Commander Helen Den reporting to Navy Command. The Miami finished a patrol in the Colorado system. The only notable fact is the destruction of a suspect transport ship that refused to offer any explanations and decided that running away was the better way. He was wrong. The ship in question was: Ricco and the targeting system tagged it as Military vessel. It docked with Pueblo somehow... strange but nothing to worry about we dealt with him.

During this encounter I received the following message that I'm passing to you.

This is Bounty Hunter Calintia to Zoner Control, Kusari Naval Command & Libery Navy Command. I am forwarding the following message that my ship received during a routine sweep of the Kepler system. I attempted to conduct a sensor sweep of all known radiation clouds within the system to locate the exact position of the ship in distress but with no success. At this time of 10:56 Sirius Time, I am requesting more support to conduct a more thorough sweep of the system if the resources can be allocated.

Very Respectfully,

It appears there's some ship in distress in the Kepler system. A zoner capital ship if I got it right. If allowed, LNS-Miami could go to investigate this. We're just one jump away. This concludes my report.

Commander,

We have analyzed the audio message and have produced a "theoretical" copy. It reads as follows:

Quote:Mayday! Mayday This is zoner colony ship Starlight in need of assistance. Several systems including navigation and engines ?rol?, have shut down. The ships' VI is offline. Internal sensors are offline. I am drifting The only information I have about my location is that I entered a radiation cloud just before this nightmare started. Life support has failed on inferior decks, biodome one is compromised. Air tanks have been damaged. I'm the only survivor, please help me!

As of the moment, most of our assets are tied up in various fronts leaving no one to assume the investigation. Therefore, I am assigning your vessel, Commander, to the task.

I must advise caution in approaching the downed vessel. We do not know if the interior of the ship is safe or what caused the ship's current condition. Keep your eyes and ears open out there. If you find something, report back immediately.

Good luck out there, Commander.

Commander Den reporting. My ship arrived in Kepler last night and started extensive scanning. We also tried to coordinate our search with a number of independent ships. I have reasons to believe that certain hostile individuals were also involved in this effort. No doubt they were looking for the ship and not the crew.

Unfortunately, the only signal that was announcing the presence of the ship in distress ceased to emit one hour ago. I see no reason for us to remain here so I'm setting course to Liberty unless ordered against that.

Commander Helen Den, over and out.

Commander,

I thank you for your efforts to locate the ship... but if the distress signal ceases to emit, we will presume the ship to be lost and the crew all killed.

Good Evening Sir or Ma'am,

Three years ago the 3rd Construction Battalion was tasked with beginning the restoration of a number of decommissioned First Fleet assets in response to the unknown threat posed by the Gallic Military. While a number of smaller vessels, in particular retrofitted Defender class fighters, have since successfully passed through the program, larger craft were delayed due to Logistics Corps reassignments and alterations in Government spending.

In spite of that, continuing incursions by the Gauls have been met with an increase in funding, and the subsequent acceleration of work. Last Friday I was informed that the first of our cruiser class assets, LNS Fort Collins has successfully completed atmosphere retention checks and been certified fit for assisted intrasteller travel.

The ship is not; however, fit for combat. The Ballista class predates the earliest revisions of the modern Catapult and Archer classes by at least a decade and, though the external appearance is similar, lacks the modern systems, particularly inertial dampeners, required to serve as more than an oversized defense platform.

To bring her up to specifications, the final stages of Fort Collins' retrofit will have to be conducted by the company responsible for her construction, Deep Space Engineering. As this extends beyond a matter of Naval Requisitions, I'm requesting authorization to contact DSE and proceed with the Fort Collins retrofit, and to have her entered into the registry as a First Fleet warship upon completion.

Hume, out.

Commander Hume,

Your request couldn't have come on a better time. Thousands of reports are coming daily through my desk and apparently, yours was deemed a priority by my aid.

Normally this would take a day or two to process but given the current situation, time is of the essence.
Clearance is hereby GRANTED for the Liberty Naval Ship,'Fort Collins'.

Please report back immediately upon the completion of the ship's retrofit.

Greetings.

Today the Rheinlanders came well into Texas before we gave them quite a beating. They fought well - but not well enough. This was the one of the first major raids in some time, so perhaps they are remobilizing their fleet again.

I launched from the Mississippi, which they had apparently bypassed earlier, and scouted out the opposing task force for our units in New York. Then, after our guys came through, we managed to hold most of them in place while we nabbed their boats, one by one.

We lost a few fighters, and some warships were crippled. An Elbe of theirs jumped out, but came back later only to get itself ventilated by our antimatter. I'd estimate that Rheinland lost almost a dozen capital warships, with maybe half a dozen strikecraft.

Supposedly our Widerstand friends were also picking off retreating hostiles in Bering, but there's been no confirmation of that yet. Back in Texas however, we also were engaged by an Outcast Sarissa and some odd Rogue Scylla. Both of which, along with RNC-Elba, I was able to gun down.
Visual attatchments.

Keep an eye on those Rheinlanders, pilots. That's all for now.

Sincerely,

Vice Admiral Teerin,
Liberty Navy First Fleet.

I would like to begin by thanking all of the members of the Admiralty and other fine Navy officers for assisting me with my training period. It has been a great pleasure being on patrol with all of you, and fighting by your side. I only hope that I was more of a boon than a burden to you all.

I have attached below some images to show my training records.

Pilot and Ship details before training.

Pilot and Ship details after training.

First half of training
My training began with Vice Admiral Rohj Teerin, he aided me with learning all the basic functions of piloting with the Navy, and reminded me of the various rules and regulations of patrolling and what not. I was able to familiarise myself with the Executioner, as this was my first time flying. The controls are remarkably similar to previous ships I had flown, such as the Avenger, so it did not take long. However, the flip switch for deploying mines was in the same spot where the retractable cup holder was on my Avenger. Thankfully, there were no injuries due to my few negligible discharges of Nuclear mines.

After setting up my ship, I was assigned to accompany Admiral Alan Polstari on a routine patrol around Liberty space. I was able to record various important locations on my neural net, such as jump holes and bases frequented by criminals. This was very helpful, along the way we encountered various hostiles which were dealt with appropriately.

When we jumped into the California system, which was nearing the end of our patrol, I caught sight of a Lane hacker, and began to pursue. We chased him through California and into Ontario. He was believed to be heading to Cochrane, so the Admiral ordered me to jump ahead to try and intercept him there. The admiral was absolutely right, and it wasn't long until we were faced to face with a Lane Hacker. He had been seen previously in a Falchion and a Broadsword, but was currently piloting a Sabre. After some negotiations, it was evident that this Lane Hacker was the aggressive, anti-government type, and began opening fire. I used what skills I had picked up to try and gun him down. With the two of us fighting him, we were able to quickly put him down. This was my first kill under Liberty Navy colours.

Second half of training
During the second half of my training, I spent some time patrolling independently around Liberty space. Practicing everything I had learned previously. I was called to join a Navy raid into Rheinland space, but it was a stalemate for quite some time, as we were not able to attack the Rheinlanders, except in self defence, so after some time we left.

Later in my training I was on patrol with Fleet Admiral Roy Sanders, we were heading into Texas for a routine patrol. There was a distress call from a junker ship, stating that an ALG ship was treating him badly and law enforcement was required. We originally thought this strange, as ALG were generally very hard working and diligent people, while junkers are generally not to be trusted. We cruised over to their position, and began negotiations. Fleet Admiral Sanders assigned me to watch over the Junker and ensure he did not run away, while Sanders negotiated with the ALG miner. After much negotiation the ALG pilot transmitted logs of everything that had happened between the junker and the ALG miner. It was clearly evident that the junker was a filthy racist towards rheinland civilians, and was pirating him for money. We then told the junker he was going to pay for his pirating actions and his racial abuse to a perfectly good hard working rheinland miner and began firing upon him and destroying his ship.

In the last hour of my training period, I was patrolling alone throughout New York and Colorado, not much to report there.

I hope this summary of my training period is satisfactory, and I look forward to flying with y'all soon.

Regards,
Recruit Zeeroi Takann

Well then, I was released from the hospital last night. Everything seems to be working as intended, at least for the time being. I can't say I haven't changed over the past month; having a broken arm and leg alongside a hole in your stomach affects your mental health, but I digress.

I started off from Norfolk Shipyard this afternoon at roughly 17:20, where the engineers onboard managed to find my Liberator still parked there and equipped the ol' thing with some odd, new weaponry. Enforcer VI's, definitely strange things, not the Vengies that I was hoping to use. After a bout of combat testing, I can't say that they're too great, but, whatever.

After undocking, I was greeted with a comms channel invite to a channel consisting of Primary and Secondary officers alongside a few Bundschuh activists. Nonetheless, there appeared to be quite a bit of rejoicing, and apparently I missed a lot of good ass kicking. Unfortunate, but I'll be ready to stomp the faces of Rheinlanders in the next time we decide to have an incursion into Hamburg, hopefully.

Afterwards, I passed by a Mammoth named Decebalus carrying a load of Counterfeit Software. Along with the cooperation of nearby Navy assets, I managed to tail him all the way to Bering, where I cornered him and demanded a fine as well as the jettisoning of his cargo. The transport halted, and then suddenly began firing upon my Liberator. I took immediate action and returned fire, but my Enforcer VI's were unable to do even minor damage to the heavy transport shields of the vessel. Thanks to the Liberator's superb design, I was able to dodge the majority of weapons fire and lost no nanobots or batteries during this encounter, but had to continue to dodge due to the lack of sustained firepower that I had onboard. Eventually, a hired gun working for the Navy, a Montante with the designation Chaton, jumped through to Bering and assisted me in firing upon the ship with his six Solaris gunboat turrets. Having taken considerable damage, he jumped back to Texas, only to be greeted by the Battlecruiser Concord and a very angry Admiral Sanders. He stopped after realizing his chances of surviving were slim and dropped the cargo after negotiating with Admiral Sanders.

This concluded this encounter. Guncams will be attached below.

^ ^

The next encounter I had was with a Camara named Rehnuhdren, who I managed to snap a cam shot of his hold before he landed on Houston with a load of Cardamine. The smuggler undocked later and tried to play me off, stating that he did not have any Cardi and that I needed to "get some glasses". After presenting evidence and threatening to have his docking license revoked, he tried to run away, but failed to as my Interceptor sped by, disrupting his cruise as he tried to flee towards the Puerto Rico jump hole. With the assistance of the Concord again along with the Upholder Dave.Harison, we managed to squeeze the fine money out of him and sent him off with a stern warning. The warning did not work, as I caught him holding slaves in a Hegemon an hour later above Fort Bush. He disappeared before I was able to snap cams. I guess some people never learn.

This concluded this encounter. Guncams will be attached below.

^ ^ ^

The last notable encounter of the day was when I received a report from a group of DSE security ships that there was a DSE-aligned Mastodon in California that was loaded up to the brim with slaves by the name of Lackiff. I immediately grabbed my Upholder and responded as fast as I could while the security wing disabled the trade lane long enough for me to arrive. After a debate about the morals of slavery, he coughed up the fine and released the slaves to a nearby Universal transport, who was compensated in the end.

This concluded my patrol. Guncams will be attached below.

^ ^ ^ ^

Expect to see more of me in the coming weeks.
Ravis out.
