~Lt. Commander Jack Malrone.
>Patrol Report.
Let me start by saying that I fully understand High Command's decision to pass me up for promotion, as I haven't been regularly patrolling for some time now and presence on SKYPE communications has been cut back severely for numerous reasons.
I will attempt to work harder for Liberty and I hope today's report will reassure High Command that I can still serve Liberty to the fullest extent. Any further jobs that High Command is willing to give me can be forwarded to my Personal Messaging system.
>Pirate Ambush.
My patrol started with escorting a pirate out of New York, towards Texas. As we passed Norfolk shipyard, another contact appeared on scanners and this one was holding hostages. I ordered he cut his engines and release them. He didn't comply as we chased him towards the Texas jumpgate. Once there, he only released the Navy pilots and kept the Police hostage. As this was completely unacceptable, I tractored in the Navy pilots and chased the target to Texas.

Once there, I was ambushed by a bomber and Rogue Destroyer. I immediately ordered the Louisbourg to reroute to Texas and assist. Whilst waiting for the Louisbourg, I gave the pirates the chance to release the hostages and run while they still had the chance. They refused and the battle began once the Louisbourg had arrived.
--Guncam047--
A rather quick battle ensued, leaving one of the enemy bombers obliterated and the destroyer limping back to its base. The fighter was then targeted, however the Rogue soon saw he was completely outnumbered and made a quick retreat.
--Guncam048--
That wasn't the last I'd see those Rogues in this shift...
>Rheinland Warship [FOR HIGH COMMAND'S EYES ONLY].
The next order of business was a Rheinland gunboat reported directly outside Manhatten. I ordered the officers to keep it there until I arrived. En-route I was informed that the Captain of the warship had apparently won it in some sort of card game. Intrigued, I inquired more and found out he was now an enemy of Rheinland.
--Guncam049--
Knowing a Rheinland warship in the Navy's hands could be... beneficial to the war proceedings, I offered the Captain an option to contact myself over the public channels - Nowhere near trusting him with our private comms channels.
--Guncam050--
As of yet, the Captain has yet to respond.
>Pirate Ambush II.
Officers in California had multiple contacts bearing down on them in California - Naturally I responded and ordered the rest of our fleet to move to Texas to intercept other pirates in the area, hoping this would push them back into their hideouts. Once I arrived in California, I was confronted by the same destroyer and multiple Rogue fighters.
Our backup arrived swiftly, however few allies were in fighter-class ships, providing the enemy with a distinct advantage. Well, the fighters had the advantage, not so much the Destroyer - Which was downed within minutes.

--Guncam054--
Eventually, after two LPI ships were destroyed, the pirates were neutralised leaving California safe once again.
>Pennsylvannia Disturbance.
Immediately after the California incident, I was required in Pennsylvannia due to a reported pirate disturbance. Myself, Captain Applegate and Officer Julie followed up on the report. On the Captain's wing, we headed around the nearby planet and pinpointed the pirates position. The smaller, Dagger-class ship, retreated, leaving only the transport for us to deal with. He failed to comply and was subsequently destroyed.
--Guncam055--
--Guncam056--
Cartel were then overheard entering the system and I ordered a couple more LPI there to pan out and search for those murderous scum. I lead a wing of fighters into the asteroid field, where the pirates were sure to be. Sure enough, they were spotted ganging up on a DXI bomber. Before we could assist, they'd destroyed the DXI pilot's ship and were retreating to some sort of base they must've constructed out of a large asteroid.
--Guncam057--
Deep Space Telemetry is still attempting to pinpoint the base.
Report Summary
Officer Julie was an ever-reliable pilot during the shift, providing excellent support when and where it was needed, following my orders exactly. Well done, officer.
