapons on my ship.

Casero, ordered his men to open fire. My ship got blown to pieces in a matter of miliseconds. Cruise engines failed and one huge proton force hit my hull as my escape pod launched from one of the escape ports. *Breathing becomes heavier*. The San Juan lost two thousand and two hundred units of gold Commander. Me and Casero made up for the incident, we both agreed it was a bad call on his part and let bygones be bygones. I'm now floating lazily toward Graves Station..God sir I don't hit a mine.. Also, Vice Admiral MacTavish, this loss has set us back in profit a little bit. The armoury will receive its money one day behind schedule. I hope such incidents can be avoided in future.

John C...o *static*..****!

[Begin Transmission from John Tyin, Naval Report #~775

Heard about the San Juan incident, some good men died on that ship and thank god my buddy Cort didn't. Moving on to my report.. My duties within the past few days have not included much notable information. My Guncams haven't been functioning correctly so I have no evidence to provide for the accusations included in this report.

Uno - A Navy ID registered ship disregarded embargo orders and decided to pass into Bering carrying Military vehicles after being told several times to halt. As soon as my guncam shots were ready to be taken a Ion field or some sort swept over my ship and cleared me of the Jump Gate. It must of generated some sort of Ion charge since I appeared in Texas upon awaking from being unconscious.

Only just a few minutes ago a fight raged on outside of Manhattan between Liberty forces and Xeno terrorists. My ship was put out of commission by a Xeno pilot not long after being in combat due to my lacking in combat ability. He was all over me sir... I did promise myself I will try and perfect my combat skills so I last somewhat longer during a firefight.

Aside from that, a few phantom spotting's have been increasing in the New York system and I did hear they engaged forces within the New York system, I'm sure that will be included in someone else's report. Regular patrols seemed to bring up nothing of importance on my part. I will report back again in several days.

Salutations.

During a patrol exhibition inside the New York system, a distress call was suddenly alarmed from Zone-21. Apparently several Corsair warships had breached through the Alaska-New York Jumpgate and were now positioned right inside the Zone-21 field. A quick order was sent by Admiral Hale and our fighters swiftly dispatched to answer this threat.

When I reached the scene, what I saw was not a small skirmish, but a bloody battlefield. Not one, not two, but three gigantic Corsair vessels were battling against our forces. Thousands of different colored volleys were exchanged by the two sides. Due to our solid coordination, accompanied by experienced pilots, the hostiles were quickly going down one by one. We did suffer some causalities, but the victory was still on our side. With a finishing blow, the last Corsair warship was destroyed and the battle ended with a cheerful cry.
