It saddens me to announce the loss of many lives today. We had many Phantom ships in New York... I put in multiple distress calls on all channels and the Navy only responded with 2 vessels, while I commend the crews of those ships, it was not enough as they were destroyed. There where many other Navy vessels in New York that decided to allow me, the LPI and other LSF agents to deal with a Phantom Huntress, a Gunboat and its escorts in fighters and 1 bomber. I want an explanation as to why a Navy Dreadnaught and Battle Cruiser allowed a Phantom Huntress to roam free in our capital, I am lucky to be alive as my ship suffered heavy damage and an exploding console has caused me to need stitches. That is all....

Admirals,

I am glad to report that the newly commissioned Liberty Dreadnought LNS-Montpelier is fully operational and her crew have already been pushed to their limits in a large pirate skirmish near Norfolk Shipyard.

Yesterday we launched for some routine war scenarios and various weapons and shields testing. Commander Haley Kiley was listening to comms chatter within New York and noticed some peculiar signals. Apparently, quite a large pirate force was simply drifting around New York. Knowing they could be a serious threat to the security of our ship, I moved the Montpelier back to Norfolk.

It wasn't long before the pirates had found our position and managed to block off every tradelane exiting Norfolk. I opted to wait for backup units, as there were eight hostile bombers - Chances of coming out unscathed were slim. After a tense couple of minutes, the pirates decided they would assault Norfolk and take the Montpelier down. However, my gunners had other plans...
[Image: targets.jpg]
All eight bombers closed in on us, but with the Missouri covering our rear flank, we managed to designate some viable targets. One after another they fell from the might of our weapons.

[Image: 30541341.jpg]
Eventually, a couple of friendly units arrived and dealt with the remaining bombers. Static interference was growing and I made the decision to moor the Montpelier before it became any worse.

We scored a great triumph for Liberty today.

-:She rolls her eyes, before stepping up.:-

Ms. Wolfe, I'll have you be aware that the Battlecruiser did leave shortly after you decided to insult the Navy, and then turn off your Comms after docking with one of -our- bases. I find it disgusting and cowardly that you would insult the Liberty Navy, claiming we don't enforce -our- end of the law and then turning off your comms.

Is that really how all of the LSF act? Like cowards? But nonetheless, that doesn't change the fact that the Dreadnought you're speaking of is unable to enter Combat. It can fly, but that's probably the best she can do.

I was under the impression that your forces had it handled, because in a Comm. Channel, I was informed of a victory by several LSF forces. I had assumed it was under control and docked with Norfolk for the rest of the day to get some sleep.

Unlike LPI and LSF, I don't like to drink coffee after all.

~~~~~RE: My resignation~~~~~
Message Reads:
My doctor has informed me, and thus I feel it nessicary to inform the Navy, that if I wish to live I must leave my current lifestyle behind. And that unfortunately means I must resign from the Navy. It is a sad decision to make, but my doctor was quite clear on what would happen if I did not leave.
My new heart has been placed under too much stress now, and she says that only a quiet and peaceful lifestyle can save me.
I do not like the prospect of a boring end to an eventful life, but unfortunately if I remain in the Navy my heart will fail in a matter of months.
I am sorry to tell you this, but the decision preserves my life and will hopefully give me a happy ever after.
Unusual day for me ... help was needed in Alaska ... too many Order ships was there ... i was on way there and we got order to leave Alaska. Order was leaving it too... some of our ships was behind others. We were in NY ... dealing with some smugglers around Zone 21 and then we received message from 2 ships from Alaska engaged by 2 order ships that came back from Minor. We all moved back there to save 2 ships in danger. We got close to given sector and there it was Osiris and Sekhmet ... they tried to avoid our engagement with some lies but no one listen them ... they got down pretty fast .... high pulse from Heavy Mortar triggered my cam so ... that's only picture data from this case. Order is pushing in Alaska each day more ... only open attack on their bases would maybe scare them away from Liberty ... many of their capital ships wander in our territory without a reason shooting everything hostile.
heh... damn. stupid spyware...
making my console all frisky there. gotta tell the old lady to lay off the- ... never mind
anyway, I have a small report to upload here.
yesterday I ran a patrol around New York. it was all quiet untill I bumped into a Hellfire goon near Manhattan. I ordered him to leave which, obviously, he refused to do.
eh, whoa. wrong one. sorry about this. I need to clean out this piece of trash.
I meant this:
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff152/D.../screen2-25.jpg
he then started to smart talk me. trying to get me to join his cause. I talked to him for a while, in order to keep him away from the tradelane. then his buddy showed up. he was an even bigger arrogant sack of hay than his minion.
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff152/D.../screen3-20.jpg
after a while the head honcho, a certain Trevelyan, ordered that Shia dude to attack me. so he did. we went into savage combat untill my ship started acting up. I had tons of ion readings in the engine and my targetting system went haywire. so I bugged out.
as I landed on Manhattan, a LSF ship was already on site. maybe he can report what happened after I made my emergency landing.
that is all.
Good morning, folks.
I would like you all to know that if you come across an outcast named Jose'.Marti, I'd appreciate it if you didn't blow him out of the sky and, if in Liberty, just ask him to leave the system politely. He saved my life the other day and he can be quite a nice person.
Thank you for your time.
Jose'.Marti was engaged in a large scale battle against Commander Casero and a Freelancer by the name of Alvise Kinnara, as well as multiple other Pirate ships. The Freelancer in question and Commander Casero ended up dispatching them all, if the video feed I was given is correct.
Why should he be left alone simply because he saved one Navyman's life? He has probably killed much more than one.
One life is not worth many. No matter who the person.
>Patrol Report.
Whilst on patrol yesterday, several pirates made a move on Fort Bush. Myself and several other officers went to defend. We were vastly outnumbered, however we had a cruiser captain with precise aim, who managed to eliminate two hostile bombers and the gunboat before I ordered it to stand down.
The battle then moved away from Fort Bush and it looked as if we were assured victory. However, another Rogue gunboat came along and decided to engage our gunboat. Myself, a KoF bomber and a well-trained BHG gunboat were all that remained on our side. As we whittled their gunboat down to a mere husk, suddenly it got supplied with a full load of bots/batts. I noticed immediately that the mysterious AI cruiser, EXJ-03069, was down on precisely the amount of bots/batts the gunboat required. I immediately ordered the cruiser to leave at once. It refused that order, however I didn't have the forces to eliminate it. The skirmish went downhill from there - With all friendly forces being eliminated.
>EXJ-03069.
As a continuation of the previous matter, I am hereby ordering a warrant of arrest for the artificial intelligence cruiser EXJ-030699 due to the following breeches of the Liberty law statute:
Part 5, Section A, Paragraph 1
Quote:Kidnapping; Defined as the unlawful holding of an individual or individuals against their will by another individual or group of individuals, most commonly applied to the holding of lawful pilots in cargo holds.
Part 5, Section A, Paragraph 3
Quote:Piracy; Defined as the unlawful coercion of the owner or owners of a vehicle or vehicles to render their resources towards the offender. Most commonly applied to vessels attempting to impose taxation upon traders.
Part 5, Section A, Paragraph 4
Quote:Assault, Attempted murder and/or Murder; Defined as the unlawful attacking of one individual or individuals by another individual or individuals with intent to Unsuccessfully/successfully damage or terminate said person or persons. Most commonly applied to one vessel attacking another with intend to cause harm.
I am pressing charges against the AI unit for playing an assistant role in the above crimes.
Basic Statute
Quote:Officers of the Law; Any other pilot/entity in space is to follow any reasonable order by a LPI, LN or LSF officer and do so when and where the officer has asked for the task to be carried out. This stature is null in the case of other LPI, LN or LSF officers currently employed by the House of Liberty (Chain of command supersedes this).
The full charge of disobeying a LN officer's reasonable order can be pressed against the cruiser.
I ask any officer to arrest this entity on sight. Make sure the charges are known to it and the consequences of not complying this time...
Lt. Commander Jack Malrone
