Busy couple of days. Yesterday, there was an XTF attack outside Manhattan. I bagged one and decided to let off, because there were so many of our forces there.
Later that day, I was woken from my rest to the sound of Klaxons. My superiors were yelling at me to load up in my bomber, because there was a Spyglass in New York! Jerek Zhoran was it's callsign. It was a combined effort that we brought it down. We lost two good capital ships that day, their surviving crew shaken.
Today, Jerek was BACK. In ANOTHER Spyglass! I couldn't believe the reports. I scrambled my bomber with all possible haste and flew out to meet it. I was.. Oddly, the only ship engaging Jerek initially, however, a GMG Gunboat, Tsukai, came to assist. Soon, then, the LNS Calypso, a Battlecruiser came and acted as the offensive's backbone. It was... A surprisingly easy fight. I think that the gunnery on the Spyglass were all drunk, because not only could they hardly hit us, he jumped from target to target, aiming at me, then Tsukai, then the Calypso. I stayed on him for the entire fight, and my Supernova surpassed the overheat mark. I won't be able to use it 'till it gets fixed.
Anyway, under my Supernovas, the Gunboat's Razors, and the Battlecruiser's Mortars, it went down in a magnificent explosion. Hopefully this is the last venture of Jerek's battleship. The second time around, there were no casualties.
Bagged an XTF
Jerek's first death
Engaigen Jerek!!
He's almost down!
Jerek falls a second time.

Report: Hessians in New York
Sirs!
I was conducting flight training with my bomber squadron when we received a distress call from a transport on the Norfolk/Texas Jump Gate lane... they were being pirated by 2 Hessian gunboats!
Without hesitation we diverted from Fort Bush to the Texas Jump Gate, and Commander Sonya Kellis activated HADES at 15:09 ZULU, bringing the San Francisco to the entrance of Zone 21, to prevent any incursions.
When we arrived, we found the Gunboats loaded with anti bomber weaponry, and after we started to suffer serious damage I thought we were done for. Then the San Francisco moved in, and after a brief encounter, both gunboats were destroyed.
Finding Hessians in New York is slightly worrying in my eyes sirs, perhaps we should move a battleship or a Cruiser to the New York JumpGate in Texas to keep an eye on the traffic?

Greetings, it seems that the bars are not safe from being smashed once again.
A few months back I was on a routine patrol in the Texas system when I was engaged by several pirates in bombers. While I was able to deal with them, during the battle their antimatter cannons managed to pierce my shields and inflict moderate damage to my vessels engines and main reactior, as well as melt away the primary communications array. As there had been reports of Rhinland forces raiding the system, I decided to cruise above the systems ecliptic to avoid intercept until repair crews managed to fix the damaged systems, especially comms.
Whilst in cruise, the main engines had an explosion in a fuel line, killing a good number of the damage control teams and leaving the Leyte Gulf on a ballistic trajectory. It took us several months, using maneuvering thrusters along with a rogue asteroid to halt the ballistic trajectory that the Gulf was on. We also took several more casulties during that time, as all remaining power was directed to the vessels tractor beams as we locked onto the rock, and they wound up overloading as well.. Luckily the rock had enough velocity heading roughly opposite our course that we were able to roughly kill our momentum, and after some time a single engine was brought back online, at which time the Gulf and her crew slowley returned to the system, we also managed to rig a crude old style radio transmitter. Therange was low, and the transmission was not FTL, however we eventualy contacted LN Auxillary vessel, a repair ship, and made minor repairs as it towed us back to New York for a full shipyard overhaul.
The gulf will likely remain out of commission for some time after this.

BATTLE REPORT - Captain Kazinsal Goldsmith:
[Neptune] and [Poseidon], two Freelancer IFF Tridentes with Outcast weapons, barged in on a fight between multiple Liberty Navy and LSF members and the Joker and thugs four through six, destroying two caps and the LNS-Langley, Task Force Iota's flagship gunboat. As I write this from this wonderfully tiny and dull grey escape pod, I request that they both be put on the Liberty Navy's list of wanted criminals to kill on sight. They're wanted for the unnecessary murder of multiple Navy and LSF members, as well as assisting the Joker and other wanted criminals. Congratulations to them, for they are the first two members of Task Force Iota's Kill on Sight list.
Oh, and I do hope Norfolk starts painting the insides of these pods with a nicer colour and maybe making them a little bigger. I've got a good half hour before I make it to Manhattan docking control in this thing and I think the walls are starting to close in on me.

***Stolen Upholder Bomber***

Upon normal patrol routes within the New York system I came across something strange on my scanners. An Upholder Bomber, but without proper Navy or LSF identification, I investigated.
I turned out to be a mercenary who in fact stole the ship from E**more system. I did order him to rid of that ship on Planet Manhattan and retrieve a civilian ship, but he chose to run. An LPI officer chose to help me pursue him.
At the end he was cornered and then we opened fire on me. After a short fight he was gunned down.
We are not sure if the ship is salvageable after said fight. All officer should now be carefull before procedeing to said person due to his acts of violence against LPI and Navy officers.
