I have heard OSI have tensions with Rheinland. I even heard they were in war! Is this true? If yes, are OSI repninja'd to be hostile in Rheinland?
Yes I think so, I believe its the same as IC - OSI were caught supplying hessians, and refused to pay the fine or something.
OSI are rephacked hostile from 87.
OSI were caught supplying hessians.

RFP asked them to pay a fine.

OSI refused.

RFP bared them from entering Rheinland until their fine was paid.

OSI - yes.

On the subject of IC - RFP caught some indies supplying a hessian POB in Omega-7, so they banned all of IC indies from Rheinland. The official faction refused to have their indies kicked and would rather stick to them. One thing led to anther and IC got completely banned as well.
I'll have to look into that one day, and discover 1) Why OSI didn't pay the fine and 2) Why Rheinland is in as good shape as it is, as I thought Rheinland was supposed to suffer economic consequences from forcing out IC.

OSI was deliberately trading with hessians on several warnings from RFP . There was a little spying and metagaming too , but general framework was that. So last fine was about 1 billion credits , so OSI declined formulating that they will avoid Rheeinland as plague harhar... I remeber those times very good as me was one sideline part of that.

I dont think OSI is willing to move forward to improve relations so it is how it is .
Thanks for all the answers. I'm sad to hear.
Ye rhienland was supposed to suffer consequences in the admin controlled events that included IC loing Bonn.

But sadly the admins got tired of that, and didnt even resolve bonn for ages, resulting in it shooting traders, and stations next to it, until rhienland took it over, with no negative repercussions.

Unless you count the yet another activity drop in rheinland.

Its a shame, cos the admins showed they could make player RP matter, and could do it well, with the LD-14/BS Westfallen, Omega Incident back in 85.
I wont make comments, as I'm obviously biased in this case, but I'll post the links to the 3 threads here and you take your own conclusions.
