TARGET ID: Secondary Fleet Command
SUBJECT: Status Report
ENCRYPTION: High
PRIORTY: Medium
Sirs,
I report that the hull of the Black River has been recovered by Liberty Forces, and a through damage assessment is underway, through initial reports indicate the majority of the hull is intact, and is believed to be refittable.
Recovery elements of the [**Censored**], escorted by a security element from [**Censored**], entered hostile space, under cover of an ongoing incursion by other Liberty forces. The recovery element was able to locate and recover several downed vessels, and finished demolition of vessels deemed unrepairable. The recovered ships were towed under guard back to Virginia, where I was notified of the successful return of Black River.
In addition to others recovered, the remains of two of the initial seven missing Black River crew have been delivered to San Jacinto, and their status has been updated accordingly.
T.Kennedy, Engineer, -Killed In Action
J.Kitel, Gunnery Officer,-Killed In Action
On a personal note, this skirmish was the first loss of personnel under my command, and it's harder to handle then I thought it would be. I'm mad as hell. I can't wait to get back in there and pay back in spades.
Will advise when more information is available.
