GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Certain things have happened of late that I need to address.

Over the past few days, SA seems to be getting flooded with application requests. I'm going to choose, at the moment, to not put a cap on this, because of the fact that we are not even actively recruiting anymore.

John Matrix, Zepphos, and WingCommander were approved by a joint commission.

And ALL future applicants must be approved by a joint commission of the five original members: Me(Elgatodiablo), OsoRojo, Nussebull, Thor, and Tannik Seldon.

Simple majority decision, but I reserve the right to nullify.

Today, we have another interesting case. Unless I was unaware of recruiting behind my back, someone recruited a certain: Razr.

But I do not think that is the case. He is either timoty95, who decided that his name got boring, or he is a new player who walked in without understanding that you apply, or are recruited.

The decision on OKing Timoty95 is still pending. The reason being: SA simply no longer has the funds to provide for another player who will come, then go.

As on the case of Razr(Timoty?), his post will be know as an application, not an acceptance, and I wantto make it clear that no one just randomly dons a SA tag.

There's alot more to that, and the concept of the pledge that I developed is slowly wasting away. I do not want this faction to waste away similarly. Everyone here has put much work into the SA, and the last thing I want to see is the SA ruined by the actions of its members, whether intentional or accidental.

On a lighter note, the LNS Revolver is going to be the first ship of the LEF, or Liberty Expeditionary Force.

Once the force is completely assembled, we shall begin a tour of Sirius to demonstrate the military might of Liberty.

ooc: Zepphos not a problem. You will find most of us fund our own vessels, and as a GB pilot I believe this entails a promotion.

Welcome to the LNS Revolver. Its great to see that our fleet is keeping these fine vessels. The Gunboat may be small but packs a tremendous punch. We need to get together for training. Hammer out.

OOC Stuff:

1. I agree totally with the bulk of what Elgato stated. I think that membership should not just given out to anyone. The selection process needs to include a probationary period in which the member in question will not be tagged SA. If that raises too many objections objections with our neighbors in Sirius then maybe a probation tag like [P-SA] or something.

2. Also I think membership should be more heavily contingent on participation. We have a slew of new members but only two that I've counted, have posted anything. (I cant make sigs for guys that don't post) Also if possible I'd like a list of who is who in private of course. I get so confused. So many new ships. I mean no disrespect to anyone. Just want a guide so I dont keep making mistakes.:)

3. It's one thing to help each other out with money/stuff and another to fling a new cap ship at everyone who wants to join up. I don't want to discourage new members but it can be a drain on the coffers. Trade ships are fine to support and I want to continue that. But after that and a fighter, it is a mark of participation to grow and upgrade your personal "fleet" and contribute to the SA. And of course, if at all possible we need to give each other a hand. (I have great respect for anyone who funds their own ships)

4. With so many new members it should be easy to trick out VA to the hilt. It seems rather empty now. I spent a few years out in D.C. and loved that section of the country. So I think out system need to reflect that. At least a planet, earth like not purple.
