On another standard patrol, a duo of ships were spotted evading Liberty Forces. They traveled into the New York -> Texas Jump Gate, and I pursued. I identified the two evading craft as a civilian train craft with improper passenger conditions*, callsign King_Arthur, and a Independent Pirate in a Spaital Deep Space Explorer, callsign rally-102. I stopped the pirate, letting the train dock at LPI Huntsville. The pirate was severely intoxicated and clearly not capable of engaging anyone, although he did resist arrest and attempt to evade both myself and =LSF=Marisa.Marshall, who was called in the event that the pirate attempted engagements. We stopped him from enabling cruise several times, and I called out a final warning, before destroying the vessel. His cargo of Helium has been left to drift through space with his wreckage. The criminal-hauling train was not captured.

*//He was hauling criminals so I did not really give him priority.

SUBJECT: Duty Report

----------
Another day spent on the war front that is the Magellan gate in California. Once on duty I was immediately contacted by the Durango and asked to intercept a fleeing Gun-Boat, I wasted no time and followed instructions without question till I was running a direct intercept course onto the flank of the Gun-Boat, I bumped it with a Cruise Disruptor and it wasn't long before the Durango, I and a fellow Avenger pilot of the Navy call-sign 'Joke' took it down with minimal difficulty.

The second encounter we had was a Gallic Royal Navy V.H.F in Magellan which two other allied V.H.F pilots took down the split second I made it to the scene.

The third and final encounter I faced during that special patrol was a rogue bomber trying to run around Los Angeles, I intercepted them and they immediately engaged me, I defended myself and had no choice but to use lethal force in doing so. Attached is a confirmation of termination of the rogue bomber.

Another day, another Legionaire. Today, Hellfire Legion fightercraft were spotted at West Point Military Academy, quickly followed by a Legion capital ship. The Liberty force involving Navy elements [LN]-Zoe.Valentine, ATL-387, LNS-Illustrious, LPI-Moe.Knox.[O], LPI-James.O'Brian[O], LNS-Independence, |LNS|Alabama, and a Bounty Hunter known as Samuel.Adams were on the scene and began engagements. After the Legionnaire capital ship destroyed the |LNS|Alabama and the LNS-Independence, it retreated from the reinforcements of the LN capital ships, we destroyed the defenseless fightercraft one by one, and the last fighter quickly retreated after his comrades were killed.

Criminals of today...that is what I found today running cargo scans at Planet Manhattan. A Junker, callsign Metalfoods was caught hauling Slomon K'Hara artifacts straight into Planet Manhattan. I could not stop him fast enough for him to unload his cargo hold, but I did stop him as he undocked. I demanded a fine of four million credits, a sum that is sufficient for posession of over 400 units of highly illegal contraband, but he refused, and docked with Trenton Outpost. He came out shortly afterwards to continue evasion, and I pursued. He managed to successfully dock at Rochester Base, thanks to the assistance to one freelancer buratos. I 'firmly' told this Freelancer that he just assisted in the obstruction of justice, and demanded a fine of one million credits. Of course, he refused as well, and fired upon me. In my Upholder, I was underprepared for a battle, and had to flee from the foolish attacker. It is days like these that makes me question why we do not destroy every vessel upon doing evil.

Both the crew of the integrity and I are beyond proud right now and unable to form words to describe the strength of our response to the presence of two Outcast Capital ships in Liberty.
One of our new Interdictor Captains made quick work of the first Destroyer, along with an ESRD Operative call sign 'Reaper'.

The second engagement was between an Outcast Sarissa, the same Interdictor and us the Integrity. The Interdictor had managed to drop the Sarissa's shields down and bring it to 50% hull integrity as well, at this point we joined the fight to ensure we took no losses whatsoever and fired one and a half of a salvo from our main gun. We scored the critical hit and bent the ship in half, sealing the fate of the enemy crew inside as the Sarissa buckled and exploded under the withering firepower.

A long time Rouge Scylla pest known as DeathCollector was spotted once more within the New York System, this time inbetween Fort Bush and Planet Manhattan. LPI units LPI-FCI.Butner.Low and LPI-SWAT-Moe.Knox[U] assisted Bounty Hunter callsign BHG|Guardian and myself in destroying the Rouge hostile. We left a Hellfire Legionnaire piloting an Eagle to get associated with the Bounty Hunter, although I do not think they will get along well.

Fifth Fleet member Jack O'Neil, Primary pilot Reed Icarus, and myself were very busy today. We engaged a Gaian Gunship in California and Icarus scrapped it up, we shipped supplies around for the logistics core, then we received a distress call from a Republic vessel. A Rogue Scylla and Barghest were spotted around Norfolk Shipyard, and we responded to the call. Scylla callsign NR-Good.For.Nothing was engaged and quickly fled to Buffalo Base. We engaged the Barghest pilot star01 after the Scylla made a run into Bullalo, and the Barghest called for a mass of other Rogue pilots to his assistance, fled bomber fire for a long period, and finally crashed his ship into Buffalo Base's docking bays. After retreating from over fifteen Rogue pilots and a gunboat, we spotted HF vessels. Unable to engage them in our current state, we scattered, but Icarus bravely engaged to allow O'Niel and I to escape. After that, a Hellfire Legion battlegroup entered New York with a Rouge Scylla, a HF Battleship, and one of the earlier Hellfire combatants. LPI officer Moe Knox engaged the bomber [HF]-Gamma.6 and was put out of action by the battlegroup. In my current state, I was unable to assist him without getting sent into the void myself. I called for the Primary Fleet to sent reinforcements, but no response was sent back, and we could not repel them without more forces. They retreated after the destruction of Knox's vessel, and I had to go get Knox to the infirmary. The sight of a Hellfire Legionnaire piloting a Liberty Rogue Scylla destroyer is highly worrisome. If they are allied in any way, then our jobs will get a whole lot worse.

This is Lieutenant Reed Icarus, 1st FLeet.

Reporting on the encounters I had today between supply runs for the Logistics Division.

I responded to a distress call early into my first shift; a rogue Scylla and Werewolf were reported harassing traders between Norfolk and the Texas gate. I scrambled my bomber and assisted a carrier and another Upholder in scaring the Scylla back to Buffalo. I also spotted the Werewolf at this point, but did not engage; we did not take the bait and enter the badlands.

During my second shift, just after Lt. Cmdr. Reeves signed off, John Sader of 5th fleet received a report that an OSC vessel was being harassed by a Rogue Werewolf. Sure enough, it was Tom.Baker again, and as Lt. McZgonn looked on, Sader and I scrapped Mr. Baker.

I returned to my supply runs, and spotted a Heron hauling 2,940 delegates. I informed Sader and McZgonn of the ship's trajectory and they intercepted the ship at Norfolk, where the captain hurriedly docked and refused to communicate. Later he would argue that he was merely docking to let the extra passengers off, but I know he was full of it. He did everything he could to evade us and ran to dock without saying a word. Anyway...

I returned to supplying Long Island Station once more, and for a while the operation went on without a hitch. Sader's wife contacted him, saying she was going into labor, and he departed. Admiral O'Neill of 5th fleet took his post, and we continued. At some point, Admiral O'Neill received word of a Gaian gunboat in the California system. I secured the Fort Wayne and rendezvoused with O'Neill in my Upholder. We headed for California and, sure enough, spotted the reported gunboat next to the trade lane between the New York gate and Planet Mojave. The Gaian pilot suggested that we let him leave Liberty space, but the Admiral would have none of it. I had an equipment malfunction (my fault) and had to disengage, land on Riverside Station, and then head back to assist Admiral O'Neill, but we managed to scrap the slippery bastard with Lt. Hirlerman's assistance.

Hirlerman and I launched our transports and continued resupplying Long Island Station, but before long another distress call came in; another Scylla near the lane between Texas and Norfolk. The three of us scrambled bombers again and investigated. This time, there was a barghest involved, which I managed to lead away from the fight while O'Neill and Hirlerman chased the Scylla to Buffalo. I kept the Barghest occupied while they repaired and resupplied, then they returned to help me finish off the Barghest. We ended up chasing him back to Buffalo Base, where a gunboat patrol began firing on us. I disengaged and returned to West Point to grab my Guardian, then I got behind the barghest and annoying him until he docked on Buffalo. Admiral O'Neill's bomber was critically damaged during the fight, but I was able to tractor him in and return him to Norfolk Shipyard.

It was at that point that a group of three Legion fighters- an eagle, a guardian (callsign [HF]-Stoneheart), and a cutlass- swarmed us, and Hirlerman and myself decided to call a retreat as we were still low on supplies, in need of repair, and somewhat fatigued from the recent combat. I was able to keep them occupied until Lt. Hirlerman got away, then I was able to lose the Legionnaires and head to Fort Bush, then to Manhattan without incident, but they were waiting for me at West Point when I attempted to return to base. There were several ships in the area, and one of the pilots attacked suddenly and I was caught off guard. I performed an emergency dock maneuver and handed my fighter over to the mechanics for repairs.

Lieutenant Reed Icarus, out.

Today was busy for all. Several Rogues were spotted running rampant around Liberty, and several ships were severely damaged, one being LNS-Sheridan. An independent Hellfire Legionnaire attempted to attack my vessel while I was in New York, but he chose the wrong Bison to attack. I was almost victim to the pirate attacks in my Bison several times, including a run-in with some Rogues in Cortez, but I managed to evade capture when some Battlegroup Auxesia units appeared to attack the pirates.

After a shipment from Saint Paul Base to Long Island Station, I caught a freelance Artifact runner, callsign inept, trying to enter the planetary docking rings with a Kusari transport train. As his vessel name showed, he was inept at even controlling his vessel, as he was obviously unaware of the fact that the AI controlling the docking ring was telling him that he could not use the ring because of the size of his ship. I was about to destroy his vessel, when, out of nowhere, he charges the planet, apparently thinking he could enter Manhattan through the atmosphere unassisted. As we all well know, that obviously does not work, and I now posses his entire load of 1765 illegal Artifacts. If all criminals were like this, I would be out of a job rather quickly.

Greetings officers,

Lieutenant McZgonn here, I'm back on duty after some medical problems. My treatment is now finished and I'm ready to serve the Liberty again. Now, back to the point...

I've just finished a small patrol around our neighbourhood - New York, Texas and Pennsylvania systems. We've checked the area - along with Lt. Cmdr. Reeves from the 1st Fleet and Cpt. Armada from 5th - and found no hostile beings worth mentioning. Some minor treats have been neutralised, some traders held for cargo inspection. Civilians showed high level of cooperation, while listening to our words. Two transports may be worth noting - the Mining&Trading-NZ-ltd. and Rick_Decard - both transporting some Business Delegates - as follows 600 and 650. It was withing cargo limits as the Laws of Liberty regulates, so we gave them a green light to proceed.

Laws of Liberty Wrote:Improper passenger conditions.
This is defined as the crowding of people into a ship not designed for such tasks. The carrying of more than 650 passengers, VIPs, delegates, or any other classification of people in any ship not listed here is to be considered unlawful. Officers may demand that said people be dropped off at the nearest station or transferred to their own vessel as well as demand a fine.

To sum up: It was just another casual patrol withno serious hostile activity in the area. Leaving New York safe was a pleasant feeling,

McZgonn out
